Ok, I know this was several days ago and it doesn't really matter, but for historical purposes (and because I love gravity control):

You're half right, in that it was out before Issue 1. However, Game launch was not really considered Issue 1.

Fold Space was still in at launch. However, it was removed on May 11, 2004. Since the official launch date was April 28, 2004, it lasted all of 13 or 14 days (depending on how you count game launch problems, etc).

I didn't start playing until May 17, but I seem to recall Fold Space being listed in my original game manual. I could be horribly wrong about this... 8 years does a number on memory. Plus, I lost my manual somewhere in one of the many moves during that time.

Anyway, not sure that it even applies to the cottage "rule" (heavy air-quotes there), since I'm sure it was slated for removal before the game went live, but it squeaked through.

More on topic, I really do hope they can keep the Dual Pistol animations the same but faster. Not that it would stop me from playing it if they altered them some, but I personally like to keep the "feel" of the powers I'm using.

For instance, when they sped up Propel from Gravity Control, the power became far more useful. Game-wise, it was nothing but a buff. Still, sometimes when I pay attention to it, I miss the whole "arm fling" as you propel the object forward. It feels different, and makes me slightly sad. Again, not enough to stop throwing large cement gargoyles at villains heads, but enough to make me .

This might have something to do with it, but I always assumed it was also the fact that there are Seers in the IDF. The secondary effect of psychic blast powers is that they slow your recharge rate. So without taking out the doors, there's more seers around. And the secondary effect isn't really affecting normal attacks much, but on a power with a 15 minute recharge, it's going to be much more noticeable.

It's probably a combination of the recharge rate reduction and server lag. I could be entirely wrong, though.

If only it had been fixed before the patch that was pushed yesterday went Live. It wasn't like SOME OF US didn't /bug it while it was still on test. One day of delay on yesterday's patch would have saved everyone from 2 mornings of down time.

I'm feeling too lazy to dig up the post, but either BABs or Castle said that this bug was tricky because it couldn't be reproduced in-house with the build they were testing with. Somehow, something in this one particular build caused the bug to trigger, and stopped triggering when they updated their internal builds. So you have a bug that can't be reproduced by QA or programmers, and which is build-specific. Maybe, just maybe, that's why it took them some time to get it sorted out?

    Here you go.

They may have just decided to push the next build live since it apparently fixed, or rather stopped triggering, the bug.

Of course, it's easier to complain and ask questions over and over than it is to actually look for an answer that's already been given. Just an observation. (not directed at you, Goliath)

    Another clarification if you please.
I understand the 1 cager per team, but, let's say a dominator is the cager, what if a necromancer's Lich were to use Tenebrous Tentacles?
Or if a chance to hold proc in a power were to go off?
Would these count as breaking the rules, given that, to an extent, they're beyond the users control?

Cages are specific powers. What you're thinking of are controls/mezzes.

    -the- cages:
    Black Hole
    Gravity Distortion
    Sonic Cage
    Detention Field

    ... i think thats it

Just wanted to point out that Gravity Distortion is the single target hold. Dimension Shift is the foe intangible in Gravity Control.
