    Though I'm quite certain that I know what Kevin Spacey's Character is talking about in The Ref now in regards to the Restaurant Guide of New York, I'm curious on the term "Idiot Ball" in regards to this review

    This was created as a helpful tool for anyone who needed tickets, and wanted to have a semi meaningful experience aside from "Hey look a map of minions go and complete". It holds no massively roadblocking types of enemies, nor custom mobs that will eat your face off within 500 feet. In fact it contains two popular mobs from what I understand of quickies. Freaks and 5th. (I chose 5th since we hadn't seen them in a while save one encounter in game)

    Whats going on during the entire process is you are running a distraction for whatever the villain is doing in the meantime. Perhaps I need to spell this out, I was hoping people would be able to pick up on that. I will have to revise this, I've already got that in my notes after reading this.

    Secondary objectives of this were to show the many wonderful things you could throw into any mission, to do so and make it useful to people wanting a small badge run too, I placed them on somewhat larger maps. I didn't think the size of the map was an issue in this case. Again, in my notes to fix.

    The missions are left unclear for the most part as since the plot suggests you are in the dark and simply a hired hand at this point, then you wouldn't need the details. The pop ups indicate this as well. I was trying to go for a middle feeling between "OMG Save the day!" and "Muhahahaha". It appears I've failed. I've made a correction form for that in my notes.

    You won't always know the entire story behind everything, and that is the main reason I've left a lot of it in the dark. We still don't know the entire reason behind the MA to begin with or the ITF's impact. The player is left to their own conclusions if they care, on whats going on. It's implied that these groups have been led here under false pretense, and then someone has come to keep them busy once they are there. I'm a bit frustrated that isn't apparent.

    He's a boosted perception fast-flying AV who spawns right inside a mission full of Malta.

    Exactly what are my options here? 1) fight 2) run blindly into Sapper + ops officer, get grenaded and end drained, FIGHT ANYWAY.

  5. I was able to successfully solo this on my regen scrapper. I appreciate your feedback on the matter however. I will take it into consideration

    A few remarks
    The end AV is meant to be a pain. Recluse is a pain. Bobcat is a pain. An AV shouldn't a push over unless I'm missing the concept of AV

    The mission clues keep reappearing despite what I try to do locally and remotely. I'm trying to fiugure this out. Some of them are left over from the first story overhaul.

    Dr. Richard Dreadskoff IS Dreadnot. VirtueVerse.

    Sixty's bio has been placed in 2 times already and uploaded. I'll have a look again. &lt;scratches head&gt;

    Every other contact in the game makes you clean up the messes they come across. Task Forces are the same essentially.

    That AV in mission 2 IS entirely optional if you want the infamy. He is NOT an required objective. Don't fight him if you don't want to It's not listed as being required.

    If you have a better idea on who'd be breaking in at that level, I'm all ears. The animation is default and I don't know why you'd be seeing jeering o.@

    The spell checker I'm using is from MWods 8.5, it claims it's fine. I will drop everything in there again. Of course, I've noticed the grammar is shadey in it's database, so I may need to figure out if there's a way to get an updated Spell checker program.

    Again, I appreciate it, if you read through the patch notes there's been quite a few revisions on the AV's and EB's, it's a work in progress.

    [u]Other Details:[u] Prestige is appreciated but not required, we all have bills to pay. We try to ask a fair split between infamy and prestige. We have a tier 5 plot Hero base and a tier 3 villain base. (Yes with teleporters to the major zones, come on, what ever happened to walking? :P), with 3rd level buffers, storage for inspirations. (take a penny, leave a penny), medibot (the inspiration vending machine!) a lovely meeting hall that seats 100 easy at one time, a Executive meeting room, and a lab. The bases are a flawless mixture of Magic and Tech, all origins welcome however. We attempt to schedule at least one TF a week, with hopes of others who can lead them too.
  17. Ah poo, I haven't been in since issue 11, and from what I'm told, I only got in cuz someone added an extra 0 to the number of invites that were suppose to go out :P

    I think I should be considered due to the amount of time I'd spend trying to break the system and do things you don't want me to, in order to hone the build you first give us o.o I also have a considerable amount of source material to invent with, my RP guild is currently on Arc #3 of our own stories integrating lore with our own origins and backstories. Given that the five mission limit may be in effect, I think I'd like a shot at consolidating the massive story arcs we've been brainstorming into the equal of Kalinda's first round :P

  19. My only two cents is my immediate reaction is that this was implemented to make us stay longer in the game crafting to get that badge. Almost like damage control.

    You know I appreciate Posi sitting down and talking to us about this. I know we badgers aren't considered really a player base thats worth talking to by some.

    It does mean alot. Of course the moment *I* saw the ability to do this in that mission set I called everyone I knew and told them to get it while it lasted, I thought it was an error on thier part, and to get a screenie in case it was becuase surley they'd take it away from us. :P
