    I'm going to have to butt in here and say 'no'. You argue in a previous post that you have problems with the way the story is introduced and talked about ingame, and yet you also want to get rid of the intro missions? Let me quote you the intro text for the mission to Wincott in the Hollows:

    The Trolls are the worse problem in the Hollows, but they aren't the only one. I'll let Lt. Wincott fill you in.
    Yes, there is a clue given as well; it's the background to Eastgate, all about the Hollowing, etc. However, even just from this, you have an idea that the Hollows are called Eastgate. I use this example here b/c you mentioned that players don't know this. I think that intro arcs are of paramount importance, if not just for the simple reason that I'm wondering 'who the hell is this and why do i care?' As for the pop-ups like you mention indicating we have new contacts, those don't give me the best details and are only in for the newer contacts.

    Yes, the intro arcs are annoying for low level characters. Yes, they take a whole 5 minutes. I think they bring a bit more value in than what they cost in terms of a low level of annoyance. As previously quoted, you have an initial idea for the Hollows that you'll be facing Trolls, and you are for a decent chunk of the time (others being Outcasts, CoT, and the Igenous). The same kind of assistance can be said for the intro to Striga (Ooh look, Council). Now, croatoa, not so much, and that could be improved on.

    Finally, I think we need at least one more intro mission that's sorely missing, and that's the Shard. If they ever redo the Shard into a proper zone/zones and not "farm kora fruit 50 billion times", I think an intro mission is needed, if only to tell folks that there's a frelling Shadow Shard out there.

    Sorry to see you go, Fista. Hope to see you flying around out there. Once servers are discussed, maybe should think of a server for Victory folks to congregate to. I'd rather stick to the ship captains I know than the ones I don't.

  6. As I've always been more of a console person, all but one of the games I'm looking forward to are on the consoles. Going to pick up the GTA 4 episodes pack sometime soon, run through that. Already have Assassin's Creed 2 on pre-order, loved the first, though doing the exact same damn thing every town got a little old (climb this, do this side mission, slaughter that guy). Also will probably pre-order the new Ratchet and Clank game sometime soon. Always been a fan of that series.

    As for computer games, Trek Online's the only one i'm looking at.

    I will freely admit that I said this. I find it fairly rediculous that, at the start of the night last night, we had the almost standard 1-3ish folks +1 to the target level (simple, understandable), but we also had someone +5 to the target level.

    The idea of Iso's that I have seen since Iso 2 was that folks level together and stick together. There's already been one instance that sticks out in my mind where someone was kicked for being +2 (or more)to the target near the end of an iso run (freely admiting going into RV and working ahead), and I merely pointed that out to Ham last night.

    The 'disable xp' buttons are there for a reason; even more so with SSK. Failure to use them in the right circumstances should be... inadvisable.

    Good ******* God. This was SO not needed. I don't know about other servers, but Vic's not nearly as hopping as it has in the past with TFs and whatnot for this event, an extra day is just pathetic.

    The only good thing that's come out of this weekend so far is that /gmotd message I saw this afternoon from Posi, basically saying "oops, AE is not getting double xp. <.< >.> My bad."

    Of course, the ultimate irony will be that they schedule ANOTHER 2xp week (seriously, at this rate) for those that wanted to level by AE.

    Utterly rediculous.

  18. Leaning towards some sort of blaster this go-round. Thinking fire/MM, but eh. Trying to avoid taking another blaster down the blapper road, so avoiding most of the heavy melee secondaries (elec, nrg, fire).

    We'll see.

    A quick rundown of some of the 35+ arcs on blue for ya, pol:

    35-40
    Mass Duplicity: nemesis, nemesis, and more nemesis. 8 missions, 3 kill alls. will be 28 merits.

    A Path Into Darkness: Council. 11 missions, 1 kill all. lot of small caves though. Will be 27 merits.

    Revenant Hero Project: Crey. Not really worth it. 10 missions, 5 of which are just fedexes. Will be 16 merits.

    Terra Conspiracy: a pretty nice arc really, story wise, with DE. 10 missions, 3 kill alls, 1 AV at the end. will be 19 merits.

    Envoy of Shadows: fun times. 8 missions, 3 AVs. CoT. Will be 15 merits.

    Organ Grinders: Rikti. 3 kill all, 3 fedex, 12 total missions. Will be 21 merits.

    40-45
    As you get to the 40+ range, you tend to end up in the longer arcs (melvin and the mysterious malta, hero's hero, anything involving carnies...) As such, just going to toss out some of my personal preferences.

    Eternal Nemesis: even more nemesis. 16 missions, 2 AVs, will be 29 merits.

    Melvin and the Mysterious Malta Group: can't help it, it's a good arc. 20 total missions, 7 fedex, 3 kill all, no AV's. will be 35 merits.

    45-50
    Probably the only one that's worth anything in the 45-50 range is Hero's Hero, due to all of the AV's. Will be 36 merits. Otherwise, there's the carnie arc, more malta in Operation: Red Wide World, or the endless arc of Unai's.
  20. And Faathim: 2:31, 90 dead. (80-85 of which were a suicidal blaster who kept jumping ahead, nuking, then wanting mutation b/c of the 'buffs') 1 tank, 2 scraps, 3 blasters, 2 defs.
  21. Sara Moore: 2.5 hours, 48 deaths. 2 tanks, 3 scraps, 3 blasters. Very quick and easy.
  22. 1:58, 11. Not bad at all for having 3 folks (or more) who had never completed the TF. GW was a lot less challenging than I would have expected, as we had half the team in melee and she didn't use the hold-o-death or the heal. A GM was used to kill the towers (quick response time), so LR went easily.

    If you mean suggestions to the game as a whole, you can go here. This is the suggestions forum; just hit new thread, and type your suggestion. Remember to check and see if somebody already suggested it though.

    If you mean suggestions for PERC on Vic, you could either ask/suggest it here in this thread or send an PM to the PERC for Vic folks (ie FMP or Scooter I believe).
