Ack, sorry, I missed the part where you said you have this at 50 already..
Glancing over your build, a thought or two:
Whirling Hands is one of the weaker AoEs in the game. If you're soloing, you won't be facing large enough spawns to milk what little usefulness it has out of it, and you don't need it to keep agro off anyone, either. Sure, you could herd, but that depends on what exactly you're fighting (as in, can a solo unbuffed unsupported FA Tanker handle large groups of whichever faction you're up against). You might want to drop that.
Again, if you're mostly soloing, you could drop Recall Friend. Even if you group occasionally, by level 50 most people either have a travel power or can easily buy a jetpack from FBZ.
Finally, I'd drop Acrobatics, and grab Temperature Protection in its place. Doesn't cost any endurance to run since it's an Auto power, and you can slot a -KB IO in it (costs 75 merits or a variable amount of Inf depending on server, time of day, alignment of the moon...). It also gives protection against -recharge effects, which means they'll gimp your Healing Flames less when you encounter them. If you can get your hands on one, get a Winter's Gift -recharge resistance IO as well to stack with. You don't need the Hold protection Acro grants, either.
In the place of the other two, you might want to look at Burn and one of either Rise of the Phoenix/Stun/Melt Armor. -
If I'm in it solely for the merits, not the xp or fun - and this thread is about merits, specifically - then I'd much rather do one TF for 111 merits that only has diminishing returns with itself so I can do other TFs in between for full rewards, than do 5 for ~25 merits a pop, across varying exemplar levels (I HATE EXEMPLARING), putting all of them on diminishing returns for the next 24 hours.
Give us villains some badly designed Hero-less agonizingly long TFs to make up for Positron, Doc Q(!), and Synapse (okay, that one has the CWK). Sure, they're long and boring, but I'm sure I'm not the only person who does TFs rarely and thus would prefer more merits for a single one.

I'd guess that it's also easier to get teams to do a task which takes a couple of hours for 40 merits than it is to do a task that can sometimes take 5-8 hrs - a lot of people may not have the time to spare no matter how many merits are on offer.
[/ QUOTE ]Doc Q isn't exactly hard. Heck, my Warshade on SOs with sub-optimal slot placement could probably solo it. It hardly matters if one or two people drop.
I wish villains could get 40 Merits for a single SF, gee... -

Also ... We'd better bloody well get the Passport badge if we do have to move!!!
[/ QUOTE ]Oh sweet, now I'm hoping for a move even more! -
CJ is often underestimated. Consider that it has a 0.06 endurance per second cost, which is practically free. Granted, this is assuming you wouldn't be able to pick anything more powerful in its place.

Reply to the OP: Unless you really want that toxic resistance, I'd swap one Hecatomb out for an Achilles Heel proc in Slash.
But, well, anyone who knows me well knows that I'm addicted to that proc... I daresay for good reasons! -
KB is mitigation with overall team damage output decrease because radial KB ruins AoEs. And, well, if that damage was meant to impress me... I have a Warshade.
But, well, I'm known to be a vehement anti-knockback nazi anyway, so it might just be me. I'd just prefer the PB did something else other than scatter the spawn for some 200 damage. -
They just need to make Jeckyll suck less without nerfing Hyde.
-
That's... odd. Somehow I always knew it was Wolf Spiders. Maybe they changed the tip for it when the badge UI was revamped.
-
I don't regret the lack of a godmode. Mostly because I forget to use the one I actually have on the one toon, anyway. Plus, the crash is nasty. The Eye of the Magus accolade should be fine, and its FX even match Invulnerability.
-
I swear the badge has always said you need to defeat Wolf Spiders to achieve it.
-
Well, don't get rid of them just yet. It's a bug, and bugs get fixed. Just respec them out for now.
-
Defenders have the same EndDrain on Elec Blast as Blasters do, but deal less damage. And Elec Blast is already a little lamesauce on Blasters.
If you don't want Sonic, then... I'd go Ice, personally. The -rech adds to team mitigation on top of the +res shields, you still get Holds (one more than Elec does), and you'll have a nice mini-soup-of-doom with Liquefy + Ice Storm (or Blizzard...). -
Based on past experiences, I think they want to avoid that until they're 100% certain what IS going to happen.
Every time they've said "This is what will happen." about ANYTHING and it ends up not happening (entirely possible, because things change unexpectedly in real life), the playerbase has gone absolutely bonkers over it. -
I sincerely doubt that booster packs would be lost for any reason.

a scrapper with lots of hit points
[/ QUOTE ]You mean a Brute? EM/Fire Brute would work better for this. -
I have the auras in Gang War, but none of the rest. You can't slot Recharge Intensive Pet sets into Henchmen at all, so there's no way for Masterminds to be affected at all outside of Gang War or Lightning Storm.
The auras still work, by the way. I have no idea how the coding works, but an uneducated guess is that there's a hiccup in whatever code prevents the +rech from affecting pet powers that extends this limitation to all of the enhancement values from the IOs in the set. -
Oh fine, if I have to choose from the list, I pick the full merger. Then, whereever I get lobbed, I'd get a transfer to the busiest server. I love crowded servers in MMORPGs. Tons of people!
Also, I've been itching to post on the US forums for a long time now. They're more active, and they have lots of people spouting nonsense about game mechanics that my elitist self desires to correct them about.
But, no matter what happens... Well, call it what you will, but I don't care, much. I don't see how any of this would affect me badly. -

Because this company has always sucked at keeping people informed.
Everything is and always has been a big secret, from the trivial to important things like this, its like blood out of a stone. Always a "soon" , another carrot dangled or just silence.
[/ QUOTE ]Oh yeah, because giving specific time estimates and detailed info has worked SO well for them in the past. -
[ QUOTE ]
Hmm makes me wonder, can you fit no disrupt Enhancements in AS?
[/ QUOTE ]Nope. -
I'm hoping the auras still work fine? *logs on to check his Mastermind*

Flash isn't such a bad power once it is slotted, although thats talking from a +rediculous recharge build.
[/ QUOTE ]Doesn't this apply to pretty much all AoE Hold powers? Heh. -
With typed defense I'd emphasize on Smashing/Lethal before other types, myself. Mainly because like half the damage in the game is pure smashing lethal, most of the rest is partially smashing lethal. I used Kinetic Combat on my own Invul toon. Opinions on this may vary, though.
