So far we've got all non-European descended Americans pissed off, plus some blasters. In another thread, posters feverishly debate whether Koreans killed The Statesman.
New conspiracy theory: Cryptic is being controlled by the 5th Column... thought gone, they manipulate the minds of America through CGI-laden promotional movies!

The big scorpion guy looks like a Tank.. and he gets knocked flat while some sharky scrapper just shrugs it of? Uh oh.
[/ QUOTE ]He wasn't glowing, no rocky body, no armour auras, he either a) forgot his toggles (just got back form the evil hospital after Synapse blasted him) or b) he's a a blaster also and is just trying to tank or c) he's a scorptail/dark armour scrapper, that would explain his weakness.
[/ QUOTE ]
No, see...Mantocire's armor caused some kind of electric Hold. It worked on both of them, but the shark had a 'break free' inspiration. That's all.
[/ QUOTE ]
Close, but no cigar. I think that Manticore fired two different arrows... one a 'taser' type arrow and one an explosive. He's that good. -

well...who said they was in Paragon City? As far as I know they was on Road Island (was it Road or Rouge?) the resone for this assumption is that the spider guy(brain dead right now, I can't remeber his name) homebase is on Road Island and well them hospitle recall devices must have a limted on them if you get what im saying.
[/ QUOTE ]I have no idea what you're saying.

/em seconded
[/ QUOTE ]I tried to use this Translator and still doesn't make any sense
[/ QUOTE ]
You guys either aren't trying very hard or are deliberately being obtuse to attempt to generate teh funi.
Synapse is defeated, and because the Rogue Islands are out of range of Paragon's hospital teleportation system, he can't go to the hospital. Simple. -
You may have something there. Or it could be an animal-esque villain body; In statements about villain costumes, the devs said they'd be... dang, I forget exactly, but it made me think of animal heads and other weirdness.
I feel like voting Coralax, though. -

Boondocker: Or Kublai Khan (if high on Opium).

Kublai: Whadya' mean 'no cool handle'! I've posted here before
I'm the other programmer going to E3. See you all there!
[/ QUOTE ]
Whoa. That's weird... I totally guessed the name! (Just ignore the other eleven misses.) Must have been subconciously buried in my brain. -

Me, Lord Recluse, Ravenshadow, Poz, Another programmer (no cool handle), Capt. Mako.

Please, get that poor ******* a cool handle before E3. You dont want him to be embarrassed do you?
[/ QUOTE ]
Let's let the forum give her or him a cool handle.
I propose: Wintergreen. Or perhaps Salmonella Man/Gal. Or Flukebot. Or the Vole King/Queen. Or Poker Face. Or Vermicious Knid. Or Lord/Lady Celery. Or Spanktacular. Or Shuffle Broad (if female). Or Sir Didn't Want To Come To This Con Anyway (if male). Or Kublai Khan (if high on Opium). -

And now that we know that the Tsoo are from a distinct asian ethnic group with a long history, unique language, and interesting culture,
[/ QUOTE ]
But it is very obvious that THEY ARE NOT. They dress absolutely nothing like the Hmong.
[/ QUOTE ]
That's a good enough reason to beat the poop out of them: they're denigrating traditional Hmong dress! Get 'em! -
This is one of the most interesting threads I've read in a while on these boards. (Maybe to bring it back in line, someone should find out how to say 'regeneration' in Hmong.) I too thought the Hmong were made up until I stumbled across the word on some internet site about two months ago. It's funny how much real world history keeps making it into the game, especially with Gilgamesh's newspaper articles. I expected Paragon to exist in a bubble, but it's slowly becoming more and more real.
And now that we know that the Tsoo are from a distinct asian ethnic group with a long history, unique language, and interesting culture, is it still okay to hate those rotten %$#&s when they throw down four sets of caltrops and set up a three-sorceror Hurricane-abetted healing convention? I say yes. -

And remember folks, make sure to have your scrappers spayed and/or neutered.

Damn your forum-attentiveness. That was my big line.
Oh well. Happy Birthday in any case.
And kudos to the OP, that was clever! -

WAtched a PB last night in the arena toy with an INV/Eng tanker last night. The tank had something like 53 victories against other ATs before the PB ate him. My guess is that they're going to be seriously nerfed for PvP.

Right on! I'm actually pretty stoked about building up my Khelds once Issue #4 goes live. I was just expressing my own past fruh-stray-shun with the aliens, which stems mainly from the fact that I didn't have any clue where I was going with them, and I was trying to solo. So most of my misery is self-inflicted. Couldn't resist the jab, though. -
[ QUOTE ]
Now for a hard question: How do you pronounce "Kheldian"?
[/ QUOTE ]
'Fruh-stray-shun.' Variants include, 'Dehtt,' 'Pay-pur Tie-gur,' and 'Eh-pick Ay-Tee Mie-ahs.' -
Sweet, my guide made the list! Brought back from the depths of obscurity!

I'd like to think Striga as a whole set a new standard. We're going to try to use it as our goal in future zones and in City of Villains...
[/ QUOTE ]
My personal, not-so-secret hope is that you'll use Striga as your goal for past zones as well, States. Faultline, Perez, Boomtown, DA... they could all use a little Striga-style attention, even if it's minor (one contact, one TF or trial, etc.). -

Here it is at last, Go. Hunt. Kill Skuls: The Epic Poem!
Set to the rhythm of Lewis Carrol's Jabberwocky, naturally.

Funniest "Kill Skuls" joke ever!I laughed, I cried, I wanted to read Jabberwocky again.

Thanks for the little things, Devs, like the fixes to the SG menu and getting the door bug out. Thanks for the medium things, like making sure you've got competent in-game support that's awesome 9 times out of 10, and posting on the boards so much. Thanks for the big things, like putting out an MMORPG that isn't just a re-hash, and for giving free content and planning for CoV to be part of the package.
Thanks!
