I agree with you that in general (regardless of server) villain events have poorer attendance. That said someone asking for more villain events should not be dismissed since it can help Daz et al. as they move forward with their new Champion group know what the community desires. @warboss (nuclear medicine) just started a Brutal Monday event under the Justice Events banner and the opening night was highly successful. I was surprised that we had 3 full teams of brutes running. It's hard to anticipate what will be well attended so i would think all suggestions would be welcome. Then again i still don't know the server/people dynamic's of champion yet. -
Updated Events Calendar with fur_nes' Event at 12:00pm (noon) on Sunday startin' with the Sister Psyche Task Force, followed by the Citadel Task Force.
Also added Tamerlayne's Masters run for Lord Recluse Strike Force on Dec. 3rd, with a back-up date on the 5th (tenative due to player participation and scheduling). -

Funny you should mention this. Strike Force only Events, along the exact same lines o' Task Force Tuesday, have been attempted at least three times on this server, much to no avail. The reason they didn't last is mainly due to lack o' attendence. Hard to have an event when no one shows up.Quote:we still don't see a SFX like TFTuesdays
Tanker Tuesday is the longest runnin' Player Event in the history o' CoH. If Brutes existed when the Event was first created, that might've played a factor. Except Tanker/Brute Tuesday doesn't really roll off the tongue as well.Quote:.. Or the 'tank only event'.. pshaww at the segregation'

GAME NIGHT concludes this month on a very special day, BLACK FRIDAY! So join us after the hustle and bustle of chaotic holiday shopping and feasting for another round of enjoyable games in the D!
Gathering:
Gather in the Pocket D game lounge before 11:00pm EST to ensure you don't miss out on the festivities!
Schedule:
1.) Trivia: join us in the lounge as we kick-off the night with some fun trivia. All questions will come from a variety of subject areas but be prepared to answer a lot of questions about Turkeys, Thanksgiving, Shopping, and all things black!
2.) Hangman: Following trivia we will play a few rounds of everyone's favorite classic game of Hangman!
3.) Black Friday Costume Contest: We will conclude the night with a special costume contest dedicated to the chaos that is Black Friday. For this CC all characters must do their best to create costumes that only use the color BLACK (clothing items only, not skin). So grab your signature toon and deck them out in that all black attire (thanks hot topic) and show us just how creative you can be with just one shade of color! This should turn out to be quite the interesting challenge! Prizes will be given for 1st (500 Million), 2nd (300 Million), 3rd (150 Million), and Honorable Mentions!

-Game Night Hosts will be judging so look out!
Prizes:
INF will be the standard prize for all game nights!
