AR/Kin here. It's a lot of fun.

I want to see how negative I can go. Ah, hell I'll just disable it. I don't need to start some flame war with a real troll to see if they can out-negative me.

The only blast set with three rapidly recharging damage AoEs. The big hitter, the tier three blast is also its major single target control power. Extra Accuracy in most powers (this may be boring, but its not normal).

The secondary effect is nice, the the AoE's aren't worth much. The set is nowhere near the AoE champ, nor the single target champ. It's middling all the way.

Energy/Kin are a lot of fun to play. At first glance the sets wouldn't seem to mesh well, but the knockback does provide some mitigation that Kin can lack.

I feel this way too. I know it's in my head, but it's still there. I've just never bonded with the set because of it.

That suits me fine, I enjoy Claws. Hopefully there will be a good balance of AoE and single target damage powers in Dual Pistols.

I know some people are against it, but some of the elemental shots Gunslingers have would be cool.

This is complete crap.

You don't even use EB's best attack, Power Burst, which is available to you at lvl10. You are also using one of the few Defender primaries with no means of self buffing your damage or recovering health.

The Scrapper should be able to get through the mission more quickly, and due to his killing speed, more safely than the Defender can.

If you can't get through this mission on your Defender, the problem is you not the AT.

Possibly. But I agree the radius would need to be reduced for it to be used in anything approaching a tactical manner.

I can't see it functioning well in Force Bubble. Repulsion Bomb however goes in rather seamlessly. It would also be nice if they added a -Def component to Force Bolt or just upped the damage of on that some.

Well, to explain further, I thought Force Bubble could be changed to a PBAoE with a slow, -rech, and -res effect. I always thought that would be a fun power.

I've been arguing for a -res effect to be added to a FF power since about I4 or so. Good luck with that one.

Personally, I'd love to see it added to Force Bubble.

For blast sets, Fire, AR and Dark are the AoE champs. Ice is good, and has fantastic single target and control, but is nowhere near as good at AoE as Dark.

For melee sets, Super Strength is tops.

As Linea said though, the Villain Epic ATs Crab and Huntsman, are great at AoE as well.
