Seconded, still cant see any rational point for hero vs hero combat.

Arctic Air also adds confusion, so that, ice slick and Ice Sword Circle are a winning combination. Chilblain (though I'm not getting it) would be usefull for the -fly, but would still stop people falling over on your slick.

I amazed there is a set with a weaker def than SR, I was going to be EN, but in the end decided the animation for the shields anoyed me and switched to inv, not wanting anything too obtrusive to draw attention from the large stone mallet.

Mace is the only weapon I feel we need that we dont have. More smash to it than is let on.

As far as I can tell arctic air does nothing for domination, but it slows what you're fighting. So though you gain domination slower from your powers, those you are fighting also fight slower.

The imo's in ice I never take, cause they stop the knock down of Ice slick, so am with you on that. Your attacks do build up domination though. Hit them with that sword and watch the bar move.

Oh, back on topic then, OK. Well I dont think it will effect the pet, as its a self buff, as mentioned by Max.

I'm working fine with the ice set, I'm not building domination as quickly as the plant doms I know, but I believe I have stronger melee attacks which kind of makes up for it. It may not be the uber build but it has a very nice feel to play.

The benefit to SR IMO is quickness & PB. Its nice that the status resist isn't a toggle, cause if they do manage to break it, then it's a power that doesn't go down. Which means less likely hood of the chain mez situation. Quickness just adds enough speed with swift and sprint that you can leg it when your defences fail on a daily basis without too much fear of being caught

My Rad/Rad build cant solo, well unless its freaks and I take it slow. Best solo build used to be FF/Energy, but its probably Trick Arrow/* now, as its got control, debuffs and doesn't really rely on anyone else.

that said Dark/Dark is always a good choice and at higher levels having a pet puts it way ahead of the others for solo play.

I'm not taking one cause I dont like the primary sets, I like two of the secondries but without a visually stunning primary I'm not interested

He has hold too, but I will have Greater Ice Sword

Oh the only reason I wasn'ton last week is due to my holiday I was out of date and I couldn't be bothered to gove over my friends house and copy the up to date version when I knew a DVD was coming this week with it on.

I was going to be a Stone/Ice brute at first, but that got taken away. I thought about En but when I realised I couldn't have the def with the cool graphics I might as well have res instead.

I'd probably say EN/DA will be a nice combination. In general /da brutes will be strong. En and SS both have good attacks for building up fury quickly, which is another key thing IMHO.

Of course I am ignoring this advice completely, but I dont really set out to play the "best" combination.

Yeah I'll still be around the guild from time to time, but the pull of CoV is strong. If you get a lot of interest let me know and I'll move Lady Discord out to just leave Schro in the guild, dont want to be taking up too much space there if you need it.

Of course we all look forward to the day when Uni becomes managable and you're on CoV with us too capt.
