  1. Its always a shame to lose good people. Glad you kept Stone, if you ever decide to come back to villains and find yourself in need of inf for him give me a yell
  2. Weathergirl's a Pleasure girl......... err Its more a work in progress at the moment
  3. I remember all the inf runs pre I7, figured you might have a bit there. I joined a couple to fund the Christmas party for the villain side, and a tonne of alts.

Frost Wolf retired, Addiction gone and Fortress too now. Flick left ages ago as well. At least we had some good old days though eh?
  4. Good insult? Will work on it, but Boston's a very odd word to rhyme with
  5. Sorry to hear you're leaving, I think I might have teamed with Fortress in the past.

Best of luck finding people who need it
  6. Sorry for dropping off early, I had to get in early today to decorate someone's desk in work. If I'd known the weather and an accident on the M27 was going to make her late I'd have stayed at least a mission longer
  7. So the plan for next week is finish Synapse and then do the costume/cape missions? I will respec before then and get the salvage to myself for the halloween costume too
  8. I'm very cynical about their research methods. Before the "smoking causes cancer" result test groups would have to be much higher than that to show something conclusive. So I shall remain a cynic
  9. Same plan as every week. Synapse *chuckle*

Will be playing from home on PC (though had a text telling me laptop was finished cant get there during the week)
  10. Well done mate, you deserve it.

And yeah those couple of weeks were insane
  11. I like both Fire sets for a brute, so I would say good choice
  12. Along with the Lich and the Ghosts use of holds and my two I find the hold slotting usefull for natural EB fights (IE not AVs that have been downgraded) If I summon him on the EB he uses the hold first, then with my holds and the ghost and lich cycling the EB will remain static. Of course this relies on him cycling his hold, but it comes around often enough to make a difference.

With my merc/Dark I wont be slotting for holds, will probably go for 1 Acc, 3 Rec, 2 Immob becuase it will be my only source of Imob on that alt other than me and I like stacking them

    In a nutshell...

Yeah. I've not heard many teams above level 30ish say "We need an empath" unless fighting Psionic mobs.
It's still all-too-common in the Hollows though!

The other thing to take into account is the stretch of AVs in the 40s... my /regen felt very squishy when in melee range of them (he managed but it was tricky) but I'd bet a SR could survive with minimal support.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Trouble with SR vs AVs is being two shot, when the streak breaker kicks in. Of course now I have Aid Self and I didn't at the time. The only AV where I think I had more trouble than the regen I Duo'd with 40+ was Countess Crey, cause of bad luck only her high damage attack would hit me.

I do have a DM/Regen at 35 as well, and yeah the general survivability is higher. I found DM/SR to be more exicitng to play though and retired the regen. I also like the ability to stand infront of AVs and laugh as they flail wildly, but that's probably a personality flaw
  14. With pets its very handy keeping him perma, as they tend to split into two groups, one runs in, one hangs back. He likes to hang back too so he can heal the pets that dont run in
  15. I went 3 recharge, 1 acc (which flaws everything in PvE I believe) and 2 hold
  16. Am hoping to play next week

    In a nutshell...

There's some trick in your question there MaX, I just know it.

Until the late 30s and early 40s (post int) regens only really die if they make a mistake. SR always has the tohit rolls and can die at any time. 30-35 is painful with SR, 35 onwards is a delight
  18. With two interupts you can use it in between damage ticks. That's fairly good
  19. Caltrops, Thorntrops and er Icetrops make your pets do stupid things, same ways the burn patches do.

One of my pets is a bit daft though, while the others switch to the nearest foe he tends to vomit on the furthest he can reach and then run in. On the plus side, I get a ghost every now and then
  20. I slot brutes for damage, but they're the last slots that go in. Mostly its nice for your big hitting ST attacks, which will be the first ones you lay on an AV before the fury builds. Is also nice in the AoEs, as there's no such thing as too much AoE damage

BU can be usefull to overcome a tohit debuff. Thats the only time I use it, but I do use it
  21. Might be playing from Evil Bobs tonight, if so might be a bit late but should still be there before 7pm
  22. Brutes have gauntlet on each foe they hit. Tanks get it for each foe plus 4 foes around them. Not as powerful as the tank version, but enough to draw enough agro to fuel the fury
  23. Hey mate

    Base rent now paid.

There is life without broadband, but I dont expect any of you guys to believe me

    See yers soon mate
