    2 new 50's

    Congratulations to you both!
  2. Congratulations to Omega MCX who got his scrapper, Bloodey Scrapper, to level 50 today!! Well done 'mega man
  3. If it helps I have heroes at the following levels: 5, 12, 16, 19, 22, before getting into my mains (37, 45 & 50). Am more than happy to use them to gain the safeguards for a team.
  4. Healing arrows will be at the ready! Provided I can escape the clutches of Tesco in time
  5. If you need another scrapper for this I'm more than happy to join in.

Focus has quite a good range for pulling AVs.
  6. Always a pity to hear of another vet hanging up the spandex. Make sure it's easily accessible, as I'm sure you'll be back before too long!

Have a good break, and keep well.
  7. Yay!! At long last! Congratulations!

Damn, just made me realise that Robo is still on 45, and I'm sure that we teamed together. Oh well, good things come to those who wait, and wait, and then wait a bit longer

You now have a short period of time to get the PB fascination out the way, before returning to... Men In Tights!

    Crazy SG idea?

Yay, even more so as I am about a week behind everyone else in getting immersed into I9.

Maybe we can get the MiTs to form a guard of honour for when Aero dings 50 (Ms Liberty when it happens I presume?)

    Hami Done

Well done guys (& gals). Pity I missed it, but there will be others, I hope!

    Crazy SG idea?

I won't be online this weekend guys, no broadband still (2-3 days before repaired).

    Good luck with the TF.

    HAMIDON RAID!

Scratch me from this. Broadband won't be repaired for another 2-3 days (a known issue brought about by Virgin Media's updating of the digital tv channels). No online activities at all over the bank holiday weekend, it had better be a sunny one!

    HAMIDON RAID!

If, and that should be a big IF, Virgin Media sort my broadband out tomorrow (8 days without being online - it hurts), I'll be there. Probably as Robo as he has recall friend.

Well the order of the crucified swords is still going despite a few members going awol for a while (hopefully they will return once i9 is back up) But we are still chugging along nicely despite most our members playing with heroes lately, We would most likely have started recruiting again if it wasnt for the 75 characters rather then globals thing since a lot of us have several characters each. Anyway the swords are still alive and kicking

    [/ QUOTE ]

Alive, breathing, but not a lot more. As Omega said, most swords activity has been on the "good" side recently. Hopefully I9 will bring back a few of the regulars who wandered off to try other games.
  14. Am up for this.

And will spread the word around the swords (well, those that are left!). Hopefully be back online this weekend, broadband engineer permitting.

Apologies for my absence in game since last Thursday, but we have lost our Broadband connection at home. NTL / Virgin Media have an engineer coming out to us this Friday to hopefully resolve the problem (this after 6 conversations with their Broadband support team where the same connectivity tests were done ad infinitum). Very annoying as I was all set for some TF fun as well

As to a trip to Bristol on the 12th, I will check the family calendar this evening.

    Crazy SG idea?

and just when I thought that life was getting back to normal...Virgin Media step in!

Our digital box was updated yesterday (so we lost the order of our favourite channels). Somehow we have also lost connectivity to our Broadband! After about 75 minutes of talking through the problem, and trying various solutions with the Broadband Support team, they have come to the conclusion that the problem is with my firewall, and that I should contact my PC vendor to resolve the problem.

That means another fun filled evening speaking to a support team coming up. Until I can get this sorted I can't get online from home

    Hi guys, am back!

This Sunday - will be playing cricket, so can't make anything planned for the evening.

This Friday is a possability, I will see if I can get there on time (6pm can be a tad early for me as I tend to get home from work any time between 6pm and 6.30pm - traffic permitting).

    Crazy SG idea?

I may have to miss this one, as the curse of being the only one in the family that drives has hit hard today! Worthing to Brighton to Worthing to Southampton to Littlehampton to Worthing. And I've another Brighton trip yet to make!

    Good luck with the TF

    Crazy SG idea?

I think the OotCS is at the maximum level for coalitions, I'll check next time I'm on.

As to global chat (another area where I'm currently at the maximum!) - how about...The Herald?

    Crazy SG idea?

The teaming is fun, and bouncing the lines from the movie off each other just adds to the hilarity. Only one team wipe last night (whilst I was on anyway), so someone failed in the healing duties

    Crazy SG idea?

Maybe we should put our globals in the character bio so we know who is who?

Even then i'll still forget, but it's a start!

    Crazy SG idea?

We've been very good so far, the spread of levels isn't too bad. But once we hit SK range it will be a lot easier.

What will be interesting is when we get more than 8 on and we can do mission races.

It would be good to arrange a time for everyone to be on so we can get a "Rob Hood & his band of Merry Men (or Women)" photo.

As for names, think we were still looking for Asneeze (Achoo's father), Latrine (a witch like cook), Rabbi Tuckman, Don Giovanni, Filthy Luca, Dirty Ezio, Nigel the Thick...but any name will do (if you can give it a Mel Brooks feel then all the better!).

By the way, the SG Base has got to be referred to as Sherwood Forest!

umm, would you believe insurance? Them were crazy days.

Now I have visions of a Monty Pythonesque style sketch of businessmen wearing tights.
