  1. The usual suspects for new Patrons are usually Crey, Council and Nemesis.

    Crey: SR/Inv toggles/clicks, MA/Energy based attacks, toggle/auto buffs ala Targetting Drone/other

Council: Military training/defensive toggles, heavy weapons (flamethrowers, miniguns, rocket launchers), summon troops

    Nemesis: Buffs/debuffs, toggle/auto defences, snipes/long ranged attacks/AoEs
  2. It's where something's at the point where it could still be buffed higher but it wouldn't actually make it any better. With Defence it's 45% as enemies have a 50% chance to hit (usually) and will always, no matter what, have a 5% chance to hit. The defence could be made higher, but it wouldn't really do anything.
  3. Seeing as it's level 36 would guess it was a level bump on the Test server

Would be fun to one-shot AVs for a day, but would get very old very quick (even over 24 hours).

*runs in* Lucky number 13 please! Have wanted to do something like this for a while, but lack of costume parts/powersets has been the only thing in the way, so sign me up!
  5. Buh-What!? No, these changes can't be right

    [ QUOTE ]
    Weapon Mastery
Targetting Drone (in place of Web Grenade, same stats as FA)

    [/ QUOTE ]

This is a useful power, how could they replace it? Aren't APPs supposed to add powers to an AT which they couldn't have before? And, naturally, the Scrapper being a melee AT, isn't an ST immob (with -Fly) needed? Not liking this change, it doesn't make sense to me.

    [ QUOTE ]
    Ice Mastery
Freezing Rain (in place of Ice Storm) -30% Speed for 25 secs, -20% Speed for 25 secs after 10 sec delay, -10% resist/defence for 25 secs, 76 ticks of 0.33 damage

    [/ QUOTE ]

Argh, I can see why this could be a good change but range AoE damage and control for a Tanker (to me) made this Epic likable

    [ QUOTE ]
    Electric Mastery
Conserve Power (in Place of Shocking Bolt)

    [/ QUOTE ]

...No. Just no. Like I said earlier, APPs were supposed to give them an AT powers to fill in the gaps, powers they couldn't really get in normal sets. So, replacing the ST hold in Elec Mastery for a power you can already get in Energy Manipulation, and not replace a cone attack which Blasters can already get, it just doesn't work.

    [ QUOTE ]
    Leviathian Mastery
KO Blow (in place of Bile Spray)
108.88 Smashing Damage, Mag 3 Hold

    [/ QUOTE ]

To me, this is the best PPP for /Poison Masterminds simply because of Bile Spray, now they've taken it away the want to get mine to 41 has gone, and I'm sure others feel the same.

In all, not happy, changing powers to make them work a little different, that's fine, as long as it's still the same power in essence, but completely swapping powers which you have to work hard for to get to towards the end of the game just isn't good, they should either have a vote on the powers or give people a choice between either type of Epic/Patron pool (same way VEATs choose between build types).

To the other changes, pretty sure there're many other players who will not like these as they're all pretty dramatic and most are unneeded.

Think the waistcoats are jacket options, but can see where you're going with that and it would be awesome

  8. An ST energy-powered kick for Energy Melee

Toggle +dam for Devices (About 30%)

    Headbutt/charge attack in Super Strength

Toggle damage attack as a constant stream of fire at a single enemy in Fire Blast (heck, one for each blast set)

    Self heal in Elec

A Nerve Pinch type attack for Martial Arts, ST hold with superior damage

A cone hold in Ice Blast, make it look like Frost breath but coming from the hands and only have a short hold (like 4 or 5 seconds) with minor DoT

Would love a power for Robot Masterminds which lets them use the Assault Bot like a power suit, so they get their powers/health, like Khelds have their shapeshifting powers. Perhaps make it another upgrade so they can become any of the bots

Give Fire Armour Inferno from Fire Blast but change it so it also takes your health down to 10% after use.
  9. It's been done.

    There were no survivors.
  10. Semi agree, from a game point of view Crabs should have KB res (as should Banes), but if you look at a Crab Spider they are very top heavy so it's understandable how they can be knocked over by a gust of wind

  11. A quick mock-up of a Dual Pistols set;

    Pistols

    Dual Wield

    Empty Clips

Incendiary Round (Dual Wield with moderate fire DoT afterwards, 2x recharge)

Impossible Shot (ST snipe, superior damage, half interrupt time than normal snipes)

Reload (Aim with a 30 second recharge, 1.5 second interrupt)

Cover Fire (180 degree cone, moderate DoT, foe -tohit(7% unenhanced))

Cripple (ST -speed(20 seconds, -40%), moderate DoT, 30% chance for immob(15 seconds, enhancable))

Eat Lead (PBAoE extreme damage, 5 tick DoT over 6 second animation, during animation player defence is buffed by 30%(unenhancable) and resistance by 50%(unenhancable), 60 second recharge)

Main idea of the set being quick recharging attacks, lots of DoT and soft control, like a cross between Archery and Claws.
  12. He smiled, "Right away." And made the drink. Afterwards, he looked around the room, watching the hands deliver the drink to the gentleman in the corner, then to the new arrival just entering, muttering under his breath "Anyone would think this was a formal event.."

Smiling as the man walked up to the bar, he quickly made his drink. Glancing at the wad of money, he replied "We sure do sir." Then, sniffing the air, his smile turned to a smirk, "Aah, you're human.."
  13. The Barman sighed a little, "I'm sorry Miss, I can't give you a drink without knowing what you want. I got beers, wines, spirits (not just the alcoholic kind either), juices and bloods, or just plain water. Take your pick and I'll be happy to serve you some."

As he spoke with the shape-shifter, the gloves refilled Sanguine's drink. The door at the front opened, a large man in a suit stepped in, looking around the bar. He pushed up his glasses and adjusted his watch before sitting down in a corner. He signalled the hands to come over, he ordered a drink and sat patiently as the hands went back to the bar.
  14. Dual Pistols, Clown MMs, staff Scrappers, Claws Brutes, Street Fighting, all the most asked for powersets I think.
  15. The Barman gave the Guardian a puzzled look, his eyes and voice changing to their 'normal' way, a lightbulb in his head going off. "So miss, what would you like?"

Meanwhile, the gloves served Leeches her drink, one hand doing an OK sign while the other gives a thumbs up
  16. Like CD said, it's one of the most suggested ideas (especially in more recent times/after Thugs Masterminds came out) but it's certainly one of the most wanted

Tis expected to have a combo system ala Dual Blades or have several controls/debuffs and many DoTs.
  17. The Barman reappeared, the hands serving Primogen's drink. He looked around the bar, spotting the Longbow woman he walked up to her, his eyes a little bloodshot. Checking for a weapon, he spoke in a near demonic voice. "The costume legit? If it ain't you better have a good reason for dressing like that around here."
  18. The Barman's phone went off, the ringtone a heavier version of Lordi's Blood Red Sandman. "Hey, what's so important that- Oh, oh no! Yeah, I'll be there right away, just- No, gimme a mo." Raising both arms he spoke out to the bar, "I gotta go folks but I'll leave you in these capable hands." he gestured to the gloves, waited for a little while for any laughs then teleported.

(( Heading off for the day, any drinks/problems will be dealt with by the hands, if there's a fight they will not hesitate to pick up the angry people and throw them out ))
  19. The Barman looked at Wild Red, his eyes going a little bloodshot from the rudeness. He clicked the gloves over to get her order. He then turned his attention to Sharrapu, "Certainly Miss." He poured out a glass of vodka with a squeeze of lemon then passed it to her.
  20. The gloves returned to the Barman, he slapped one and nodded towards Ravenna, taking the money they had collected. They headed towards her, refilling her drink.
  21. He passed Edward a full bottle of vodka and a shot glass, taking the money, then turning to the newcomer. "Made this place for those of this world who can't be seen in public without someone screaming about a monster or raising a mob of angry villagers. Welcome to the Bar of the Damned, what may be your order?"

Meanwhile, the hands made their way to the Countess, taking the money with one hand while the other does a thumbs up.
  22. Two large men, if you could call them that, came out from the back. Their skin was a dull grey and expressions emotionless, both wearing fancy suits with the odd patch cleanly sewn in, their hulking arms carrying large padded cases towards the door. The barman shortly followed them, making sure they don't do anything wrong. Smiling, he turned to the Countess, "I believe that is everything on the list, do not worry about paying for it, think of it as a gift. Although, donations are appreciated." With the last word he winked.

Teleporting behind the bar he smiled at Mechano, his gloves floating over to see to Ravenna. "Nice pice of hardware you got there. So, what will it be sir?" He then looked to the woman who just entered, giving the universal sign of 'I'll be with you in a minute'.
