Well, I will say Guardian has been giving me and my sg mates a lot of lag lately as well. Was bad over the weekend, not so much today though.
-
Did you check your salvage for the merits? I've done Manti twice, Sissy, and the ITF without getting the notice of a merit reward, but after a check of my salvage it's there.
-
Considering that the arc and mish reside on my Shield tank, I'd say it can be obtained post-i13.
-
Just a note, I can confirm (in addition to the Wiki) that is Harvey who gives out the mish. Play through and it's when you need to fill the necklace with defeated enemies or the like, should be second defeat all after that. Came across it on a tank and kept it.
And this "playthegame" arc.... does it cost more to get that? Or is my money that I'm paying okay to play the game the way I want to as long as it's not exploitative? -

I think that burned out my sarcasm detector...
Anywho. I have a character that is pretty much a ripoff of a relatively popular computer game from the 90s put out by Toys for Bob. You can see him over there on the left under my name. Had him for very close to 4 years now, and won't be surprised if he's Generic'd tomorrow.
Um...did I have a point? Hmm...

Wewt! SC2 ftw!
If I saw you, I wouldn't report you. Partly because the game is now Freeware, but mainly because it's so cool.
Sorry, OT I know, but I had to get it in before it got locked/deleted or whatever. -
Playing one of the RWZ arcs the other day, Faultline and Fusionette were helping me take out the AV.
[NPC]Faultline: /t Fusionette So, you wanna go to a movie tonight?
[NPC]Faultline: Oops! Mistell! Let's get back to the business at hand -
I run STF with my SG mates at least twice a month. I'd be happy to start running them on a schedule if there's enough interest.

Players should be advised that if you have any Training Room native characters, PvP Tournament characters etc. on Training Room 2, you should transfer those characters over to Training Room by Monday, May 18th....
[/ QUOTE ]
...ummm... okay, if the transfer tool is used for moving toons from live servers to tr severs... how, then, are we supposed to move our toons from tr 02 to tr? I have several toons on tr 02 not to mention a sg with well over 500 mil pres that I DO NOT want to lose! But I would like to at least keep my (VERY WEALTHY) toons!
So how do we do this... seriously?
[/ QUOTE ]
The Test Server store costs nothing. So if you click on "Character Transfer" on the store menu, you can transfer all the toons you want from 2 to 1 with no charge. -
Well, if you spread the drink around, I'm DEFINITELY coming.
In anticipation for it, I'll say "yarg." -
Schweet....
So, just so I'm clear (since I ignored the last Vil Week,) can I use my lvl 48 over there? Or are we supposed to build one from the ground up? -
<points at post above> Not trying to take any focus away from the VG that posted above, just noticed the thread and said, "Hey! We need more members!" <points again at post above>
Name: Titans Demise
Currently Recruiting: Yes please. Only 3 members and numerous alts.
RP Level: You wanna RP, fine by us. None of us in SG RP however.
Theme/Concept: Redside version of the Blueside "Titans Reborn." No concept, but can be said to desire to bring about the demise of Titans Reborn.
Activity: Low. That's why we're recruiting. Mainly nights, and I am in the Central Time Zone.
Requirements for Membership: Active. Alts welcome. Anything so we can build the base up.
Leadership: Uh... mass alts. Too many "leaders" to name.
In-Game Contact(s): @CharybdisClan
Out-of-Game Contact(s): Can send PM here if desired, but in game better.
URL: none
Coalition(s): One, but I didn't make it.
Other Details: Small base ATM. No TP. Hospital up with one rez circle. Looking to get more prestige to get bigger base going. -
Well, THIS explains why it's taking the NCSoft... er, Paragon Studios store so much time to load.

Phoenix is a mythical creature that's been around for a LONG time, since the Egyptian times. It's also the name of a city and various sporting groups. Kinda hard to call that one "copyrighted."
Gambit, however, is a little more of a clear cut case. It's a word, no special history applied to it. A chess tactic, a sacrifice to obtain a better position. Pretty much able to be copyrighted as a name for somebody, but not as a word. Still, that's what we have the "Report for objectionable content" button for.
Edited slightly for clarity... I guess.
[/ QUOTE ]
You misunderstand copyright law. For example, "wolverine" is the name of an animal and cannot be owned by any company for commercial purposes. However, it is indeed owned within the restrictive domain of a comic superhero. So if you want to create a store called "Wolverine Groceries" you could and there's no infringement, but if you want to create a superhero named Wolverine, that's trouble. It's that type of domain restriction that makes it OK for one company to own the name Pioneer Electronics and another to own Pioneer Chicken. No possible market confusion.
So the use of both Pheonix and Gambit are protected when it comes to superhero characters, but not other uses.

Ya, that's pretty much what I said in my post from the start, just not as verbosely. I said it can be copyrighted as names, but not as a word. Meaning, Marvel can copyright the Cajun character with the ability to charge objects and throw them, etc. with the name Gambit, but can't copyright the word. -

You can't copyright the word gambit. You can copyright the character Gambit, but not the word itself. If it's not in a character context, it should be perfectly fine.

I fixed my initial post to be a little more clear, but this is what I was saying in my post. Gambit cannot be copyrighted. Gambit, the Marvel Comic Character, can. -

What's strange is I was setting up a mission the other night, and some half-finished word threw up the flag for a second. Couldn't figure out what it was, but I threw out some various words I thought wouldn't be allowed: "X-Men," "XMen," and "Wolverine." None of them showed up as flagged.
