Yeah, I tried joining "Freedom Badge" last night but it's full. I was hoping another one of the attendees would be a member of the channel and could broadcast it. I am going to advertise on some other channels.

Hey all-

I would like to set up a Swiss Draw tournament for Friday night (2/26/10) on Freedom server in order to earn that particular badge.

The tournament requires 8 to 64 players. I would prefer to keep it to 8, however a few extra won't hurt much. We'll take turns "winning" the tournament until we all have the badge.

Yeah, the way I did it was "Last man standing" with the duels. One defeat ended it. Got the 10 badges in about 45 minutes that way (the other guy getting them too).

Also, I agree with waiting a few seconds after the duel to get credit. Once I didn't and the badge showed a few minutes later.

Because bases are just like instanced missions. We can't log out in those either.

I do want to get this Swiss tournament together. I'll post a new thread on here and see who we can get.

FYI-

Just did this with my badger using second account to set up a pentad then a septad. It worked for the pentad but not the septad. I ran the septad twice and did not get the badge.

Funny, I was thinking of posting about this on here. I was wanting to set up the tournaments (the ones needing more than 2 people) so those of us that needed the badges could get them. No, I am not interested in being a big PvP guy and earning these on those rare occasions that anyone uses the arena. I just wanted to see if anyone needed these and was willing to spend a bit of time knocking these out. Anyone interested?

I want a market interface for bases.

It's pretty survivable and a lot of fun. Usually my MA/SD scrapper will do the following:

1.) Focus Chi
2.) Shield Charge
3.) Dragons Tail
4.) Crane kick to the (usually) one survivor
5.) Move on to the next group undamaged.

Good times.

Best thing to do is do some base tours and get some ideas. Get on the BaseBuildersInc. global channel and ask these questions and also see if people will show you their bases.

So...no dual pistol belt? Where are we putting these guns when not in use?

If I was putting something in the teleporter room, I would add a "ready room" with lockers and weapon racks, or perhaps a guard post.
