I've a question about the SG beacons. Most of the members of the main SG I'm a part of have most if not all the explore badges (in CoH). I ran around Atlas with my level 44 Blaster with Superspeed and Hover to where all the badges were while in SG mode. No Atlas beacon badge.

So I'm wondering, to get a Beacon badge, would you have to avoid getting Explore badges until you are a part of an SG with an active base to earn those badges (or find some new guy or gal to join up with the SG and drag them around to the different Explore badge sites)?

Sometimes, especially when a player doesn't know where the explore badges are may inadvertantly run across them while running from one spot to another. Would that ruin the chances of that person working on the SG beacon badges when they join up later on? For CoV, there's the one badge that you can't avoid if you get a mission entrance in that one pit....

You only get the badge Cold Hearted when you complete the mission for (I forget his name, he's a member of the Mooks who has a thing against the Council and he has orange hair, sunglasses, and likes to stand in front of the RICinema near the Arena in PO) one of the contacts you get in Port Oakes.

The mission is getting vengence on a person the contact thought of as an uncle who ended up betraying the contact's family by giving secrets to the Council. When you complete the mission, you are awarded the badge.

I liked the Hellion Girlfriends dialogue. Always wondered if these gangs had an female groupies....

'Do you think anyone can see us with these Hellions guys? I bet they're so jealous!'

A Captain from the Sky Raiders (while I was in their area in Sharkhead Isle while in Beta, mind you there was a typo): 'I know I should back toe the latrine, but it's so much fun to teleport in and scare everyone.'

Is there going to be a sticky(sp?) so people who decide to order the Update packs can find the links/sites? For the Updates, would that include any patches that were released since the previous Updates (such as changing the order of some powers, rebalancing issues like increasing/decreasing attack times, consolidating enhancers, adding new inspirations, etc.)?

With my Collector's Edition, I've got all 7 HeroClix. It was ironic that one of the figurines was in the side pocket along with the cards and whatnot. Positron was in the side pocket, and he's the first one in the deck (makes me feel sorry for Statesman, his card was all alone, outside the protective plastic that the rest of the cards were in... ).

Any relation to the human/alien hybrid probe from Star Trek, the original series?

Prestige shouldn't be recorded until after Bases are available (if not when CoV goes Live). Not so much like it couldn't happen earlier, but it would only be fair for those who are going to buy CoV, since they'll have less time to earn it than the Heroes, for every one to have an equal chance of earning prestige.

I wish that since there was only one female helmet that it would have been included with all of the pre-order. I know a lot of people who have male and female characters that would like to have a special helmet, not just for one gender. (Maybe another unique helm was made for the retailer that was going to have the helmet for only the female..., then every retailer would get the female helmet too. )
