  1. I would always stop farming for some pvp fun too
  2. Ok, then make it 50k (each turret) x 7 (pillboxes) x 4 (turrets each pillbox) x 4 (times you can do it in an hour) = 5.6 million an hr, npcs and drops apart, provided that you just stand still the 5 minutes it takes to reset the zone
  3. Well each turret gives like 88k inf each iirc (not completelly positive tho, and I'm not at home atm to find out) at lv50, and you can have farm the zone completelly in about 10-12 mins soloing on a kin.
    So 88 x7(number of pillboxes)x 4(turrets per pillbox) throws something like 2.5M inf the first 12 mins, plus 5 mins downtime (that you can spend farming NPCs for extra inf or not) and then 10 more minutes for yet 2.5... So I guess that, not farming while downtime, you get like 5 million each 30 mins, so that means roughly about 10 million an hour if you solo
  4. You can also farm NPCs while the zone is resetting, but you get even more inf/xp teaming with two other fellows and buffing their heavies too (let alone if it's other 2 kins)

  6. Although I know it's a popular choice, I don't think Ill/Kin has a good sinergy (melee buffs and heals, ubbuffable decoys, ranged pet) Although theya re both so great separately that they make up.
    Illusion has best sinergy with rad, emp or storm, imo.

    That only works vs a standing bubbler, and who doesnt have aid self.
    I wouldn't try and get a quick kill vs a bubbler on a elec/nrg blaster, my first option would be try and drain him (force+dispersion are two really heavy toggles I can tell you), so instead of trying kiting with TF I would try and kite with powerboosted short circuit, while trying to avoid being cornered.

HEroes being stronger than villains, having better sinergy among themselves, being many more than villains, and heavies -besides the silly amount of NPCs around- are IMO the main reasons why people who want some PvP ignore RV (I'm often there myself, mainly on a villain, tho, it makes things more fun )
  18. The main problem in RV is heavies and the nuts number of npcs that kinda cripple the idea of any PvP at all. Many sets are severely harmed (rads, bubblers, stormies...) and some others severely enhanced (kins and empaths). Besides the difference of 50s in CoH and in CoV is plain to see, and thus heroes usually outnumber heavily villains, add to that that epics are much better than PPPs and well, think u get the idea

    The main reason why I didnt consider scramble toughts was will domination. It also mezzes thru acrob from a huge distance, and combined with TK blast you can use WD + TK blast + a full attack chain while he is getting up again. Not saying SC is a bad power (I would never understimate mez powers, thus I mainly trollers), but in this case I don't think SC is necessary

    Thing is I still think yor build would need CP on prolonged fights, mainly as you didnt slot AM on endmods. You rely on +recv from sets alone which is cool, I rely on +recharge to get all the end I may need from a close to perma AM (letting alone rech and dmg buffs) with 3 endmods and a close to perma hasten (which grants CP -and debuffs and attacks- way more often)

    That would be cool, if you don't mind, even if it's just to see how much it would affect the overall build (some possible calculations with AM perma and its dmg and rech buffs would be great too, if that was possible )

    I got a lvl 42 Ill/Sonic Troller. I enjoy playing him, but he is a weak PvE build. He is good in PvP but I don't like PvP. Guess I have to get him to 50 anyway.

    Ill/Emp is fun but gets boring in the high levels...
    Ill/Kin is pretty fun until about 40-50 where you get a bit bored with it...

  23. Problem with NB and MA (and also claws and spines) is that smash/lethal dmg is hugely resisted even by squishies at high levels, making them dependant on AS to get a kill. Ma has stuns, which can help... but so does EM and it's base dmg is far greater.
    DA would be my second choice after EM for that reason
