    idk dude, with my build, and fury topping out, my dmg%+ is way higher, my defenses are higher, and with all the AOE's plus my high recharge i wont be without a power to use ( ie no downtime), and no downtime means low damage taken. so who needs heal more than every 11 seconds...

    well i slot for S/L b/c this has been my main toon for a while, he doesnt just chill in AE... so it helps with survival out of AE, the 5 slots on the shields were for the IO set bonuses for +Def , on the procs in healing, yeah, i was still looking into that, gonna shift them to heal, and figure out what to move around... in terms of actually using the heal in the farming times, the only time i ever use the heal is for if i need to go AFK, or if my dumb *** endurance drops the toggles.

  5. So while i was on beta i was playing around making lvl 50 toons of some things i might wanna make, and the one that really stuck with me was ice/cold/ice. was trully a lot of fun for me to play interrupt the enemy on trials.

    Long story short i went on Mids and this is what i came up with. i was suprised at the stats it was showing me, for a troller, w/o having vengence active.

  6. one or two purple sets isnt breaking the bank. Toon is going to be mostly Common IO's..

    Personally, i still plan on keeping flash arrow in the build. I like it , and i seem to see a difference when its added to the mix.
  7. So, im really loving the TA set, seems to be so successful at being a big helper even when its unslotted and facing enemies +2...

    All my other toons are no holdem limit builds, but i want to try and and keep this toon as low cost as possible, yet be capable of making a big difference in team atmospheres.

    Over the next few days im going to be working on the build, posting stuff as i go. Hopefully some of you will contribute some tips to different things i have to say...

  8. after talking to some ppl in RV, they advised to add Thunder Strike to the build, said besides using Assassin, my other big combo is Shark/TS repeated combo
  9. So, i've been playing in PVP a lot as of late, and i really wanna throw all my eggs in one basket. I have several toons that im willing to strip and sacrifice to make this build. Plus work on the the JACKPOT IO's over time. This is gonna be my new main toon, badge toon, etc.. I already got him to 50 and unlocked the Patron. So just trying to work out the logistics of the build...

  10. the invis sets were just for LOTG mules like i said, and the aid other and self were to place regenerative tissues, a lot of the set chioces are to help speed the toon up. So that he can actaully move around in the map w/o the need for using teleport.... and can be useful w/o sb.

    Atlas Crash...

    So, i know most of Freedom didnt experience this, but for anyone in Atlas Park at 1030pm EST experiences it.

    With huge amounts of AE going on, tons of ppl in WW, and a huge CC going on, a Rikti raid popped, and the Map exploded. upon re-entry, most of found that there was now an Atlas Park 2...

    In over a year of play, this is the first time i have seen this happen..

    Anyone seen this before?
  14. Ok, so i saw a stone/db tank a few weeks ago, kick some serious butt, and he looked sick doing it. and it got me really wanting to build one, i've had a stone tank that just never worked out. But im seriously wanting to put time and effort into this one. I found this build for a stone/db brute, and im working on adjusting it to fit a tank and for it to be i19/20 ready...

    Any suggestions as to to what to put into the spaces from fitness, etc.. Im thinking of just grabbing some stuff like invis set for LOTG mules.. idk.. got a lot of stuff roling around in my head on this build, figured a few more voices in there wouldnt hurt.

  15. So, i love doing this mission to help my friends lvl up, and do stuff for my SG, but i wanted to do a lil gag and mess with my bud and re-do that exact map but just make the costumes on the enemies look like them...

    I know how to make the enemies, but im having issues getting the map setup. Anyone out there that can help me i'd really appreciate it.

  17. you do know that doing +4/8 on that farm in completly unecessary...

    I run that farm with my Brute on +0/8 (no bosses/no av's) and i kill everything on the map in in a blistering time, and still get the 1500 tickets cap...
  18. So, i was in the same boat as you all. Frustrated with no answers via email from support in a fast manner. Void of answers on the forums that would atleast help me feel like i was being helped..

    I honestly think calling them and actually talking to a human being is the best thing you can do... they are open 12-5 cst, and i didnt even have a wait time, as soon as i hit 1 it dialed for 3 seconds and i was connected to a live person at tech support.

    All my issues have been resolved...
  19. Thank you Tex, as long as everything works out with getting my account verified post-security update for master accounts, i dont care if im using the old updater, i havent had many issues i couldnt fix on my own.
  20. As of 0800 EST i have been unable to get the game to launch from the old launcher, no matter what i do. So i proceeded to stroll over to the forums and see what i could find, i noticed that Avatea had a post stating the following two points, which have me wondering...

    "We will be discontinuing support for the current City of Heroes updater soon so bear in mind that when that happens, customers who have not upgraded to the NCsoft Launcher will be unable to log into the game using the City of Heroes updater!"

    "Question 9: I'm on a Mac. Does the NCsoft Launcher work for that?

    Answer 9: There will be a Mac OS version of the updated NCsoft Launcher. We will be giving you more information on this as soon as possible."




    So, if i understand this, all of using the Mac version of the game are paying to not be able to play now because you have chosen to block login from the previous loader, but fail to give part of your community (no matter how small it may be) the ability to log in to a game that they are paying a monthly fee for?

    I think it would be reasonable to at least have a general time frame of when we can expect this.
