Basically the same for me - but I use stealth in sprint with a fly IO in Fly - Then chain Jump Pack and Steam Jump together for infinite 87.5 MPH.

Quote:I read that and I hear my own voice screaming "OH GAWD MAI BLUE BAR!".I have made Presence Pool work on only one toon: a fairly exotic Dark/Dark scrapper built around fear - Touch, Cloak, Intimidate and Invoke Panic. And it is a load of fun seeing basically *everything* nearby cowering as you drub them into the ground. But that fun probably comes at the expense of overall efficiency. But for me, fun > efficiency most of the time.

Kinda my point - and the extended tutorial just makes me angrier - DFB assures none of the new players will run these arcs, meaning the only people running them are players interested in the badges - It's a pain to run these repeatedly - I almost feel like making a level 2 capped mission just for grinding to 10 or 20 rather than run ANOTHER DFB.

Quote:Divine Core Oscillation - It does 321 of unresistable damage every 2 or 3 seconds (stacking) so any toon can solo the AVs in the mission. Using only Brawl. The big thing missing from the Freem that you get in the first mission in the Incarnate unlock arc that we haven't gotten yet, is some sort of DoT that is added to any aura that affects your enemies.
So, I wouldn't be surprised to see something like this somewhere down the line. -
Quote:But, SHINY!I half wonder if the next innovation in trial mechanics will be glowies that do nothing but automatically fail the trial if someone clicks one. That would be the logical progession in "challenge" from what was introduced in MoM and TPN.

Quote:My TW/WP on beta has QR, Stamina, Superior Conditioning, and Physical Perfection all tricked out with a performance shifter proc, Agility T4 Core, 2 End Mod IOs (level 50) in all but Physical (which is slotted with heals) AND he has a Panacea proc that I got by rolling some converters on a couple Jav. Volleys. And He can STILL run through his blue bar if I don't get lucky. End Redux in the AoEs (ESPECIALLY Arc of Destruction) is important (My beta toon has Eradication for energy/negative defense), that's why I went TW/Elec on live (Energize and Cardiac).I'm working on IOing my lvl 50 TW/WP brute and I'm not sure about endurance. TW can be an endurance hog and normally I'd leave at least one slot in each toggle for an endurance mod enhancement, but do I really need them if I have Quick Recovery, Stamina, Superior Conditioning, and Physical Perfection all maxed out for endurance mods?

I turned off exp on my Fire/Ice Tanker at 33 for Bronze Rolls so I went with the power that allowed my enrage capped Tanker to go from +300 to +550% Damage. (Insps drop upon entering, but a Tray of 12 reds can cap me and I have 3 purples left over).

I was gonna do a pseudo-snark post about a Dual Pistols/Dark Manipulation/Electricity Mastery Blaster but then saw that 1) you wanted Earth, and 2) You decided already.

Quote:The only plus side to that was the easy access to the Legacy Chain Gladiators and Longbow for kills - now I might just unlock Kristof Jager BEFORE outlevelling him.Longbow that you can blow up and drive out - it's more dynamic than before.
But probably not - I see no real reason to play redside anymore since I've done all the arcs. -
Combined, my Blaster and Brute have more than 2000 hours (my next highest clocked value for a video game was Pokemon Diamond with 424 hours), and are the only toons I've been working on giving Royal Flushes for (T4 in all 5 incarnate powers - my blaster has two Alphas and Destinies, both T4).
However, A Blaster and a Brute do not work for all situations, so I've been working more on my newer characters (including my new Brute: TW/Elec). -

He's got a point though - going through all 8 arcs on my Ill/Time Controller (Even Level, Bosses Enabled, fought most of the stuff) I got 5 levels - going from 22 to 27 (Experienced WAS in effect the entire time, BTW) from the 30 odd missions - despite enemies that were far more frustrating than other things I could be doing. Personally I found the story just went off the rails about the time you ran cerulean's arc to end, so I wasn't even satisfied from a lore perspective. Giving 2 merits is a cop-out because it's a placeholder value the Devs give it in beta, and then never change to a more appropriate value.

Also IMO a strong possibly of a Nemesis Plot is coming at the same time see Mender Silo's speech when you meet him in the ouro introduction:
Quote:The knowledge that you (remember Silos IS Nemesis) single handedly ruined your planet's fate would drive anyone to take steps not to repeat themselves.Character. I am glad to finally meet you, or re-meet you in this case.
My name is Mender Silos, and I am over one million years old. I come from the future, near the end of time itself. I created Ouroboros so that we could have a centralized location to try and mend the past.
I am sure Lazarus told you about the Carbon Law, and the tethers we from the future have. Of course, I am far beyond my tether, but this wouldn't be the first law I have broken. I have been planning this for a very, very long time.
This threat... in the near future, I call it the 'coming storm.' Earth will be attacked by it, and will be unable to defend herself due to extenuating circumstances. I plan on changing that. The first step in eliminating this storm is to remove its scouts from a point in your near future. If you would be so kind as to go forward in time and help Mender Lazarus. Once they are defeated, Ouroboros will begin charting the causality wake to determine the outcome upon your time stream. -
Quote:Ayers RockWhat is Ayers Rock? I can't find anything mentioning it on Paragonwiki, and google doesn't turn up any CoH-related results either.

My Money (by which I mean when this pack was revealed [before we found out it was free at launch] this was the amount *I* would be willing to pay) was on 200 points. 800 for the set seemed reasonable with a 200 add on (since these were nice additions IMO).

Quote:...I'd post a Facepalm or Not Sure if Serious picture here. If I had one. Or was sure which one would be correct.Coming Storm is definitely Rularuu. Shivans are harbingers of Rularuu (established harbingers of an unnamed world-devouring entity, first discovered near Ayers Rock, otherwise known as Uluru - this can't be a coincidence), beings of godlike power are what is needed to fight the Storm and Rularuu is himself a god, Menders have the whole Nemesis connection and Nemesis has a strong presence in the Shadow Shard, the Dream Doctor wrote "Something is coming and I must find out what it is before it's too late" concerning his disappearance to what I believe is the Shadow Shard (called the "Dreamspace," but given the involvement of Ayers Rock I think the similarity of the word to "Dreamtime" might indicate a Shadow Shard connection there) and also calls Rularuu his own counterpart, and perhaps most tellingly there is the presence in the Shadow Shard of things called Storm Elementals and the Storm Palace. Oh, and the Rulu-Shin in the second WWD arc.
Yeah, seems pretty clear to me. -
You know what I was thinking - what if the proc reduced fury degradation instead of boosting fury generation? This way we could maintain a somewhat higher level (By say, not applying the cap until you reach 85-90% fury) without capping entirely? As a bonus, it would make maintaining fury at lower levels easier as well.
