There are a few slight but noticeable differences. On the whirling TE attack while hovering, for example, both legs are straight down, pointed, instead of one bent at the knee.

I'll try a few others to see if it's anything of real note on others - haven't tried all while hovering as yet.

Edit: Just tried the attacks. Most differences seem to be in the positioning of the legs, which is understandable. The upper body and blade positioning seems basically the same.
