Praetorian Hamidon was outright SAID to be on the agenda by Prometheus after your character completes the UnderGround Trial. PraeHami is next.

I was thinking of suggesting to Synapse that when we respec next the inherent fitness come pre-baked with 2 extra slots in stamina and 1 in Health (and maybe pre-baking slots into the nova/dwarf powers)
Then I remembered that some people dont slot Numina/Miracle/Regen Tissue into health and I said "Nah". -

Quote:Fine - I'll bite and explain how my Light Sensitivity condition works.Do you see what I am saying though - your monitor can only get as bright as how the color white looks to you, like if you hit 'reply' for example on this forum, you should see a white text box you can type in. If you have 5 white text boxes, and it hurts your eyes, you might need to adjust your monitor settings. It isn't the game - rather it is the gamma settings/contrast/brightness etc and even the environment's light level where the monitor sits.
Ever had those drops put into your eyes for tests that cause your pupils to dilate? And how you need sunglasses to see normally for a few hours after that?
Now imagine if someone's pupils were like that all the time. In my case, my pupils are slightly wider than normal - causing my eyes a great deal of discomfort. If I'm looking at something like Wikipedia that has a uniform white background, my eyes can compensate by dilating slightly - looking at it for extend periods causes discomfort, however.
In the game, the issue is the DISPARITY between bright and dark - I can't just crank my gamma because while it makes bright graphics more tolerable, it makes dark environments impossible to see - this is why the environment in UGT sets me off - both dark and bright together is impossible to handle.
EDIT: I'm going to try messing around with my CCC to see if I can work around the issue. -
You can't - hitting even a single target crashes your endurance by 100% - it was changed in i5 because people were using nukes for farming and they wanted to make sure no one ever took them again.

Quote:One person doesn't set it off - it's when 4 or 5 people have it on. Also when some jerk colours Freezing Rain/Sleet bright white. If it is too bright, you want to alter your monitor/gamma settings. If you can't read text on a white background, say, like Wikipedia, then yes, it is too bright. If it is NOT too bright to read Wikipedia, then Super Speed's obnoxious brightness bringing migraines is all in your head - honest.

Quote:My bad. Missed the (Recharge: Fast) thing on the power.Dollars to doughnuts that since Rad Armor got voted in at the Summit and is also thematically a melee armor set with PBAoE debuffs, that Bio armor will go through some fairly significant changes from what was previously seen. If it hasn't already.
Also the stalker version of Genetic Contamination was still a toggle, not a click, it just traded the damage aura for a sleep. -
Actually come to think of it I might have to skip this power set - Running max Particle count gives me migraines due to Super Speed's obnoxious brightness.
-
It predates it, but only by a single issue (Croatoa was i5 (end of August, 2005) and CoV was i6 (end of October, 2005)).

I hope he'll show up soon. I really don't to have to stoop to doing Maria Jenkin's arc to get Multidimensional on my Brute.

Quote:The RWZ arcs can help you if you were willing NOT to use them before that range. I've gotten 4+ bars from Gaussian's story arc bonus alone. If -anywhere- in the game needs new content desperately it's the 40-50 range. All roads lead to Peregrine and Grandville. And given how much XP it takes to get to 50 it can be really easy to go through -all- the available contacts, even including in Cimerora and the Rikti Warzone.

Quote:Word of warning - Bio seemed like a middle ground between regen and will power (Even mix of clicks, toggles, and passives for the non-stalker version).I'll be remaking this character into a DM/biotic scrapper. don't like regen anymore and bio seems like a particularly good fit for an evolution of his powers.

Sister is getting a revamp in i23. We're probably getting a revamp of Synapse soon after that.
-
I didn't think Striga or Croatoa were that bad...
-
I was under the impression we were getting new pay-for sets every month or two so I'm betting one or more will be out before i24.
-
Wait wasn't there that one movie where Superman posed as Batman so no one got suspicious when Bruce Wayne had been kidnapped (I *think* by Brainiac)?
-
The 2B cap is a hard cap. It can't be increased, so we slammed into it last year until converters came out.
-
If you're a scrapper, go with Resistance. If you're a Brute, go with HP. If you're a Tanker it's a coin-toss.
On the other hand, if you're slotting Impervious Skin or Doctored Wounds, go with HP for all 3 - you only get around 1.5 SOs worth of Resistance, while Doctored can slam you right into the red zone of ED. -
It's there. You just have to look around - it's WAAAAY up in the sky - the sunlight causes the shadow to drift significantly.

Quote:Hmm... That explains why it showed up after my WS Nova formed after a nemesis invasion... I just thought it was hasten that did it.There is a graphic glitch that's been around for years, and I've /bugged, but never posted here. When in Nova form on my WS, sometimes there is a ray of light coming out of the center of my form and heading off in a straight line through walls to somewhere. This appears on instanced maps and open zones. The buffs on my character seem to affect the color/thickness of the line. Clarion in particular seems to make it exceptionally visible. The line is visible to other characters - not just on my client.
