I use a bit of a less anime/manga-ish style for you guys, because of the way CoH stuff looks. The eyes are usually a biiiit bigger, but not by all that much. Depends on the character, really.

Okay, I attempted coloring her... (Not with the method you described, a different one, which is the art of fill and burn and dodge. Really bad way of coloring. >.>
But anyway, I think it turned out alright... Sort of.

S'alright. I do chibis as well, though. I mean I DRAW them. >.<
Look in the thread "An invitation to all artists" and later in that thread you'll see a more realistic styled drawing of mine. If you want one of those just ask.

Hehe, s'not a chibi, Static, that's just my normal semicartoony style. If ya want you can get one looking a bit more realistic, I don't normally do that style, but.. Just post in Derek's Sketch Thread or the avatar thread again.

Don't get me wrong, DJ, it's still a great piece, but I think some of the people who've posted here have been right. It's not your best. I think part of it is that there's a building close to him, which sort of takes away from the majesty of the 'soaring through the sky' aspect of it. Also, since his arms are up in that pose, it doesn't look like he's flying very fast. I just don't think it's your BEST piece, DJ.
But still WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY better than I could do, though. Even if I had Maya and an Apple. ...And Poser.

Very nice! You got the proportions right too! I would add some designs and what not on the inside of the clothing, to give it more of a 'finished' look. And, uhm..... GET A SCANNER ALREADY!!! YOU SHOULD POST HERE MORE!!!

Here's the one Quake made, but I edited it to have hair, no offense.. You got *almost* everything right, Quake. It's still great. So, anyway, here it is.
(Sorry if that sounded like I didn't like it, Quake, I really do, it's awesome. Ya just got the hair wrong.)
