Erm...I don't recall what numbers they are, but both male and female face options include a Supernatural face with whited out eyes. Granted, the female one looks overly psychotic, but it functions. Apply mask as desired. Kind of a crappy pic to show the mask, but it's all I have onhand. It looks very Robin-ish.

Two words: Machine Guns. They are the single most common defense debuffing attack in the game, and /Regen has zero defense debuff resistance. And no matter where the enemy is in relation to you, machine guns will ALWAYS apply their attack against your ranged and lethal defense, meaning all that melee defense you worked so hard at getting will be stripped away by 3 bursts of machine gun fire. 4 will put you in the negative.
There are a lot of enemy groups in the game that use machine guns, so that scenario would be happening quite frequently. With Smashing/Lethal defense, it will still happen, just not as fast, and you can pop a luck or two to avoid complete defense failure.
After all Type Defense tends to be deflecting while Positional Defense tends to be dodging.
Sure one could just say dodging on the other, but it's a reason. -

Yeah, you can't change the color of the white, due to the skin color using the other color pattern, but it would work if the piece has a color set in. -

Currently the evidence supports the legal standpoint. Whether it is ultimately right or wrong depends on one's point of view.

If giving us these magic fingers that people seem adamant about means having a different art style than we currently have, I don't want em!
I've seen that other MMO with the fingers. Both of them. I didn't care for their art styles at all (more the first than the second). -
I see no reason they can't bring back whoever they killed.
That's a comic book staple. Kill off a signature character and then bring them back!
Of course, with Sister Psyche, Citadel and Numina there's easy ways to reverse this, and it could lead to the signature story arcs after the "Who will die" set of arcs.
Whoever has died. Now it will be "The Search for Spock"
However, if they want to keep it permanent, Synapse is still the best bet imo. -

There's lots of wiggle room between the DB combo system and no combo system, it doesn't have to be one or the other.
I just don't see what's so hard about DB's combo system. Unless these are people using attacks like Whirling Sword on a single target.
You're hitting buttons, with DB if you hit them in a certain order for a bigger pay off. If you don't, you're doing exactly what you do with other powersets...damage.
And with all the talk that happens ont he forums with optimal attack chains, that's basically the combos without the combo effect.
Do people who run Storm Kick-CS-SK-CAK automatically switch to a different chain when SK misses on their martial artists?
And really, what do the combos do for Dual Blades? Just add more damage. Okay Weaken doesn't, but it's also considered a rather weak combo to use in the first place.
For those who just use whatever power is up, can still do that with Dual Blades and be as effective as all the other Primary options. -
Letting you preview the animations in the character creator is all you need imo.
If people care about the number crunching aspect more, then they can judge by the numbers or ask about it in game or on the forums. -

Not that they'd be that evil...
Meaning, yes they gave the player a choice, but in the end they may think it's pointless as their choice didn't matter, and thus they'll complain and complain.
Kinda like the 1 on 1 fighting games. Yeah, you can win with any character, but when the next game comes out you'll see who actually won as the storyline continues. -

While I love Firefly, I really wonder how Capt Mal Reynolds got the number one spot, when the movie bombed, the show had like twelve episodes, and really if I went to 10,000 different people with a picture of Picard, Kirk and Mal, more people would recognize Picard and Kirk.

SJ may have more options for how to work the combos. These powers equal build ups, these power equal finishes. But it's still the same principle.
Click one power then the next then the next. -

As someone mentioned the LRSF...
Back Alley Brawler, Numina, Sister Psyche, and Manticore are still alive in the future.
Positron is mentioned as being used to power Lord Recluses machine.
That leaves Statesman, who is mentioned as being dead, Citadel and Synapse, both of which are said to be missing.
Now they could just think Statesman is dead and have no actual proof. This is a comic book staple story telling device. And I just don't picture Statesman being the type to stay dead, he's the CoH Superman.
Citadel and Synapse both need TF revamps more than any other. However Synapse needs it more than Citadel.
Missing could just as easily be dead. It could be the player characters know one of them is dead, but the Freedom Phalanx members don't.
Also, replacing a contact for a TF isn't out of the question. They removed the Calvin Scott TF after all.
My first guess...Synapse. Does it really matter that there's a dev using the name? Nope. We have a dev using the name War Witch, and War Witch is dead.
However I wouldn't put it past them to kill off Back Alley Brawler. Let's face it. Out of all of them, he's the one showing his age. So going out in a blaze of glory might be more to BABs style.
Still, he's in the LRSF as being alive in the future, and Synapse going out in a heroic fashion would be awesome as well.
In fact, they could kill off Synapse, then have him return through the use of the Speed Force! -
