I messed up a bit on the drawing itself, but..

I know, that's not a serious way of drawing mouths. It's a little cartoony way. Like in a funny moment, you can warp the drawing a little but cuz it looks funny. It's in anime/manga all the time, like the eyes will become little circles, the mouth will become huge... etc lol

It's drawn with the tablet.. But why am I saying that? That makes no difference, I ink it on the comp anyway....

Yes, that's a one yen coin. I didn't know what to draw.

Well everyone, it seems I've made some small progress with my card "XXI - The World" and I've posted the first update on deviant ART. I'm still trying to decide what to do with the image. I could leave it as is, but I'd feel like I got lazy and took the easy way out. I want to try and do some more work with sketching and coloring, but I'm not sure what I could do. Any ideas?

You could trace the outline of him and the background with black, and make it sort of stylized.

EDIT: I mean on another layer, and delete the normal one, so it looks like a kewl stylized drawing thingamabob.

Person, (Hehe it's fun calling you that ) I think you should stay in the request lines. Plus, you need a confidence boost? Post some art on this forum. You'll get compliments, critiques, just like the rest of us. Sure, there's always someone better, (Except maybe Gill and DJ ) but you've gotta press on. People do want to see your art, I'm sure of it. Go someplace that has a scanner. Lots of places have 'em.
