  2. Form Feet and Legs...

    Form...Arms and Torso....

Umm...guys......arms and torso? Where did they go NOW?!?
  3. Nothing near the quality in this thread but I have started on one of my own.

The shot is an assault blast hitting my main as he was getting up from a knockback. Had a look of hims struggling against the energy.
  4. Wow, dats purdy!

My powers are lined up nice, attacks in tray 1 with filler attacks on 1 and 2, damage attacks 3,4,5 and so on. Toggles on tray 2 with overflow on Tray 3. Temp powers on external Tray 4 on the right side.

However my inspirations never get sorted. I tend to do a lot of combining however, so I end up with a tray full of one type, usually Blues or Purples depending on the team.
  5. Just made some minor updates to the story.

    - Corrected some minor typos
    - Created weak version of EB from Mission 3 to simulate damage you did to him.
    - First EB in Mission 4 (The weak version) is set to Rogue. Former healing ambush now attacks EB and player. Story updated for this.

Last mission is a bit less difficult at the start but retains the end difficulty.
  6. You organize the inspiration tray??
I have never thought of doing that. Just too easy to go and click what I want.

  7. Ok....befunky is very addicting

Back on topic I LOVE the Rikti pic. I would be hard pressed to find any sign that it was not hand drawn, outside of scouring for brush strokes.

Is there a tutorial for the technique you are using to convert the screenies?
  8. Thank you both. Great feedback.

The last mission balance has been a bit of a pain for me. I am trying to create a challenge that requires some thinking before charging in. It seems to work better with some AT's and players than others.

I will get the typos updated and take a look at the layout of the final mission. I may be able to put a weakened MK-IV in, to simulate damage from the first encounter.

I missed those bits of dialogue, so I think it would make it okay. I'm still a littel sketchy on a robot (becoming self-aware or not) ratting out the plan.
To fit everything I wanted and not have the text be too long and boring I had to remove some of the reasoning behind this. The MK-IV (Previously called MK-II, that is why the text is confused in some parts) helps you because it knows if Dark Veil is arrested he will no longer have a master and will be free. Upon it's defeat it helps you for no other reason that to gain freedom.

I can try to work a bit of that back into he story however I am worried about putting in too much "Fluff" and have it take away from the core missions.

And I have to ask...how did you make it so I got robotic pets? This one is boggling my mind.
As of I15 we are able to pick Pets for Allies. Before that we could do it as Boss Spawns only. They spawn with no upgrades as allies and you can not control them but I found the -regen to be helpful in the final encounters. It is odd since spawning them as bosses gets full upgrades, but it works well for the mission context.

Going over my notes along with both of your posts I have a few corrections in mind

    - Remove MK-III from auto spawn. They will still show up as Boss Spawns, and it will make the final escape spawns more managable.

    - Clone MK-IV for final encounter and remove some powers. This will simulate him being weaker due to your previous battle. I may also move him to the back end of the mission.

    - Increase spawn size of Longbow help + Ally Assault bots. Longbow is a throw away but they can disrupt the healing spawns a bit.

    And correct the typos

These forums are afraid of me. I have seen it's true face. The threads are extended gutters and the gutters are full of meaningless posts and when the drains finally scab over, all the Forum Games posters will drown. The accumulated spam of all their "rate the person above you posts" will foam up about their wastes, and when all the thread spammers and post padders of CoH will look up and shout "Save us!"

And I'll look down and whisper....

Tell me about it. I had my tags deleted without notice or warning and for no reason at all.

I just want people to know how much I like pie......
  13. The tunnels under Grandville and Faultline come close to that type of feeling for me. Faultline in particular as you stumble upon buried super group bases and groups of arachnos working to dig them out. Then you get to a point and you are on the other side of the war wall.

  15. I would love some feedback on my arc. I have tried to make it interesting with complex mechanics, chained objectives, and surprises. Some people seem to like it, some don't. Always looking for more feedback.

  16. Rage 1-2 slotted?!?! Are you mad?

That would be like keeping ht default slot in FootStomp and putting a knockback in it. Not only do the slots in Rage give you a nice place to slot +tohit sets but Double stacking Rage is too much fun not to have. Especially if you are building for +dam. The +ToHit should not be ignored ether as it is a very nice bonus and will keep your attacks on target.

Rage+Rage+Fiery Embrace is 10 seconds of pure damage goodness topped with 20 seconds of Blazing Aura+Consume topping. Yes, at 240% damage boost Consume does a nice chunk of damage. Not near FootStomp but enough to make me smile as my endurance bar fills.

True, but thanks to Mender Silos we have the ability to go back in time and become our own grandfather. Thereby allowing several versions of us to exist in the same timespace. Being that only a single version can exist in any given timespace this is corrected by micro-paradoxes in our personal timelines, allowing us to maintain the same relative age to our reallife counterparts even in the face of hundreds of years.

    Late Game: 41 - 49 (Epic/ Patron pool availability)

This for me as well. Level 40 was the point where almost all zones were opened up, allowing me near limitless access. I would almost call 45+ End-Game if only because the Hammi raid really opens up at that point and Shadow Shard TF's are workable.

    Nononono...

1 - It will be birthday PIE! Not cake...it's a lie

2 - 6 CoH years. If I remember my calculations correctly our CoH toons experience one day for every hour we experience, based on a full day/night cycle.

Assuming that and based on one year our time = 8760 hours then our toons experience 24 years for every one year we live through. This means my 6 year old toon is actually 144 CoH years old. That is not only old enough to work on a farm, but he should be sitting on the front porch with a shotgun and a straw in his mouth talking about back in the day when the dust would swirl up and cover Atlas park while lowbies had to go to Perez Park as part of their training.

(Math may be slight wrong, very wrong, or made up. Pie is real)

    SD/SS oddness

Rage is working as intended. You get a massive -dam penalty even if they overlap. What you will not see is the -def penalty, that is negated when you have a second Rage running.

SO's decrease effectiveness depending on color, signifying the number of levels plus or minus from your level. If it was green and is now white you will see a decrease. Same goes for White to Yellow. Red means it is no longer offering any benefit to you.

My Shield/SS is still to low to comment on your first question.
  21. What else am I going to do on my 6 year old level 50?
  22. I think the best thing that could have happened was for SD and Elec to be Tank sets. Now we have measuring sticks to gauge the performance of Fire/.

    My thoughts:

Bump FE duration to 30 seconds. Set 20 seconds for all damage, 30 for just fire. Increase all damage % to 85%.

Scrap burn. It will never be the "Wall of Fire" concept it was designed to be. Replace with PbAoE with high Aggro and slightly lower base damage. No fear effect and it will benefit from the updated Fiery Embrace. Increase target limit to 10.

Up S/L resistance by 5% in Fire Shield.
  23. How well do Lightning Rod and Shield Charge work together? Was thinking about a SD/Elec once it goes live just for this combo, but I am wondering if two teleports is just overkill or not.
  24. End Game - Final Move (17006)

The main protagonist has an army of robotic minions that you will have to face over the four mission arc. Some are old favorites ranging from purchased Malta titans to Zenith Warcries purchased from the Black Market. Newer models of robotic minions fill out the roster and include the use of Assault Robots as boss encounters, mostly for flavor.
