My MA scrapper can two shot a minion, and with a crit I've one-shotted oranges. And the Oranges I've one shotted are DE Fungi, and MA does not have the most damaging attacks.

This where I have my beef. Every mob in the 40+ game has a ranged attack. Look at the carnies, the Attendants and Jugglers have ranged attacks that are longer than mine. The Strongmen, who I think of as tanks, can hurl rocks a very long distance AND lay down a hit that can knock me down.
How can blasters compete with everything having a ranged attack? What it looks like is blasters = minions.
I have always seen AT rolls as:
Defenders= assisting team members (buff/debuff)/dmg when able
Controllers = Enemy confusion/ assisting team members
Tanks = Keeping enemy occupied /moderate damage
Scrappers = Heavy hitter killers (lts/bosses) attacking with speed and dmg
Blasters = Big Damage/Minion Killers but not attacking with speed

I also have a lvl 23 regen scrapper and I love playing him as much as I love playing my lvl 48 blaster. Here's a suggestion I have to help "level" the playing field, if that's what you feel you must do.
A critical hit to me, has always seemed like a lucky swing that knicked an artery. Theoretically, blasters have practiced their accuracy because they have ranged attack. I think blasters should have a version of the critical attack as well. Call it a "Bullseye" shot if you wish, but as ranged attackers, our accuracy should be our strength. Especially on a snipe attack when we have to concentrate that much harder and not be interrupted.

I am a level 38 blaster, playing on the Heroic level. I can finally solo again now that the roll back happened.. and I see LT's like mad in my missions. They are usually orange too.
I am very happy with the changes.
If I want it tougher, I'll team with a tank who's on invicible. -

It's funny people are talking about soloing the respec trial. If it wasn't for the respec trial, I probably would have not found out just how good teaming can be and how important each AT is to a team.
Whether the devs made it this way or not, I personally feel the respec trial was designed for a team of 5 - one of each AT. With every AT doing thier job, the respec trial can be done efficiently and it's fun. I tried 6 times to do the trial and numbers 5 and 6 were the best because we were the one of every AT mix.
The interesting thing is that neither team had an AT "perfect" build, nor did we have a bubbler or a primary Empath. (#6 was successful, #5 we all bit it on the last wave in the reactor and time wouldn't let us continue.)
Doing the Respec Trial with a team made me want to go out and build a hero specifically for teaming.. so now I have 2 controllers that I play with as my main alts. My controllers very rarely lack for a team and usually have a request within minutes after logging on. (Maybe because it is the fact that I am on Victory.. a good team server in my mind.) -

I hate to burst your bubble, but what you're asking for in the above paragraph is not a fault of the devlopers of the game.
If you want to find a team that's easier to get together, then YOU need to search for players that are only in YOUR zone. Or only in YOUR range. Those things are already programmed into the seek team window. However, the developers can't force the people you want to play with to be where you are.. that's just impossible. I think they've made it very easy to find a team. (or create one.)
As for finding a supergroup that fits your character, well, you're going to have to look for one. Or start your own. The developers don't know and can't know how everyone plays their hero, how are they going to make supergroups easier for you to find?
Throw a post on the official boards asking for a supergroup that does a specific thing.. it's your job to find the group or team that's right for you.
I found two sg's that are perfect for me... how did I do it? By teaming and talking to other players... -

This is the only online MMO I have ever played. What got me into this game was the character generator, what has kept me in the game has been the great content and playability.
I started in late June and every update has added more and more. The fun just continues and I have taken changes in stride, some good and some not so good, confident you and your developers know what you are doing.
This post proves to me that my confidence is in the right place. I think that you have shown that you understand players like myself, who are not power players and number crunchers, but those of us who just like to have fun and may not be the best "uber" player on the planet.

Con is shortened from Consider, which was a term used in a lot of text muds for the process of working out how tough a mob was in relation to your character.
This often wasn't an automatic process, but a skill that you had to use on each mob and not always possessed by all character classes.

What about the word "con" as in "a mob 'cons' blue to me"
I understand the reference, but what is 'con' short for? Or is it not an abbreviation at all? -
I'd like to see a drink emote, where the villain downs a martini from a standard triangular martini glass and then either tosses the glass over his/her shoulder or smashes it to the ground. (complete with glass smashing sound)
How about a smoke emote where the villain smokes a cigarette and then, for a male villain, flicks it to the ground. For a woman, she would smoke, drop it on the ground, and then crush it with the toe of her boot.
a golf emote where the villain pulls out a putter and practices his putting.
a break emote where the character puts both fists together infront of him and then makes a 'twig snapping' motion.
Since a hero can burp, I think a villain should pass gas

At the end of Beta they had a Rikti invasion. The huge Rikti ships flew across the sky, right above the maximum height you could fly. I got some screenshots somewhere. I don't think you could click on them, much less shoot them. Maybe Santa and his sleigh will do the same. Or little Elves will teleport in, give you a gift, and teleport away, saying, "You've been a good little super-hero." Or maybe we can get Rocks!
Maybe 9 huge oil storage tanks will catch fire and burn for 8 days around the same time.
Maybe the BP will host a huge pagan festival, and try to sacrifice all of Talos Island.

I can see Evil Christmas Trees pelting ornaments in PP and The Hollows, Mad Santas running amok in Steel, Zombie Reindeer, and crazy elves screaming 'I'm a dentist and you're my first patient!'
Also, Frosty throwing icicles, the river in IP freezes over and we all go skating.. all sorts of fun things!!!
The devs are amazing and clever. I am sure we won't be let down for the holiday season. -
About 5 minutes before the event started, it got dark out. I turned to my friend and said 'did the city just go blue?' he replied 'I thought it was my video card.' I knew something was up.. and then it was really cool when CuppaJo announced that it was over and the sun came out. Too much fun.
I appreciated this game more and more every time I play it. (Even if I complain about a certain TF) I think this has always been money well spent. There has been nothing that has kept my attention this long. I've been playing for 4 months now almost every night.
If this is Halloween.. I can't wait for Christmas! -

Actually, you don't have to kill Babbage to complete the Skyway TF. Your party can run away or miss him entirely. Since Babbage is an ambush, I know of a few players who missed him. They didn't know he was coming and took off for the tram. -
In regards to the +1 bug, I looks it's fixed on some missions and not others. My friend and I (both lvl 22 - me, blaster, him, tanker) did his Banished mission last night and it actually had a good mix from greens up to a red boss. However, there were large clumps of yellow/orange.
We then did my timed Sky Raiders mission and it was close to impossible. Nothing was below white. I would say it was 40% white, 40% yellow, and 20% orange. It wouldn't have been so bad if it was like whites with a yellow or an orange, but it was large clumps of yellows with an orange. The only thing blue was the force field generators, when they had a chance to set them up.
Even without the generators, I was having a major accuracy problem. I have DO's and SO's in my accuracy slots and I was mission more than 70% of my shots.
I have never had a timed mission take me more than 45 minutes to complete.. this is the first one I came close (15 min left) to failing...
