For those unfamiliar with the group, Isolators was started shortly after badges were introduced to the game. This was in the dark, dreary times before global chat, global tells, or even coalition chat. Back then, the only way to find a person from the forums was by chance or pre-arranged meeting.

The Isolators project was started so the people who post here in Victory could actually meet and play together, so that you could have some fun with the people you chat with online. Everyone made a new character for this new group. This is an once a week supergroup that plays every 8 pm Wednesdays.

When the vast majority of the group hits 50, we start a new run of the group, switching between CoH and CoV between runs.

You don't have to be an active forum poster to join, through it's encouraged. At the very least, be a member of the community; run missions, join in advertised task forces, etc.

If you're interested in joining up this run, please feel free to post interest here. Everyone is welcome.

A few notes:
Everyone is welcome.
Not everyone is welcome.
This is an once a week sg. If the group ends up at level 20 at the end of the night, please don't show up next week at level 25.
If you're a few levels behind due to playing less, don't sweat it, but try to catch up on your own or with a task force if you can.
We play 8 pm eastern on Wednesdays.

I'll be there. Be sure to download and install yesterday's patch, everyone.

Too bad the Holiday event preview isn't still going tonight... we could make DC farm for candy canes.

Picked up the Doctor's Ally mission (badge) for the 35-40 range if anyone wants that tonight... guess you'll have to be lucky enough to be on a team with me, I guess. Heh.

And better late then never this week, eh?

Target level looks to be around 38, going to have to level / wait for people to level to see how things are.

Team Hamster was pretty much Team Defender. Didn't have much problems outside of DE. Team hated to go after the drops. Plus the lack of strong aoe'rs made taking down the hordes of drops (most of the spawns were WAY too LT heavy) annoying.

I've always hated DE drops. Wish their summoning was at least interruptable.

Yeah, I think the issue was more AOE damage. There were a ton of those darn things being dropped all over, and it takes my guy about 3-4 of this attacks just to drop one. Not to mention the issues with targeting the things in a sea of enemies.

Hehe, it's fun using my Defender novaish power. Sure, it's not as strong as a Blaster's, but I like the disorient that comes with it, and I can't usually drop that many foes at once, so it made feel semi-powerful.

And Madame Pistachio has to stop hating on Liquefy! I noticed it instantly when I placed Liquefy facing those DE, and there were a few times where I (or some others) died pretty quick when it ran out.

(and I'm just teasing, MP. I wish Liquefy had a better ability to keep foes in its patch, but hovering over it/placing it where mobs are already works pretty well)
