    Just tested and:

    FoN has 0 mez protection.
    A domi needs one hold to hold thru FoN+acrob
    A troller needs one hold to hold thru FoN+acrob
    A blaster needs two holds to hold thru FoN+acrob
    A blaster needs two holds to hold thru acrob alone
    A stalker can 2 shot a FoNed blaster
    A blaster can 4-5 shot a FoNed blaster
    A tanker can 4 shot a FoNed blaster

    Err no. Snow storm is too good to be skipped (shame there's no powerboost in /elec tho), and FoN only has S/L resistance, doesnt avoid you being mezzed, and the endurance crash is [censored], too. Hibernate is much better in pvp than FoN too, imo

    Yup i guess that's up to playstyle. I don't find much a use for nukes in pvp, apart from TS. Animation is way too slow, it has to be in melee distance and the cooldown is way too painful. Besides the dmg is not that great, and you can use a full chain in the time it takes to activate the nuke. Ofc, in some situational big team pvp it can have its uses
  6. It's a pain trying and building a pvp em regen mainly for the amount of goodies both sets have (and need), but here are some tips.

    Drop the slots in energy punch. Its dmg sux and you will have BS as a filler (tho its dmg sux too, but not as much)
    You need a second travel power or webnades will mean u r dead. Besides hasten is great.
    Add a 6th slot to AS.
    If you want to scrapp I'd switch the third acc for a rech in ET, and for endrdx in TF.
    Stun is redundant when pretty all your attacks have stun as a side effect, but dealing damage.
    Tp foe is great on em/stalkers for the reason above.
    Health is arguably a waste on a stalker, due to the low hp stalkers have. Slotting health is a waste, and that not arguably.
    You need concealment for pvp no matter what. Phase shift is also very recommended.
    Although PPs generally suck, Mako's tornado is brilliant. It doesnt break hide, it chases potential foes, stuns, kbs... and detoggle chances. It's never fun enough seeing a regen scrapper losing integration and being kbed (or a pff/force bubble hugger for what that matters). Use the the epic hold when he is kbed and its pretty much game over
  7. Ener/Elec is not the best combo for pvp, but too late to start again me thinks . Blasters are prolly my achilles heel in pvp, but this is how i'd play mine for lv50:

    1 endrdx is more than enough, and you will only need it to cast containment quick.
    I personally think Okt's build is really good for pve, but I'd try and fit hasten much earlier, and swap hot feet's acc for a third endrdx (dunno the hard numbers about its base acc, but i find it rarely misses as it is), and would pick aid self.

    Now on that we agree. Cages were overpowered as they were for pvp, it's fine they nerf them. Thing is, there are more powers that are overpowered too. I also think that a counter would be better than simply reducing it's time tho. Giving caging/phase resist to some power in a not common build, to have it revamped, would be much better imo

You also seem to think that AS is a stalkers inherent, which it isnt. They can still quite comfortably get a guranteed crit from hide no matter how many CM are around.

    Both cases on afk peeps i take? what is the opposite team supposed to be doing while the domi keeps on spamming holds on and on? specially when they can 2shot it. About stalkers, AS is really rare in team pvp, not for CMs but for the movement. On monday nights i use it only on peeps that are close to me and use TF without kiting, which happens once every 4 games. You say I seem to think AS is the stalkers inherent, nevertheless you seem to think stalkers' inherent is invis/stealth+hide which is not.

    there are maybe 5 or 6 empaths in this game that can keep casting cm on team mates while coming under heavy fire. if u cant work out to attack the emp then thats ur problem but i severly doubt its worth nerfing a power based a few very good players

    5 or 6? You should try and pvp with some other people than the same old good faces. If you think it's hard to play an empath in team pvp, go try a non empath troller

    CM is the only power that can negate three of the inherent AT powers (hide, containment and domination), and also the main characterictics of trollers and domis primaries. Such a powerful power also can be granted from long range, has a fast recharge, doesn't have to hit and can be perma stacked. Enough for me to need a 'tweak'.

    It doesn't negate them in any way, just makes their job a little more difficult. I was keeping a team of 4 heroes perma stacked up with 3 or 4 CM in Sirens a few nights back and the villains team of 2 doms and 2/3 corruptors were regularly stacking holds over that so it can't be that diffcult to do.
    Same goes for hide, it's only as big of a problem as you suggest if the stalker is completely reliant on AS, and if you pick up invis you can only be seen at 10 yards no matter how many CM you have.

    Why stacking 2-4 cm when u can stack 20+ of them? And it does negate those inherent, which doesn't mean those ATs can only get kills with them, as you pointed out on the stalker example. Just like a scrapper doesn't need a critic to get a kill, but there is not a power out there that can prevent critics from scrappers, or defiance from blasters, for instance.

    A stalker can get invis and be unseen unless at very close range, true, but he won't be able to attack either. With hide+stealth it will be seen from miles away.
    A dominator can stack multiple holds, but would never be able to hold thru cm stacked at its best, even if the target is standing and no one is harrasing the dominator. That goes for trollers too.
