I'm back too, but I don't have a big enough ego to make my own thread. I'm more of the screenshots, comment, and lurk type of poster too.

I have a few.

My main hero Wyndine is inspired by Nina from the Breath of Fire games. Not a remake of the character, just of the same race/world.

I also have one that was inspired by the Golgothan from Dogma. A Dark/Stone Brute named Rubber Poo Monster.

Of course, early on I also made an easy homage, the invisible woman with light blue tights, the horoscope symbol that looks similar to a number 4, the scarred eye face, and a bio involving the other unnamed companions who had died. And she was named the Invisible Storm.

I think there was a few others, but none are very memorable.

As another occasional poster, I'm on every server except Freedom, with my highest heroes mostly on Pinnacle, and my favorite villains mostly on Liberty. For a list of my characters above 25:

I feel the need to slightly update this with the new IO sets in I13. Notably the new hold sets which should work well in Ice Arrow. Also I'll have to look at the one or two new patron powers added. Been juggling around a lot of characters, old and new with I13 and now this is another thing on my to-do list.

Now if only all this will keep me occupied until I14 open beta!

Ok, I know I'm not getting much interest, but I like what I see. I forgot about this on Sunday as I was intending to be a weekly contest-ish-thing...Oh I know! Challenge! It's like a contest, but without prizes. But anyway.

This weeks contest is a challenge: Duality of name!

What I mean by this is a name with two completely different costumes that each have a different take on their name. As a silly example: A character named "Hammertime" with one costume like a steelworker with a sledgehammer, and the second costume with bright purple puffy pants like MC Hammer. Let's see if you're up to the challenge!

You can check out one of the Burnt Matchsticks (see sig) to see if any of them inspire you. And yeah shouting "free art" in the art forum is like dropping a cow in a pool of piranhas. I'd like to drag out that great art of the forum rush, but don't feel like searching for it right now (and don't want to lose any more places in the queue )

Honestly, I didn't notice that combo when I made mine. It's fun! And I enjoy my character too: Necro/Storm MM.

Oooh, I would love to have a gold title on top too! Pwetty pweease Ex?

As a side note, I really feel the need to throw in a couple "mushroom mushroom" in my bio.

edit... like 7: now I realize why I didn't do that one too. I did notice it, but I don't have vet titles yet.

MS Paint here, it doesn't always look pretty, but it does the job.

I also think it looks pretty good, maybe just a little dull. Maybe if you picked some colors to give it a bit more contrast?

Since there's not really any prize associated with this, and there's been so little interest it's kind of unfair to pick a winner, it's not a problem if you post from a previous week's theme. I just like seeing these kind of things.

That said, yeah I do think that has a bit of a wonderland theme. Very nice indeed. Loving Crimson Cresent and Penelope Strange as well. Keep 'em coming!

Ok, only a couple entries, and I didn't get around to mine, but anyway lets try this again.

This week's theme: Beauty in Evil

In other words, a character that is beautiful, but you can tell just by their look that they are pure evil.

(as a side note, this one is something that I want to create for myself and would like some inspiration.)

Open your powers menu, click on the top to see your combat statistics, right click on anything you want to monitor and select monitor attribute. You can pick up to 10.

Just posting with an update for my second bio for my Brute (and the only male). I also really really like how he looks in this screenshot. The flames turned out really beautifully.

Now that I'm getting into bios, I'm really starting to hit the wall of the bio character limit as you can tell when you read this. I still haven't thought of how I want to tie the others together. Haven't really even thought about their backstories just yet at all. I think I want to have one other involved in this house fire, and I haven't yet decided how it actually started. I just like the idea of one event, that's not even a huge event (aside from Emily's point of view), that effects the lives of several people in different yet parallel ways.

I kind of wish this thread wasn't called Costume Help, but I don't want to make a new thread because I don't like making new threads if there's an old one where this fits into perfectly fine.
