well...looking at the many different poses of mine that have been made over the years, I'm guessing like all the rest, theme wins. I mean...some poses just don't apply to this genre

well...I drew up a concept...I warned you I had no sketch skill...so I used a very quick paint (I'm at work, so I used what was at my disposal) to create the idea...I actually wanted a different perspective though...kinda angled with the girl looking up at States...but you get the idea

Don't laugh too hard I said I had little sketching skills...I'm an engineer...I see shapes and angles

that's my problem...I have 0, zero, zilch, nada sketch skill (I've tried, all my like hehe)...but concept, story, color I have gobs of talent.
Kinda hoping some talented artist here may take the concept and run with it. Submit it to CoH fansite and likely get some Christmas kudo's from Cryptic, who knows

I have very little sketch talent, my talent lies in color but that's niether here nor there.
As the subject states I have a concept that I would be interested to see what you folks could come up with if you are interested.

The piece title is "I believe in Santa"
It's a picture of Statesman kneeling before a child dressed in rags holding out a large wrapped box with a bow on top.
Statesman is wearing his well known costume except he's wearing a santa hat over his half mask and an obviously fake beard, he is holding in one hand the present and with his other hand, arm outstretched, touching the girls head. The girl is wearing a dress but it is patched and tattered holding out her arms for the present.

What do you think?

I don't post in the art forum much, but I sure do admire the art I see posted I'm guilty of the quick single phrase responses but I will every now and then give "good advise" I hope. I'm not sure... but it was the "early posters" who brought up "gadgets" and how it was indicative of [insert theory] on the part of the devs, not the "later posters".

It wasn't one of the "earlier posters" that brought up Gadgets, it was Castle and that was corrected as a slip of the finger.

I was referring to the flame and venom that is often coming from this forum in the way of words that it's difficult to judge the emotion of. If you say it doesn't happen, then please explain to me why more then 4 posts above me had nothing to do with anything but blasting people and the *wave bye bye* crap. And the "hurry your bus is leaving" c'mon...what was that about? I'm not paper thin and can take the junk, hell, I played college football *snicker* but many others just leave because it gets "cutt throat" in here way to often.

Being friendly and curteous goes a long way in these forums and in game all together.
Please keep that in mind and it will make many feel much more comfortable.

If that's the case your right, my hand does the same thing, however, it's not noticeable that it's a fist, try adding knuckles maybe?

It looks good so far though, other then the chest I'm digging the muscles, I see the color over them and know what you speak of, also...perspective as was mentioned would make a cool pose.
