My turn!
Rate MY Ebil:
- Bought and deleted several dozen sleep purples recipes.
- Overpaid on all my salvage to get it NOW
- Invaded the Reactive Armor market and bought higher than the flipper and resold lower than them.
- Put out dozens of lowball bids on various uniques and laughed when some filled.
- Wrote a thread turning the bible into the market bible
- Gave away 20 million to people for making me laugh.

Quote:Here is a list of things I've done on the market this week.
I've become disoriented by massive profits and can no longer distinguish degrees of EEEEBIL.
Please help me regain my equilibrium by ranking my schemes from MOST to LEAST eeebil, preferably with a short explanation of your logic.
- Buying and destroying all of the Nevermelting Ice listed for less than 50,000 inf every night before bed.
- Buying LotGs for 50-60 million, flipping them for 100 million.
- Buying Positron's Blast dam/end recipes for 100k, selling the crafted enhancements for 10 million.
- Finding a bunch of crafted Armageddons and Gravitic Anchors stored in a long disused base, selling them for enough to get a broke character to the inf cap.
- Placing a bunch of lowball bids on a recipe I'm flipping to soak up all the cheap incoming supply and encourage players to pay my premium.
- Buying assorted Large inspirations for 10k and combining them to make Large Defense inspirations which I sell for 500k.
- Overpaying for junk salvage because I'm too impatient for bid creeping.
TIA!- Placing a bunch of lowball bids on a recipe I'm flipping to soak up all the cheap incoming supply and encourage players to pay my premium.

Destroying salvage underpriced: Quite ebil
Making 100x Profit! Quite Ebil
making 50x profit: quite ebil
Making LoTGs sell for what they're worth. Not very ebil
Selling things for prieces people are willing to pay: Not ebil
Overpaying for things others are selling: Nice. -

Quote:suck it up n00b!So it's my stupid quirk that's killing my motivation. I've forced myself to BUY NOW on salvage, and crafting has (of course) become less of a chore. I don't mind waiting for recipes, but once I have that sucker, I want to create it! Now that I'm weaning myself off of that mental hang-up, things have eased.
I couldn't bring myself to spend precious tickets on salvage rather than recipes, though. It's just bad economy in the long run.
This is one of those cases where "Suck it up, n00b!" has actually worked on me. Thanks guys!
Oh you already did, I see. -
Honestly I've deliberately phrased the post in a way to make me look evil. I could easily rephrase it in a way to make me look like a saint y'know.
Observe;
So you're playing the game and you get a purple. You must be rich you think. But no, you check and it was just a sleep set. No worries, the benevolent Chaos Creator is here to save the day! I bought out a ton of those sleep recipes so now yours will actually sell. You should be so happy that your recipe is no longer worthless.
Not only that but you, the 80 people I bought out; You listed your recipes for what you thought they were worth. I paid what I thought they were worth. Who are you to tell me what to do with them?
See, now I look like a saint. Don't get me wrong though I really am as evil as the original post sounded. -
Quote:And I have four words for you.I have two words for you guys who are doing this and it isn't "Good Morning"
I was wondering do any of you guys work for the US govt? Stop with the retarded forced inflation. Get over yourselves and stop ripping people off. Thanks.

common level 50 IO recipes sell for 50k to 100k EACH
The difficulty slider allows farming without fillers.
Lots of places. -

Quote:That's cheap!Anything you could do with 20 market slots you could do with two level 10 characters plus gleemail. It's more CONVENIENT to do it with 20 market slots on your field crafter or whomever.
I'd charge on an increasing scale, probably quadratic. 1 M for your first slot, (1+2)= 3M for your second, 6M for your third, 10M for your fourth... 55M for your tenth.
(Shout out to all my Ars Magica peeps!) -

Level 20 enemies have less attacks and less mez than level 30 enemies.
Level 30 have less than level 40s
So you want them to make enemies with weak easily ignorable attacks level 50 just so you can smash through TFs?
Not likely to happen. -
Of course not, most villain groups don't go 1-50 so they'd have to redesign every villain group ever used in a TF.

I buy all salvage now. Want to charge me a million for a common I need? I'll buy it.
