Well, it's once again Halloween time. This year I'm on Virtue, so I figured I'd share details about my plans:

October 20th - 25th:

I shall be about Paragon City on my hero, "Glacier Sagittarius." I will be collecting badges as for the in-game event, however I'll be giving away 200 Million to anyone I see with a costume I really like. Basically, I'm saying this part so you know if that character sends a trade invite, it's because I'm giving you a prize. Also note, don't come up to me asking how you look. I will give rewards randomly.

Sunday, October 25th at 6PM EST

I will start a Costume Contest which will be held in Galaxy City. Keep that in mind, Galaxy City. Location will probably be inside the AE building or someplace with decent lighting as endless night isn't good for viewing costumes.

My theme will be Cartoon Characters. Basically, pick one you like and I'll award whoever looks the best in my opinion.

I know some might say this could be against the EULA, however it's Halloween. A time for dressing up. You could use 1 costume slot to make this and not use it until my Costume Contest if you'd like. I merely think it'd be fun.

If any GMs wish to let me know if this idea is okay or not, please feel free to post here. Otherwise, I doubt there will be an issue as you don't have to show your costume until my Contest.

Prizes will be:

3rd: 10 Million
2nd: 20 Million
1st: 30 Million
Grand Prize/My Favorite: 40 Million

Edit: As a note, I'll be dressed as Darkwing Duck so I'd suggest not dressing as him. Mainly because why would I award someone dressed like me. ^_^

So, as few know, I am from Guardian and have 1 character on Virtue, although he is my favorite! He is my Semi-Badger and the only Accomplishment I need now is from the Dr. Quaterfield TF. I know Guardian runs this on an average basis, like a couple times a month and they post it on the forum most of the time.

I notice Virtue's forum rarely talks about getting TFs together, but I know it's more into RP, as am I. Still, since I'm still sort of "new" to Virtue, I wonder if there are any people that run this TF from time to time, or if any have future plans to. I'd start it, but it's the longest TF in the game and I'd prefer to know the team is full of people that KNOW it's long and WILL stick it out. You know, Veterans and such.

Anyway, curious if this is run or if it will be run, if I can join. Last TF I need so I might as well get it over with. Sadly I only have Wednesdays and Sundays off, although I go take a day off XD

It seems something negative happened last night.

At about 3AM Mountain time, I logged in to check something and my Global Friends list was empty, my channels were all gone, Tells were buggy and my global was changed from @Zyxith to @ZyxithOG.

I quit and waited 30 minutes, figured it was one of those short lived bugs. I log back on and my Global was again @Zyxith but everything was gone, Globals, Channels, where you access Server Friends and such was an empty window and a friend @Nezz I sent a tell to kept coming to me as @oNezz"

So I go to bed and hope it gets fixed and then now I can't log on due to:

Wrong game version, run patcher and reconnect, server 1600.20090902.4T2, client 1600.20090902.5T2

I am sure the people will fix it and I can go without the game until it's fixed, I mean it's not that big a deal and with new Issue content I can understand sometimes it'll bug out, but still. I wanted to let people know of what happened to me last night. Seems something happened then.

Edit: Oh, forgot to add, yes I too at about 8:30AM Mountain time ran the game and it downloaded and installed a patch to which I can't log in now.

Well it seems at the end of the day I'll need 500,000 Prestige to make ONE Slow Field work. Sigh.... I really whish they'd give us more base details... I know it's Defense but to get a water effect it'll cost 500K for one.. guess I'll never have one.

So I have around 270,000 Prestige and have crafted a Slow Field. I want it for water effect in a pool. It needs like 200 Energy and 10 Control but to make rooms for said items to give me said amounts, it keeps adding up.

Am I missing something or do I truly need a TON of prestige to just have ONE Slow Field for it's looks of water?

Only thing I'm kind of upset about right now is, looking at the login screen, seems they have switched the Snowflake chest details. I have to new thick one. Means a trip to the tailor... sigh. Poor Glacier Sagittarius.

It's funny how a new issue comes out when I plan a game break. Seriously, within 2-3 days before Issue 12, 13, 14 and now 15... I step away and the new Issue comes. Sigh...

It was fun when I went a few years, but now that my friends don't go... I kind of don't want to go alone, so thought it'd be fun to meet some City of Heroes players. That or maybe this is a cry for seeking out fellow Coloradians XD

Curious if anyone is in Colorado and/or going to this convention?

As or the shadow under the eye, I was going with how the face is shaped and how shadows would fall. It might be a bit much, but a shadow would be there as opposed to light being under the other.

Also, yes I do remember a Beautiful Frost. I tend to wander Pocket D when I draw and have sketched a few characters.

I finally finished my artwork for my character Glacier Sagittarius. It's sort of a personal wallpaper and would like some comments as to how it looks. Been thinking of drawing other peoples' characters too...

Since I recently moved my level 50 Archery Blaster to Virtue from Guardian, I'm curious what the scheduling is for Hami on Virtue.

So I bought the Architect Edition. mainly so when I reformat soon and in the future, I don't have to download a lot of Issues.

So I noticed, the packaging and install itself is a little... blah. The main install screen is rather dazzleless. It lacks style and the images they show during install, are the exact same from the Good VS Evil pack. Not that it's an issue, it's just... why not something flashier?

Other facts are why is the packaging so lame. It comes with a map but why is it the same as I got with Good VS Evil? Why not updated. There is no Venice.. White Plains.. Overbrook... they have all been renamed so it's a bit pathetic, and no Cimerora listed either... Blah.

Not only that bu the box has a few typos on it. One I am looking at now is "Interent connection required"

Dunno what an Interent is...

Am I the only one that got what seems like a lame, rushed version or is this the standard for the "OMG Architect Edition"

So I might need to reformat and one thing I dislike most is the LOOONGG installing of the Test Server. Mainly because it seems to completely download the whole game. I have DSL and it takes like 4 hours. Hell, even when I have to reinstall the Good VS Evil version of CoX [which is all up to Issue 7 I think] it only takes like 45 minutes to download Issues 8 and up.

Is there a way to just copy the CoX data into the Test Server folder and all I'd need to download as Test updates?

Let me know it I sucked at explaining that.

So I'm thinking of transferring a toon to another Server. Issue is, he's in my offline friends' SG and since they don't play much anymore, I ended up being the "Super Leader"

I'm curious what'll happen if I quit the SG. Will there be no Super Leader? What'll happen exactly.

the Martial Arts power Eagle Claw... it says it has a special critical capacity... I'm wondering if it'd still give good damage if I slotted it with Absolute Amazement for Stun...

Another weird question I have, which is just a curious one... has anyone out there NOT taken Placate? I mean, I do know it's useful to get an enemy off your back but wondering if a Stalker can work without it... or hell, how it even works in PVP. I mean not only do I dislike it's "Jedi" animation.. but if I could free up a power...

But ya.. just curious if a Stalker can work without it... is it really that important.

What I'm trying to figure out is that "Soft cap" thing

So... if my Defense is at 45%, I'm at the cap so enemies will [basically] hit 5%.... if I had 0% Defense enemies hit 95%.. right?

So does that mean...

0% = 95% chance of hitting
11.25% = around 75% chance
22.5% = around 50%
33.75% = around 25%
45% = 5%?

How does this sound...

With Hide on 45.2% to Range/Melee and 95.8% in AoE
With Hide off 37% to Range/Melee and 38.4% in AoE

So I got mine to 50 and need to respec him, I'm curious if anyone else picked these two powersets. I'm still thinking over how to slot, which powers are important. Also I am still a tad lost about Defense. Such as, in PVE, what Defense% is good or worthy of being "Uber"

I know Defense means you are less likely to be hit but what's a good number to aim for. 30%... 45%.. 50+? and I mean without Hide's bonuses because I think they only work while I'm "Hidden"

Well true, but the fact is, I'm sure a patient type could sell it for 160mil.. just trying to see if anyone has it besides the people currently selling XD.

Okay I seem to have sold all my stuff and got the Ragnarok..

So.. I guess I just need the Apocalypse: Rech/Acc ... either the IO or recipe. Looking for offers heh, but would be willing to pay 125mil.

Since I recently had to redo my build, as in pull out 7 IOs and replace them with ones in their sets that I needed, I am in need of these two.

Sure, they are on the Market, yet I don't want to wait nor dump an over-the-average amount to get them.

Apocalypse's seems to be going around 125Mil and Ragnarok 90Mil. I'm mostly just curious if anyone out there has them before I fiddle with the market.

Oh, and of course I am talking Hero/Blue side.
