Yep, this is still set for next weekend.
So you still have time to grab a set of shivans and a Mech.
Hope to see everyone there. -

Come the 27th we will lay waste to the Mothership!
And do it in style. -

Badge's RRR most likely is gonna go with June 20

The Robots are also going to be smashed on the 27th but since you are starting at 5 EST and the Bots battle at 9:30 EST folks can first head over and take out Hami then eat their Jello while taking on Rikti. -

so whats the date decison on this?
[/ QUOTE ]
Sorry it took so long to confirm the date but itsa busy month here in the Badge Cave.
The date is going to be Saturday June 27th.
This gives everyone ample time to get at least a Vanguard Mech and a set of Shivans, plus if anyone wants to grab a Longbow Mech they have lots of time to do so.
Hope to see you all there. -
Ok, since its come to my attention that KJSR is having their big fundraiser on the 6th I've decided to move this event to a later date in June.
It will be either on the 13th or 20th. I'll know for sure at the end of this week what day for sure.
On a plus side this gives up more time to make sure we all get a Mech plus everyone can partake in the huge auction that is coming up on the 6th to support KJSR!
So first we bid. Then we bash! -
All are welcome, but I don't want to set a limit on which toons to bring.
Although having even more bots running around is never a bad thing. -
Aye its in the PM. And as far as the bombs go I'm sure they will be gotten too. I just want to get us into the centre of the ship before it happens. Once we are there folks can go out in tandem or whatnot and plant them.
This makes sure that a wayward bomb doesn't take out us and our Mechs.
Plus we get to have the AV spawn right on top of us. -
Personally I spend alot more of my time on Blue side than Red but if you are looking for things to do you might want to set up Strike Forces or such on the forums here.
Just set up your own events and run them, that way you can fit them in around your schedule. -
Team Debt Cap in association with the Robotic Fighting League and the ARA (Anti-Rikti Agenda) proudly present:
The Great Rikti Robot Rampage! (G.R.R.R.)
On Saturday, June 6 at 9:30EST we are going to attack the Rikti vessal and have the mother of all robot battles on the Mothership.
What I need from everyone that can is to stockpile a Vanguard Mech and a Longbow Mech as well if possible.
The Vangaurd Mech are fairly easy to get, but please start stockpileing those merits now.
The Longbow mech is a little harder to aquire but if anyone can bring them out too would be appreciated.
As well as the Mechs please stockpile shivans and Nukes if you can. Since we are going to need all the support we can get.
Come game day we will gather up at Point du Hoc, clear the pylons as normal. Then we will all gather up on top the ship. We will not plant bombs, but toss out Mechs and fight our way to the centre. From there we will stage our last stand against the oncoming Hordes!
Any Tankers that want to run out, gather up a few hundred Rikti and bring them back to the party are welcome too.
Imagine it, 50+ Heroes, 50+ Mechs, an army of Shivans and the odd Nuke flying through the air.
All against a never ending army of aliens bent on world domination and destruction!
Personally, I have a side bet with the Rikti General on who is going to win.
So come one, come all to the greatest Rikti showdown Team Debt Cap has to offer! -
You never did answer me, did you ever beat the mission yourself?
And do the hostage rescues keep spawning more hostages? -

Played as a lvl 40 fire/fire brute. It's an interesting concept, and most of the dialog was pretty funny. I would suggest something else for Citadel to say because "team debt c" doesn't really make any sense. I know the character limit hurts that type of dialog, but for those like me that took the time to translate it, "team debt c" wasn't worth it. Also, from a story perspective, the sewers is a bad choice. I get the feeling you picked it because of the layout, but having the big clusterbuster in the final room is hit or miss. If you hit, it's a great feeling to have cleared it (I've ran one arc in this room that I soloed my way out of, barely, and it IS a good feeling). BUT, if you miss, it feels impossible to succeed, especially after all the heroes are dead. Also, for all the heroes, go to the plural nav text and write "heroes to save". And for all the villains, do the same and write "villains to fight". So you see 8 heroes to save, 6 villains to fight, instead of the big long list of all their names.

Thanks for running it. For the Citedal chatter totally my error. He's supposed to say "Team Debt Cap For teh Win" which is an inside joke on Protector. Not sure what happened with him getting cut off. But I'll look into fixing it.
And yeah I picked the layout since I wanted to make sure there was only one way to get to the end room. That way you didn't miss some hero on the way and have to go back and clear it after finishing all the others.
I agree that last room can be quite the challenge but I liked the idea of having so much carnage in such a small space. -

So it really makes the mission almost a Defeat All. Plus you have to account for the ambushes that spawn when you free a hostage to start with.
For an eight-man team against a one-man spawn that shouldn't be too hard.
For bonus points, send in a level 1 first, then bring in seven 50s.

With the size of the map, the ambushes that spawn, the glowies with the long click time and the fact you have to walk each hostage out the door personally I think even an 8 man team on a one man map would be hard.
Plus by the time you've entered it solo, spawned the map and then invited everyone in you've probably wasted at least a minute already. -
Thought of that but you need to clear the map of everything that moves too since the hostages that spawn run towards the mobs and then are attached to them. Even though the mobs start killing them.
So it really makes the mission almost a Defeat All. Plus you have to account for the ambushes that spawn when you free a hostage to start with.
And the fact that alot of the mobs use AoEs that hurt the hostages and you can fail lots of times just by trying to lead them out through the maze.
The missions only 15 minutes to start with and you need at least one minute of that to click on the pointless glowies. Thats if you don't get interupted at all during them. But with the insane amount of mobs in there its almost a certanity that you will at least once.
Not saying that its an impossible mission (unless the amount of spawnable hostages is just designed to make it that way by eating up the time ) but I don't think I'll try again to beat it.
Its a challenge thats for sure but its also not what I would call fun.
