Not saying it'd be a really big part of the overall revenue....but their "PvP Revenue" would certainly go up. And PvP is a big marketing draw.

You're looking for a pvp build, or a pvp io farming build? If youre just afk farming with it you dont need a build - just put rez on auto with 3 rech IOs.

Yeah it could be pretty good. I've always thought electric is an underrated set. Especially in zones with all the end sappers.
Get impale, char and fire blast and have a fully ranged toon I'd say. Occasionally go in to hit someone with barb swipe.
And you wouldn't be a regin. -
The reason they don't do anything with PvP is because they don't make money on it. Or at least very little. What the head developers fail to realize, is that the CoH PvP engine is an absolutely fantastic PvP setup. It just has.....a few rather large problems. If they tweaked it to eliminate these problems (Heal Decay, travel suppression, some DR adjustments), then the PvP would be among the best of all MMOs.
Also, I don't think they realize that if they made these changes, their revenue from the PvP community would skyrocket, and it would provide completely renewable, never-ending, never-repetitive level 50 content with no additional developer attention. -

DR is a tool that gives a lot more flexibility to designers when they are creating powerful effects. Without it, PVP would just come down to who can buff the fastest to get off their killing blow.
I understand a hatred towards DR, as it really does monkeywrench a lot of builds, but it does give the Powers team a lot more flexibility in what they are allowed to create. -

You guys need to specify what builds your PvP charaacters are. There's a big difference between playing a psi/em and an ar/ice.

Elec offers enough survivability that if you're dying, you're doing something very very very wrong, or it's a situation that nobody could live through (several stalkers camping hibe, several blasters keeping you TS'd and chase you into phase, etc). So, if ypu're not dying, then regen doesn't really add much. Elec gives you debuff protection, and you don't have to deal with tryhard droners.

Willpower on a scrapper is absolutely terrible. You can get close to cap on an elec, but with a heal, among other useful tools.

Ice can be good. Get a decent amount of recharge so you have capped hp. Also pick up hiber. Then slot as much ranged defense as you can. Ice I believe has some elusivity so defense will help a bit (Not a ton though so dont expect any miracles)
Stone is terrible. Movement is absolutely necessary. -
