  1. Okay, did a bit of reworking to fit the Achilles proc in Gambler's Cut, decrease the recharge a bit on Shadow Meld, boost the damage on Soaring Dragon, and to replace Superspeed with Power Surge (but not slotted terribly effectively - wanted the global recharge bonus there, but perhaps with Spiritual Core Paragon alpha the slotting of it could be improved).

Wouldn't The Lotus Drops be a great place for an Achilles -res proc? So far I haven't been able to rework the plan to make that work out to my satisfaction, though.

Only thing that really makes me sad is the lack of Power Surge, but I understand why you don't want it. A couple powers would like some more slotting, but still work as they are (Gambler's loves procs, especially the Achilles'; Soaring Dragon wants more damage; Shadow meld wants more recharge). I actually recommend skipping Grounded like you did for scrappers.

The only thing I see that really should be done is swapping the Endmod/Acc in Power Sink to Endmod/End, as Power Sink is autohit.
Hmm, the Achilles proc does seem like a good idea. Thanks for pointing out the Endmod/Acc in PS, I often forget that it is autohit. I'm not sure where to find another slot to add to Soaring Dragon, but I wasn't 100% satisfied with the 4 slots there, either...

It would be nice to have more recharge in Shadow Meld, but I'm not entirely convinced... changing the second slot to pure recharge would shave off 1.2s according to Mids, and a third slot with recharge would shave off another 2.1s, down to 23.8s apparently. Nice... but considering the 3s activation time, I wasn't imagining using it immediately when it is up or anything. I suppose if I was trying to faux-tank for a team it would be nice, but if they are impatient (when aren't they?) they won't want to wait 24s (+3s) between spawns anyway...

Thank you, I will ponder your suggestions and post a revised build when I am ready. Maybe I will steal back the second slot from Stamina - .2 end/s isn't likely to make a huge difference, considering the staggering end suck I am already experiencing (before adding all the global recharge) and Energize/Power Sink...
  3. Electric Armor scrapper builds don't get as much discussion here as most of the other armor sets, so I was hoping this build I came up with might spark some discussion, and give a chance for criticism. I researched as much as I could from here and the Brutes board, mixing and matching advice and examples in order to create this build.

Main Goals: avoid mega-expensive purple sets and pvp IOs, softcap S/L defense (before Divine Avalanche), perma-hasten (with Spiritual Total Core Revamp rare alpha minimum) - I wanted high survivability for Incarnate Trials

Debatable choices: skipping Grounded (two +4 knockback enhances instead), skipping Power Surge (very cool looking, and can be useful, but I hate the crash), Superspeed taken for knockback protection slot and stealth effect, Tactics taken for confuse/fear protection when needed

  4. Put me down as another plea for more slots! I'm maxed at 36 on Virtue. I'd probably buy another dozen or more if I could.
  5. Has anyone else had the Launcher suddenly start triggering Kaspersky AV? It says the Launcher is trying to access my Thunderbird mail Trash folder (!) and prompts me to Allow or Block it. Blocking it allows launching to continue as normal, but there is no way to remember that choice, so it's annoying having to select that every load... especially with the new annoying EULA acceptance click in addition...
  6. MrLiberty - I don't get your claimed totals for the build you posted there. Hero Designer tells me 37% def. (I only got 35% when I tried to manually tally it up.) I don't have the i16 update for it installed, but I don't think there were any changes that could account for 7+% difference there...

[Edit] Hmm, Hero Designer can definitely be a bit buggy with it's totals... after a save/reload it is now showing 39% def. Still quite a bit short though.

Exactly - I find Fissure does about 2/3 as much damage for me as does Hotfeet.

Seismic Smash I just use to finish off the occasional mob. Fire Cages does about 1/4 the damage of Fissure I find, which isn't bad, but not worth worrying about much.
