A couple of additional points that came to mind with Veteran's Day near -

This generation usually cant fathom how service members were (mis)treated during the days of the Vietnam conflict. Gotta be proud that our military men and women dont have to dodge stones and insults and hold their heads in shame when returning home after deployments today. That was an extremely ugly period in US history and I hope we never see a repeat performance.

I talk to people all the time about the Army and more times than not, they convey that they wished they had joined when they were younger. I say its never too late to play a part; one way to give back is to volunteer time with one of the many organizations out there that support the troops. It could be done with personal time spent at hospitals etc, organizing basic items/food for deployed personnel (we used to love getting cookies and letters while in Iraq) etc etc. There are so many ways to give back and show your appreciation, you would be amazed at how much even the smallest act means to someone separated from their loved ones and normal ways of life on these year + tours of duty.

Friends, family and loved ones...I want to take some time to say goodbye to some great forum friends. We're not sure how it happened, but they never returned from a scavenger mission that they were sent out on recently with Maggie. They could have been killed by zombies and are roaming around right now as we speak as part of the undead cycle OR been killed, tortured and eaten by some of our more unfriendly human brethern out there that have walked away from the civilized path in these apocalyptic times.

Anyways, dear forumites, put your heads down and say a prayer for:

Saint Peter at the Pearly Gates: "Hey man...zombies finally got you huh? Maaaan, it looked like you and your friends were going to make it, we were all up here cheering for you. What happened...on a supply run, out getting food cuz you were literally starving to death, looking for a more secure place to live?"

recently departed but sexually satisfied spirit: "Ummmmm, yeah, I decided to have sex with this hottie in the heat of the moment in a store. We were out in the middle of nowhere and I didnt even looked around the area first. I guess I deserved it, but duuuuude it was sooooooo good. Best 15 minutes of my life!"

Seriously though...I guess it really is different strokes for different folks. Maggie is mad nice, but If Im going to be eaten by zombies, Id rather be hanging out with Shane and shot in the leg while actually doing something.

Whether it took 15 minutes or 2 hours, I cant see it. Also, have you seen how big that farm is? I doubt anyone would notice either of them missing if they decided to sneak off and get jiggy with it (which Im sure theyre going to be doing from now until they leave the farm).

Thats my 2cents, but I guess Im just the "crazy old guy", based on the responses here.

I agree with the above posters and also put in a vote on the side of buff/debuffs. It always seems like there are more than enough damage oriented toons along with a cpl of Brute/Tankers. I have a couple of Defenders/Trollers that are my main TF toons and when I want to feel more offensive, Ill run with my Huntsman. I havent tried all the VEAT combos, but this one has great team + defense etc #s and a couple of solid debuffs along with the Epic Pool to get even more debuffy with if you want/need.

Getting away from Merle momentarily, I just remembered something that stuck out in my head/slightly bothered me with this episode. Did anyone else find the "love" scene strange? Im also a big fan of heat of the moment, bedroom type activites, but getting it in on the floor of isle #2 of a store with the front windows knocked out and not having (I dont think) cleared the rear entrance/area? If my name was Glenn, Id be happy to be like Marvin Gaye and getting it on with lil ms healthy farmgirl too, but I think I would have opted for the offered sexual healing somewhere on the 200 acres of farm that seem relatively quiet.

I got it, you dont want to be any more disrespectful than you already are to her pops, but if Im going to anyways...Id rather be somewhat safe while showing Maggie my O face. Nothing says 'you absolutely deserve to die' like getting bitten by a zombie(s) while getting your freak on.

sidenote - Is it just me that always finds it amazing when British/Australian/Irish etc actors step on the scene in a US production and sound just like theyre "one of us"? Ive heard Rick and Maggie both do interviews now and theyre very British if Im not mistaken. Jolly good stuff.

What problem specifically are you waiting to correct itself? The social aspect of people leaving the game, friends moving to Exalted or is it something personal?

First thing came to my mind was, "why not just switch server with your friends?"
