Like whether fish are supposed to be green and go "woo woo woo".

I do think it's a nifty idea, but if we're going to show EVERY variation on it, we'd be here for MONTHS.

*ponders for a moment, then grins*

Of course, we could make these a bit genericized and REALLY fun by making them something like...

"Everything I Ever Need to Know about CoX, I Learned by Playing [Fill in the Archetype]"

Such as...

"The Defender mantra... 'I am not a tank, I am not a tank, I am not a tank...'" (show a def charging in and getting killed over and over again)

"The Other Defender mantra... 'Everyone loves me.'" (show a def healing everyone, rezzing everyone, etc)

"Masterminds don't need friends, they just make their own."

And so on.

Kinda like the best things and worst things (pros and cons) about playing each archetype.

What sort of storyline are you going for? Character-driven? Location-driven? Something based on in-game events (like my "Incarnate" video)?

I've got a lot of experience with that sort of thing, and am willing to help.

And yes, Aralcox does some absolutely amazing work.

That's coz we're the cool people. But don't let it get you down, I think we're kind of all feeling the effects of a negative surge right about now - seems to be happening to a lot of folks I know for absolutely no reason at all.

Three things.

First, I am getting myself a copy of that song. I had no idea that someone had released a song (and a GOOD one at that) that so encompassed the mentality of one of my villains on Justice (Soulsteel, Bots/Dark MM with one of my favorite backstories to date).

Second, ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC WORK, Ash. Truly. This one is your best.

Third... I am now horrendously depressed. Someone has just raised the bar high enough that I'm wondering how I'm going to hit that. (But at the same time, I'm stupidly proud that I hang out with folks who are that talented.)

There's another thread here in the forums where Leandro talks about having changed the size of stuff to make it more visible - presumably you can do the same thing with a character to make him uber-big.

With luck, he'll spot the thread and respond - right now, I'm on my way out the door otherwise I'd find it for you.

It's almost funny... the whole Mission Designer thing suddenly has me remembering when D&D's Unlimited Adventures came out and people were designing maps and missions and whatnot and uploading those. Talk about a blast from the past...

And personally, when they update the base designer, we need to be able to put realistic stuff in the bases - piles of laundry, overflowing trash cans, stacks of pizza boxes, refrigerators, kegs... you know, the IMPORTANT things!
