Yeah the intro made me feel like a kid again LOL the art style is different, but the character of the show was still there.

Okay guys.. so I bought my son this for his birthday (4 yrs old)..
I was going to throw away the box.. but soon realized that there was a DVD in it for a New Super friends episode.. (The DVD is behind the Flash/Hawkman figure)
I threw it in the DVD player and realized its a NEW Super Friends cartoon series!! After thinking it was probably re-runs of the old series.. I was surprised to see it wasn't!

I don't get why people do this... WHY compare? They are two totally different heroes.. Ugh the movie wasn't as bad as people say. I enjoyed it as did many in the theatre (who couldn't stop talking through the damn thing).. the critics see Ryan Reynolds and probably thought this was supposed to be a comedy LOL and didn't laugh since he was serious majority of the movie.
Hey remember a few years back they wanted Jack Black to play GL and this movie was supposed to be a comedy? Maybe they thought the same lol.
Marvel and DC heroes are vastly different.. GL SHOULDN'T be compared to X-men or Thor.. is GL a god? is GL a Mutant? NO... its different.
Maybe comparing GL to Silver Surfer in Fantastic Four 2... since they are both space heroes? maybe...
I am reading a lot of comments from people who haven't even seen the movie.. go watch it and form your own opinions.. instead of following others.

So I went to see this movie with my family last night,... I have no idea why the critics are bashing this movie.. It was a pretty fun flick.. and no there wasn't a lot of comedy.
Maybe they saw Ryan Reynolds and thought it was meant to be funny? Who the heck knows.. (Yes I know he has done serious roles before)
I liked the movie,.. also the two scenes after the credits were cool! (those that stayed for that know what I mean )
The green lantern corps were cool looking as well.. I liked how they used the rings powers so it didn't look too cartoony.. it was cool
I will say I wish I saw Ryan Reynolds play Wally West or Kyle Rayner.. but as hal Jordan he didn't do a bad job. Those that say he did are simply being picky. I don't get all the back lash this movie is getting. The movie wasn't bad IMO. -

The move put WWF in a big hole since Vince spent millions to win the steriod scandal. (note* this was BEFORE Monday Nitro was ever created)

the finale served its purpose, We got to see him fly.. put on the suit, accept being Superman.
People want a Movie block buster budget to do things that can typically only be done in movies.. in a TV show with a MUCH smaller budget is totally silly to use as a crutch to expect such things.
He pushed a planet.. they did the best they could, we also say him in space.. it was great.
The playing of the Superman Theme sealed it for me. -
Could have been better.. but just happy he put on the suit and flew for 10 minutes. (one minute for each season LOL)
