  1. Here is what I believe will be my final build.

    Compared to Dread's build, it may have advantages. But I'm not feeling very thorough today, so I didn't go that in depth in trying to compare the two.

    40% melee defense
    40% ranged defense
    32% AoE defense
    102.5% recharge with one purple set + superior ATO set.
    22% global damage bonus.

    It seems nice on paper, can't wait to test it out! =]

  2. For reasons unknown.. My original forums account now accepts the password I have NEVER changed, but did not accept it before. And now my other account is not VIP, so I am using my original..

    Anyways.. Just recently I happened to become very lucky, and I now have a pretty large sum of influence. I made a few tweaks to the build, and this is what I have come up with.

    I have a question though.. With the update to Fade and Soul Absorption, will my build have them perma? The only thing I know for certain is that Fade will give me a 16% defense buff, putting me above the softcap to all positions while still having perma-hasten.

  4. Ok, well this is my first shot at a Widow build. I have no experience, I have just been doing some studies on the forums for the past few hours. I also have a Fort build if anyone wants to see it. I am planning on doing the double build and switching between the two.

    I looked at all suggestions in this thread, and this has some decent AoE and an AoE immob. End shouldn't be an issue. And with the Ageless T4, hasten will most likely be perma. Tell me what you think!

  6. I did some tweaks to my build. And will post it later in this message.

    3 ST melee attacks does seem like too little, because it is. And if those were my only single target attacks, I would agree. But I am also packing Gloom, and with the animation times of Kinetic Melee, with and without Hasten up, my attacks are practically seemless.

    Other than that, the reason I chose Obliteration for Burst is because it offers high damage, and high recharge. I know the set takes 6 slots for the S/L. But what you get with it is not bad at all. Damage, accuracy, and recharge. And that's why I chose it, not to mention it does get me over the soft cap. I could slot smashing haymakers for the same bonus, but I have never liked those, too little accuracy for me.

    The rest I will let you look at, I took your advice with the slotting, and it came out better.

    Well, my thinking was since it was such a low damaging power with a fast recharge, that the procs would hit quite often. But I'm not very adept at game mechanics. As in, I'm not sure that if you activate a power and the proc doesn't fire, that you have to wait for a bit before it gets a chance to proc again. Or if it does fire, if you have to wait.

  10. Also, I noticed you were at the 10% regeneration set bonus cap. Maybe replacing the two LoTGs that AREN'T the 7.5 in your defensive power of choosing, and putting in Gift of the Ancients for the recovery bonus. It's minimal, but since you are end heavy, it's better than a wasted set bonus, and that minimal HP bonus. Also, maybe adding a Kismet 6% to-hit in CJ? Let me know if anything I am throwing out here suits your fancy.
  11. To add on more to the suggestions. Might I include taking the Absolute Amazement End/Stun out of OG. And adding the -to-hit proc. It hardly costs any endurance anyways, and you are hardly getting benefit from adding more stun. Also, maybe drop Focused Burst for Hasten? If you still want Soul Transfer. In my opinion, Focused Burst is not that great. Takes a long time to animate, and well, it just isn't my type of power. You will still have a great attack chain with Quick Strike, Body Blow, Gloom, and Concentrated Strike. Add Hasten and it is almost seamless.
  12. I have never used the T4 Ageless. But if I remember correctly, it recharges in 120 seconds, and lasts 120 seconds. And the end recovery (again, if I remember correctly) is pretty hefty for the whole duration. I was on a team and had someone use T4 Ageless, and my end recovery was above 4 end/sec the whole duration. So you might not have as much end issues as you think if you only play at 50.

  16. Okay, so I did some tweaking. And this is what I came up with. No stealth, still soft capped. No nerve, still soft capped. It has decent accuracy, decent recharge, more regen than my previous build, but less health. And the end issues seem A LOT better with the Cardiac, naturally. Feedback would be awesome. (:

  18. I could always pick up the Ageless T4, if I remember correctly it gives recharge AND recovery. But I have never messed around with it. But that would only cover level 50 play.. which is what I want to do actually. Do you have any reccomendations for which Destiny power to take? Most except... Clarion? Seem good to me.
  19. Okay, so I messed around with my build (very little, but you can notice.) And took your advice with the Cardiac Alpha. In a fight with an AV, running all toggles -Icicles but adding Darkest Night. I get a net endurance recovery of 1.77 end/sec. Seems decent to me. All of my attacks are slotted the same, but I switched around the IOs so now every attack has 66% accuracy or more. And I am still soft capped. Taking into account stealth.
  20. Oh, and about stealth. In my proposed build it does two things. One, pushes me over the soft cap. And two, is used to hold an LoTG set.
  21. Because of the Nerve Alpha, I did slot my attacks with minimal accuracy, and if possible tried to focus on something else (endurance, damage, procs, or recharge.) About the endurance consumption. It does look bad, yes, and maybe it is. But I have an Elec/SS tank who has a higher end consumption, and has to deal with both the rage and hasten crash. And I never have end problems. Maybe I will with this guy. But I am not sure. He is 50. But he is not slotted (haven't had time.) Recharge could be an issue.. I love my recharge haha. I literally jump with joy when a controller, defender, or corrupter with speed boost is on a team with me. But 68.8% (practically 70%) seems decent to me. But maybe I will have to test it out first.
