  1. I would assume it is very uncommon because of all the other sets you can roll. It's not "FoTM" so people don't choose it much. Just like Dark Melee/Energy Aura.

    I have hardly seeny any DM/EA, yet.. The two seem perfect for eachother. Soul Drain + Entropic Aura + Energy Drain work very well together. When surrounded by enemies your damage, defense, and recharge are all buffed to very high levels. Not to mention with a very inexpensive build you can: Soft cap defense, perma Hasten, and perma Soul Drain.
  2. Decided to make a Jack-of-all-trades build so I can handle all of the games content.

    Need debuffs? Got it. This build has it all, -defense, - res, and it even has a lot of -hp, which is the greatest debuff in the game.. Oh and I got some inspiration from some of the builds here, it also has -end.

    Need a healer? Got it covered too. Not only does the PB primary allow for massive healing possibilities.. I also dived into the medicine pool for max potential as a healer. I slotted for interupt reduction so I can fire them off with no interuption, and also for range so I can heal from far away.

    I can also tank, I slotted for AoE defense because this build is made for great area of effect effect. I slotted the end redux in Essence Boost due to it's high end cost, and as a tank, I cannot run out of end. The +3 defense IO gets me closer to the soft cap for all positions. All in all, very sturdy.

    I slotted five complete sets of Force Feedback for max recharge. Moar recharge = moar damage, which is the primary focus on this build. I also took burnout so when I use all my AoE/PBAoE powers, I can pop it and instantly use them all again. All in all.. Very good build. Very happy with the versatitility of it.

  3. Few things.. The idea of running around with basically a permanent 100% damage boost sounds nice :P as long as I don't run out of mobs that is.

    Also, the defense that you probably see is with no Clarion boost.. So with the ATO added.. That's 42% melee, 39% ranged, and 41% AoE before Clarion. I am considering the other unique +3% defense to all IO.. But not sure if I will get it.. I suppose if I am patient I can eventually get enough Hero merits to acquire it.

    There you go, the defense is much higher when I use my Clarion Destiny power before farsight. Pushes all the defense up past soft cap. The Apocalypse set is the ATO set, so this build is perma haste, perma chrono shift, and soft capped defenses with no 500 million IOs.

    Best team build

    My vote would be a Sonic/Rad.. Ice/Rad is a very close second though. In a full team, the holds are going to be sort of lackluster, useful.. But not super useful. The ice slows though.. Very good, especially stacked on top of LR.

    The thing with sonic is that the -res is going to be adding on to everyone on your teams damage output.. Which is good.

    Unless you love corruptors like I do, I would suggest making that Corruptor a Defender. Bigger buffs and bigger debuffs. But I would have a hard time making it a Defender, because I love my Corruptors :3
  6. Been going through a few respecs on my Ice/Time Corruptor to max this/max that. Or what would be very fun.

    I've gone from Ice/Time/Power and although /Power is very good for Time.. I felt it kind of boring. So I then switched to Ice/Time/Soul.. Much less boring and somewhat end heavy.. But had powerboost to bolster my defenses.. I did find the pet sort of useless for my style of play on my Corr (I typically herd mobs and am right in the thick of everything, and even with Powerboost + Clarion Farsight.. My Fortunata still died. FAST.)

    And now I am onto Dark Mastery.. Which I have not yet respecced into. From the looks of it... it seems like it will fit the bill pretty well for me. Oppressive Gloom seems like it would be handy to stun those pesky minions, and since I am always in melee range anyways.. it seemed even better. Dark Embrace is the usual resist shield.. Nothing to say there. But then Dark Mastery's Soul Drain... YES! =] SO, SO much better than Soul's.. Not only is it perma after enhancement boosters on my build.. But it hits more targets as well, according to my mids. And then to top it all off.. Dark Consumption is there for when my end bar is at about 15 or so (Which takes a long time of consistently fighting.)

    The only things I am stressing about is not having the MASSIVE defense buff from a Powerboost + Clarion. And I also like Frost Breath too, It's actually nice if you can drop an Ice Storm and then instantly hit Frost Breath fron range and jump into the mobs and blast away. I am not well educated in the ways of Opressive Gloom, so if taking Frost Breath over it would work well.. I am all game for that.. But I would lose some melee and AoE defense.. Anyways, here is the planned build!

    (P.S. The Apocalypse set is a superior ATO set.)

  7. This is what I'm playing with. The 6 slotted Apoc set is actually a Superior Malice of the Corruptor set. No vengeance and I opted to not take the holds from Ice or Time.. But it does allow more slots and a bit more added survivability with weave and tough + dark embrace. With this build, I can stand in +4/x8 mobs and just sit there. Very fun to play with. =]

    Also.. You can add the purple sets where they are needed, I normally don't use purples in my builds.

  9. I was actually thinking of dusting off my Dark/Shield scrapper. I have one at 50. I also have been leveling up a Dark Melee/Energy scrapper as well, but when he got to 46, I rolled an Ice/Time Corruptor and never looked back.
  10. Hello everyone! New to "posting" on the forums, but not new to reading them. The title says it all. I am looking to make a 50 of every AT. I already have plenty of 50s.. But they tend to gather dust, or get stripped of their IOs. What I am wanting to do is make the best of every AT, and make them very good builds. Just looking for suggestions as to which powerset combinations you find incredibly fun. I started this goal with an Ice/Time/Power Corruptor, and I absolutely love it. Not sure what I would like to build next.. Possibly an AV soloer that is not melee. Post away with your builds that you absolutely love =]
