Nice guide! Glad I found it now while finally struggling to properly slot a new build i'm planning out that finally involves uniques and some of the more expensive sets.

Yeah, they're quieter than Freedom and Virtue - I use those servers for my team playing, my heroes on Freedom and my villains on Virtue, even running my own SG and VG on the respective servers. I recently returned to Champion and reset up a base there so that i've got a place to play if F & V grey out. Sometimes I enjoy soloing though i usually can get a team on Champion ii really want one. Not sure as i'm try a tf or zone event on one of the quieter servers - not without a decent group and/or coalition suuport.

You can certainly use the refer-a-friend to add a new game account to your own Master account. I've done it a couple of times. You can also use the invite-a-friend-back system to reactivate one of your expired accounts (if it's been inactive for more than 90 days).

Though I thought those were higher level than something that would con gray to a level 11 Tanker. After that we followed a couple of survivors to the site.

The first for me...though I used Doc for my only Doctor character - long since deleted. Doc Maelstrom an MM Robotics/Storm mad scientist type. Maybe i'll bring him back after GR goes live!

Ah, I see i've come along just in time to follow some doom and gloom. Too bad it's not going to be in as I was curious, not that I play my 50's constantly, as I still enjoy the earlier game - maybe because i've only been here for 2 years. I definitely would rather see it done right rather something disappointing being served up. Of course, i'm less sure as to whether i'd be more disappointed myself at playing something less than great or just not interested in hearing the whiners clawing over one another attempting to be the first and loudest in shouting Doom! The latter never gets irritating when taking one of my lowbie characters through it's paces in Atlas.

Damn! Good guide, just wish i'd been paying attention to the forums for the first year I was playing and fumbling my way through on my own! 2 years in now and I have my own solo Hero and Villain bases, the former somewhat more developed...who'm I kidding, way more developed! Wish i'd seen this guide earlier on though, would've saved me a lot of trial and error. lol

You can see your title if you set it to show on mouseover or show always under options > recticle > show title (or something like that I forget the exact wording and not online to check it atm).

Like many others I logged onto Freedom (blueside) last night fully expecting lag. I'd missed out on my villains on Virtue the night before, was sick and completely forgot about the even until afterwards.
The only issues I had [other than the lag] were:
1. The GM's, etc. really ought too have dropped on all the zones at teh same time and more at once (as has already been said). The earlier instances cleared their drops and then descended on the 2, 3, etc. A lot of unnecessary lag could have been eased somewhat.
2. The fact that you couldn't see your title so I (like many others) asked multiple times before asking another if I had the title yet. A small change would've eased a lot of noise the Dev had to wade through.
Still, all in all, I had a lot of fun and at least I didn't waltz, unknowing, into the middle of it in AP like I did last year!
