Yes! I love my Dark/Dark Tank and love to play her, I reecently asked for help to beef her up and I think I have the build. Jebe and Finduilias along with others were of great help. You may want to check out my thread " DA/DM Build - Still Trying to Tweak it?"
I have to admit I have gotted tells that went like this:
/tell "hey LFT we need a tank?"
me: Yes thanks.
/tell " Great, are you a stone tank?"
me: No I am a Dark/Dark tank.
/tell " Oh nevermind we need a stone tank."
Then I have had peeps tell me that I am not a real tank!
But, I love this combo and have had no problems as a primary tank, just put Siphon Life on autohit with a +mod end proc in it and you should survive threat level 1-4 mobs on a full team.
Plus the effects are just too cool -
I thought about using the KC proc, and I agree with you that losing the acc/dam is not worth it.
As for the problem of paying for this build - I got three words for you (well, actually 10 words)"...Giant Monsters, Task forces and Oruoboros Mishes" - All yeilding Merits
Prices are ridiculous for recipes, even for the salvage to build the recipes once you buy them. So I will be running alot of TF's for merits and AE mishes for tickets to buy the salvage.
Unless I find 1 billion influence lying around.

I found a way to eliminate those 2 lost : 1.8% end enhancement bonuses and juggled a couple of things around a bit.

I took your suggestions Jebe and Finduilias, I rarely use Dark Regeneration and when I do I usually follow it up with Dark Consumption so I kept the sloting the same. I took Stamina at 20, and rebalanced the 4 slot KC's with an Acc/Dam from another set. I've used CoF and ToF in another build and IMO found the endurance demand of the abilities to be not worth the fear effect. This is a main tank team build, so I am going for damage absorption.
I played with this build a bit in Mids and took the suggestion of replacing Eradication in the PBAoE's. But it bothers me that I gain 3.13% def/1.56% but waste 2 1.8 end bonuses due to the rule of 5! (1 Eradication and Mocking Beratement)
Still trying to tweak this. Maybe slot SM with 5 Scirroco's?

Alright, I think I got a build that I will be happy with - still a bit of an endurance hog. I will depend on my Numina's, Performance Shifter and Theft of Essence to 'hit' for endurance. I tried skipping 'Tough' but, I wanted slots to put my Steadfast Protection: Defense +3% and KB -4 into. I got my defense to S/L up to 49%! I did lose an additional 1.5% (28.1 HP) bonus due to exceding the rule of 5. I might remove one of the Steadfast Protection (res/end) eliminate that slot and place another slot in Stamina to get the 4 set bonus from Performance Shifter (+2.5% recovery).
Since this will be a team build, my acc, dam and to hit do not need to be so high. I will rely on my teamates to blast the baddies as they pound on me

I was going for +damage in the previous build then I respec'd and dropped CoF and ToF for Tough and weave to raise my resist and defense. I am going for a either high resist and/or defense. Which do you think is better? I could sacrifice some of the +damage and raise the resist/defense. I was thinking of adding Cloak of Darkness, but then I would have to drop something else. Do you think CoD is worth it?
I found this build to be good for solo and teaming. I am looking to focus on teaming and would be main tank, so survivability is important for this build. -

I like being 'bubbled' during mishes and not that much when I am hanging out at WW, but either way I would not say anything if I did get 'bubbled'. The dipsersion bubble is not that intrusive either. On the other hand the Cold and Fire shields are just out-right annoying and they slow my system down significantly; not the defender/trollers fault, it is the obtrusive animation. I hate the way Ice Armor looks on my toons and I have asked not to receive this buff sometimes during mishes and definetly when not on a mish or street sweeping.
I feel that the defender/troller is trying to be helpful by 'buffing' random toons, but these (Ice/Fire) buffs are just too damn annoying for me. I hope that the animations are reduced to something less obtrusive in later issues.
Back to the original topic... I think 'bubbles' are the least obtrussive of all the buffs; I bubble team mates and do not bubble them if they request not to be (hasn't happened yet, but if it does...) and I do not bubble random toons.
One solution to this: make all buffs require the recipient to 'accept' or 'reject' the buff the same way you can accept or reject being teleporting and receiving the new Tarot Pack buff via the options menu. This would eliminate the need for toons to request that they not be buffed and toons would not have to keep track of which team mates do not want to be buffed on teams of more then 3-4 members.

I experienced really bad rubberbanding on Liberty during the evening (PST) of June 7-8. It was so bad that at one point in a solo mish, I could not go up stairs in a 'Office' map. I would start at the bottom of the stairs go up and around a corner (about 70'-100' ft - ingame); then suddenly rubberband back to the bottom of the stairs. I kept repeating this hoping the lag would stop. After about 2-3 minutes and about 20 trys, I gave up on it and quit the game.
I logged back in yesterday (Tuesday 06/09) around the same time - same server - same toon. There was no problem finished the mish.
Looking for a really funny and very short mish (lvl 1-50): Look up "Stanley and the Fanatics" - let me know what you think. I hope you enjoy it.

1.) Rating Systems. It seems only fair that those who complete a mission from beginning to end could rate it. If someone drops a mission for whtever reason (boredom, dc or just plan had to go) there would be no rating given.

The items listed would be awesome! For me and my SG mates we would like to see a recipe storage bin, maybe a tech blueprint bin for Tech and an old scroll table for Arcane.

It would be great if we could connect 3 or 4 beacons to 1 teleport pad - the only problem I see, is we would only have the option of 3 beacons and we would have to place them on the ceiling wall - if the TP's are side by side otherwise the beacons would overlap and would cause confusion as to which beacon is associated with which Telepad.
Persoanlly I like to place my Telepads side-by-side and have the beacons left and right of a single stairwell leading up to the telepad. If I had the option of placing 3 or 4 where could I place them?I could not place them below or above the other ones cause they would not fit, I would have to eliminate the stairwell - and it would not look nice (bu it would work) - the same age old problem form vs function.
Any ideas out there? -
