LoTG: +Rech costs 2 Hero Merits.
20,000,000 and 50 Reward Merits = 1 Hero Merits. This can be done only once every 20 hours.
You can get 1 or 2 Hero Merits every two days through Morality missions.

I wasn't sure where to post this but as it's intended for my tank I thought I'd post it here.
I was planning on having 5 LotG +rech IO's in my SD/SS tank's new build but I'm having trouble getting hold of them. By the time I hit 50, I had about 400 reward merits but instead of buying them outright, I thought I'd do random rolls with them in the hope that I'd get my hands on a couple of them for cheaper and possibly some oher lucrative recipes. I was happy with my 2 Numina +regen/+recovery's but sadly no LotG's.
Does anyone know the best way to get LotG +rech's? either with reward merits/AE tickets? -
Thanks for the help guys, I took some of your advice and rearranged some powers. I've also picked up portal jockey now so I can sacrifice GotA's +end. Can't wait to put this build to work!

I thought I was happy with my first proposed build for my SD/SS tank, but I've been playing around with it and I've realised swapping out Energy for Pyre Mastery would make her so much more fun, and with a few more set bonuses, I can still keep my endurance in check.
I've managed to drop fighting and just taken Manoeuvres, and also what are your thoughts on my Force Feedback procs? I like the idea of having a huge recharge boost every now and again, and I don't think I've compromised anywhere to slot them in.
Since low levels, I've been playing the market a little to reach my target of 300 mill which I thought would be enough to fund her. I'm now at just under 1 billion, do you think that would be enough for this build? I intend to buy and craft all of the IO's apart from the LotG's which I'll acquire with merits if I can get enough together.

It may be a little over my budget with the obliterations but I'm just going to have to save up. I've made about 350mill so far by playing the market and I'm only level 43 so I've got time to make some more.

Hi guys, just a quick question.
Would I be right in thinking when respecing at level 50, enhancement slot order doesn't matter? I googled my question and found this but I'd just like someone to verify this, thanks!

I love my SD/SS as much as anyone else here but it was clear Shield Charge needed some tweaking. Tanks aren't expected to be doing the most damage in a team, and anyway, AAO and SC still make SD an awesome powerset.

Thanks for the tips New Dawn, I took your advice on Jab and KoB's slotting and put a force feedback proc in there. I also swapped out Taunt for Super Jump as I can hold aggro with Against all Odds and my AOEs anyway. Now I haven't sorted out power order but apart from that how does this look?
EDIT: oh also I took your advice on health slotting and I got a +regeneration from a silver roll the other day so I'll put that in there too.

Hi guys, this is my old SD/SS build I used on Union. But now I've moved over to the NA servers, I'm trying to fit SJ in somewhere and can't find anywhere to fit it. Can anyone else see something I can do without?
Any other tips are welcome too, baring in mind I'm on a budget, thanks.

I IOed out my SD/SS tank on Union and she was by far my most fun character. So much so, I remade her since joining the US servers.
This is the first I've heard about a SD nerf, and I really hope they don't decide to double the recharge of Shield Charge. I could deal with a damage nerf, bringing it down closer to Foot Stomp levels of damage but surely doubling the recharge would make Shield Charge look even more like a nuke.
