I'll clean that up tonight CR. And sometimes I go through the posts and find someone supportive, who I think doesn't have a lot of art or doesn't do it themselves and give them a freebie.

can anyone think of a "real life" animal that comes close to the imagery of a dragon, that
also dosent come close to a serpent?...

..im thinking maybe Lion or bear or shark..some type of alpha animal thats at the top of its food chain..
    Komodo dragon? Crocodile? Dinosaur?

    Okay, I'll nibble. Gemini, Rat.

Been a while since I've done some CoH work, so I thought I'd do a sketch of someone's character.

    Here's Vexxxa

    DA Link is here
  4. Excellent charcoal work Wassy.

    Happy VD!

I made creme brulee, but my valentine left town before she could get any. Who wants creme brulee?

Those are a neat idea to think creatively Foo... I like the garden gnome and the freakshow thumb puppet ones.
I guess 30" monitors would be okay backup for my 40" monitor.
  7. I'm really enjoying my life drawing class at community college. I think it cost around $250 and it goes for almost 6 months. Although I've spent another $150 on supplies at the front door. It's a very traditional way of learning, which I think is the fastest, most effective way to learn. The courses that promise miracles in minutes are selling snake oil... Apologies for the alliteration.

Learn the way of the old masters, and you'll be able to do anything you want. You can check my progress at my DeviantArt page, linked to a sketch due to having some nudes on the front page currently.
  8. I think a sky-diving reference may help you if you get stuck.

Hey what's the story with this one, are the eyes in the background supposed to be human or cat's (the irises)?
    Tigers have circular irises.
  10. Awesome piece! Graver puts out incredible stuff.

oops, late reply, but I didn't research the laser on latex thing. Just went with my instinct. Any ladies here wanna volunteer to get into latex and shine lasers on themselves and take photos for us?

Anyway, here is my next piece. It's a story I've had in my head for a while. I may try to make a short webcomic or something some day on it.

    Here is the DA link.
  12. I guess my wish is that I'll finish my book. I'm a third of the way through it. Also, I would like college to go more smoothly and veteran's affairs to go more smoothly for me too. Anyone who's dealt with them before knows that you have to wait months for your money, and it can get difficult quick.

I wish a good year for everyone.

...No she didn't. At least not that I know of. I just went by Eddy Swan's coloring. Not that it helped, hair is a tricky thing for me for some reason. I like the Michelle Pfieffer catwoman best anyway. She was a blonde right? I thought about doing her costume, and I still may.

And thank you VexXxa! I'm glad it actually came out looking shiny and not like she had a bunch of red crap on her.

    It was worth it!

    Here is the colored version.

I had a big series of windows with a beautiful city skyline better than I've ever done before and trashed it. Too distracting. I encourage anyone who wants to, to go to the DA page and download for the details.

As usual, comments and critiques are welcome.
  15. Digital. And I'm not doing pencil sketches. I don't have the materials, the cash to get them, or the patience to use them.
  16. First of all, congratulations! You must be so excited. It's something you should be proud of too. Nice job on the writing.
  17. This is awesome as usual. Say you were taking commissions, how much would one of these busts cost outside a convention? I've never been able to go to one, as much as I'd want to.
  18. If there's not a category for it, I've got a new one - Player's Pets.

    Here's my buddy, Ivan...

He's my buddy. A white German Shepherd/Husky mix. He's a rascal, a talker, and knows how to melt me when I've got snacks.
  19. Poor DarkEther. Look at that sad face avatar. When you come to virtue, global friend me. Everyone here can global friend me. @Blood Wolffe I believe. Or maybe there's an underscore or hyphen or no space in between. I can't remember.
  20. Good god that's horrific. No questions of that nature please.
  21. I say virtue.

    YIPE! Yipe! yipe...
  22. Her lips are thin compared to what we normally see in hero art, but not incorrect. I like the gun too. Not sure what else you'd want to do with it. It looks pretty finished
