  1. Dread, there was definitely someone who melee'd a bomb in the hall.
  2. I targeted through Amy with my mighty boulders of doom, but I think the problem that I might have been partially responsible on is that I got a little gunshy when that mob was there, and while I'm pretty sure that I tossed a rock at that bomb, it may have been a little slower. I wanted to make sure that I was as far as I could be, and I might have been too far.

I was also caught up in lag during our attempt at Avatar Assassin and had an attack queued, but I left after the first attack past "STOP ATTACKING!" There were, I think, four distinct times you said that, and there were people who kept going.

I'm not sure everyone was fully reading League. There seemed confusion in that hallway because some people ran up and started meleeing even after a very good and lengthy description of the 80 foot requirement including time for questions.

It was a good league and a good time, let's just all try to remember next time to listen to and follow the directives of Amy, who's taking the time to walk us through this not for themselves but for the rest of us.
  3. Thanks guys, I really appreciated that. That's actually the fastest ITF I've ever done, and Mo no less. It was great fun. Even if my rust showed a few times.

Ended the night at 1020 after helping some people out with various Giant Monsters and switching to hero alignment. Looking forward to going after as many of the remaining 400 as I can.
  4. Thanks. My current plan is to try once just in general seeing if I can NexusPUG a MoITF when I would normally get on the game tonight, probably 10 Eastern or so, and if not, schedule something in the forum.

Really, this half-thought out message reveals that I was not fully under the influence of coffee yet.
  5. You know, thinking on it, I came to the conclusion that I was entirely too vague as well.

Anyone else need any of these?
  6. Or Lady Grey. Lady Grey would be fine too.
  7. Greetings Champs, @Dark Epitaph here.

My main badger is now at 999 badges, and I wanted to make 1,000 something cool. Originally, I wanted to make it becoming a hero (he started life as a villain), but I realized that I haven't fought Maelstrom yet and could very likely accidentally do that on the way to stepping onto the path of light. So instead, it was suggested to my on Nexus to think about getting a Master of badge. I have none of them.

So, anyone interested in getting together a Master of Lord Recluse, or Master of Imperious, or Master of Fifth Column (redside)? I have incredibly wide open availability, really, just the times from around 2-5 PM EST are truly off limits. If you're interested, let me know. I've got a Stone/Stone Brute who's pretty decently slotted and +1, so my survivability isn't a real issue.
  8. Hey, I just...sort of rejoined the game (I never canceled my subscription, but my video card crapped out two years ago and my participation has been limited since then). But now I have a new PC and life is good. Anyway, I'm just getting my feet wet again and figuring out what's going on, but I love doing Trials and TF's. My main is a stone/stone brute that I'm eventually going to make less villainous to open up options, but I'm still looking forward to trying the DD or BAF soon. Let me know, I'd love to try them if you don't mind me looking vaguely newbish and being pretty underpowered for an Incarnate.

    Congrats!

Blue or red? I think Banisher might actually be easier on red.
  10. I threw out my knee and I am now on a ridiculous amount of oxycodone. It's time to LRSF.
  11. Watched them wipe at Ultimecia...was a little surprised some of them had never played the game before. You'd think you'd want people with experience with the game in question.

I'm more amused by the (paraphrasing) "All my mains are healers, and my team keeps wiping all the time. I tank most of the time."

Well, that would be your problem in a nutshell. If you're trying to do your tanker's job for him, instead of healing, then of course you're wiping. And team wipes show epic failure in either or both the roles claimed.

At least six of my mains are Defenders. (My mains tend to rotate a bit.) Several are Dark Miasma, which has the most powerful AoE heal in the game. (By an admittedly trivial amount.) Oddly enough, none of them are healers, they're all support characters instead. Oh, they heal when it's useful or needed, but that's a fallback for when the far more effective buffs and debuffs aren't enough.

Dark Miasma is excellent at crowd control and herding, but tanking in the sense of grabbing and holding aggro for the team? In my opinion not so much. (With the presence pool it can be somewhat effective.)

But see, that's great for your Defender not to heal...Divine specified the toons in question were "healers". And tankers. And such.

  14. I know Shady/Shrouded works like that, but I was pretty sure Multidimensional didn't.

    Shrug.
  15. I was pretty sure there was an actual marker in the mish you had to run over.

    Kral-Raiden : 50 stone/stone Brute
    Kid Bing: 39 Thugs/Dark MM
Ekim the Strange: 34 Mind/Psi Dom
  17. Yeah, I've noticed some of the info text being different too...mostly with the early ones.

    Heal farms

Pretty sure BMT of Champion still runs one every night. I'm rarely on when it gets announced these days, though.

Personally, Achievement is the tab I worry least about. I hate afk badge farming, and a lot of it leads that way. So I'm missing the top 2 infamy ones.

If you are a "purist" about not wanting to AFK farm for badges the INF badges should be the ones you'd want to get. Out of all the epic badges the INF badges are the only ones you -can't- get via solo AFK farming.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Baby, bathwater. I ignore the entire tab since so much of it annoys me. I'll likely get them when I get them, but I've already moved past 500, and 600's impossible for me on a villain due to vet and anniversary badges missing. If it got to a point where it was all I was missing to hit 600, I'd get more into it. Heck, I might even *puke* afk farm a little.

  21. I'm a little odd, admittedly, but when I want influence, I run the "Strange Case of Benjamin A Decker" Oro arc repeatedly. Every mission is quick, and the end of mission and end of arc bonuses come fast, if you load relatively fast.
  22. Happy [censored] birthday, Ping.

    The 600 Club!

517 on my villain, but he's always going to be like 15 badges down. No 600 for him...yet.
  24. Yes, you need to retrigger it to get it to award globally. I did it, and it worked.
