I am putting forth an official proposition to stop talking about this, clear our heads for a few days, and continue this conversation starting on wednesday.
Posting when you're angry will only lead to bad things.
I understand the viewpoints of both teams involved, and understand why both teams are pretty pissed, but I am asking nicely for everyone involved to just take a few days to cool off.
0utcazt, please do not withdraw from the ladder until you have had a few days to think about it. People often make rash decisions while they're angry, and often regret those decisions.
There is no need for a new league, and I PROMISE you, if a second league forms, neither league will work out in the end. If we're barely sustaining one league, there is absolutely no reason a second league would work. Even if the rules are "better", even fewer teams will show up and 3 team leagues are no fun, as demonstrated by the test ladder. -

*EDIT* As stated above, hibernation is a choice that people like alot for defense. If you are planning on doing zone pvp this may be the way to go. If you are doing arena, i would go scorption shield. Hiber only delays the inevitable.
In arena, if you hiber they aren't gonna stand there and wait for you to come out, because they have limited time, whereas in zone players have as much time as they want, and plenty of stalkers will just hiber camp you.
Have you ever actually gone in zone before? -
Is it broken in PvE as well? That would determine how long until it gets fixed

I can see requesting a few rule changes that didnt fit or make sense but to now ask for the event to take place on a different night seems to be pushing it a bit. She is the host, she set the event to take place when it was most convenient for her to be able to monitor the matches and be available should problems arise. Everyone knew going in when they joined. If the night was a problem, im asking, why even join.

Sure, we have been requesting lots of rule changes but there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. No ruleset is ever perfect from the get-go. Hell, look at the US COnstitution, which is widely regarded as one of the greatest documents to be written, yet it has been amended 27 times to date.
All in all, if changing the rules does not hinder the host in any way, and the majority of captains approve, then there is absolutely NO REASON not to change the rules. And if Kat needs help taking lineups some nights, then I or any other pvpec rep could take them.
Personally, I do not care either way if the night is changed, but if it helps more people out, then I'm all for it. -

Figure if it's on test, more people can participate (Whats the test capacity btw?), and itd be a more even playing field since everyone would get an uber build, and it would be based on skill a bit more than on live. I understand why freedom could make more sense for you though. Just my two cents.

Any chance you could move this to test server? I'd like to participate but something tells me my un-IOd fire/regen on freedom might not do too well.

I think fire, earth, mind, and grav can all work with mind probably taking crown for best all around. Earth definitely comes in a close second, very debateable as to which is better for team play. For secondaries /fire and /energy are runaway favorites. Fire has the better sustained DPS while energy gets power boost making it better at setting spikes. Ive seen every secondary but /earth and /ice work though.

If Luxun is correct (Not saying you aren't cause I don't know), it seems like the initial -resistance (In your case melt armor) wouldn't do a huge amount, but then the sonic attacks after that would help quite a bit.
