Sounds like a very cool idea. Unfortunately I'm also terrible at drawing. Sorry not much help I know but thought i'd say it sounds cool anyway.

I rolled a rad/elec defender last night. I was wondering if it would be possible to play this toon without stamina? My thinking is that with some responsible slotting of end redux enhancements on my toggles, coupled with short circuit and AM I shouldn't have any problems. Not to mention Vigilance. Will this be enough? What if I slot my blasts with End Mods? Does this increase the likelyhood of draining end or just the amount drained in that eventuallity?

It bugs me that I have to go the fitness route with most of my toons and thought this might be one of the few that could do without.

I do plan to team as much as possible, I just don't want to be one of those defenders that when they can't find a team have to stand around twiddling their thumbs. Are there any good primaries I'm overlooking?

I already have an illusion/storm troller (sitting at lvl 30 currently) who I really enjoy playing. Not sure I would roll another stormie though.

My thoughts behind possibly choosing kinetics was that I can use syphon power (and eventually fulcrum shift) to boost my damage output. Why is it considered hard to solo a kin? I would have thought this was a more solo-friendlu choice?

I have lots of dominators; plant/thorn, ice/ice, fire/nrg, fire/fire and a grav/psi.

Of all of those my favourite by far is my fire/nrg. It has decent control, great pets and very good damage with energy. Also energy has that little gem, power boost. With it you greatly increase the secondary effect of powers. Domination + powerboost + cinders holds an entire group for a very long time. It is a great dom to solo (although a bit difficult to stay alive in a full team) and who doesn't love fire imps?

Hey all, I really enjoy corruptors on CoV so thought I would have another shot at a defender (I used to play a empathy/rad blast back in I5). I would like to try a /Elec as this is something not available in CoV. What primaries go well with this? I would like to be quite offensive, and would like to be able to solo if needed. I have experience with dark, rad and kinetics (from corruptors) and was thinking maybe kinetics/elec, do these sets mesh well, and will I be able to create an offensive toon?

Doesn't look like there is really enough interest in this. If any of you want a team, look me up, I'll be playing most of the weekend.

I don't trust stone, anything that impacts your gameplay to protect from mezzing is baaad, energy aura is too weak, as is electric armour, fire has too many weak spots and Inv perishes if you leave it in to soak, and also isn't great at non-SL.

DA's got sturdy defences, and some neato tricks.

Edit: And Fire isn't anywhere near as weak as energy or electric!

I love this idea. I would really add individualism (or a sense of it) to sg bases.

Blind Minataur is EA so I would probably avoid this for my Stalker as I love to try out powersets I've never played. As it's double XP weekend I might try leveling a DM/SR and a EM/Nin and see which I like best.

Is Ninjitsu as good as SR? What is generally considered to be the "best" stalker secondary? I want to be able to Scrap.

Anyone out there interested in getting together for any taskforces over the double XP weekend. I have loads of alts in many different level ranges so I'm not fussed what we do. Just wanted to gauge whether there was any interest for this really.

I'm in the same boat. Blind has already dinged 50 and my next highest villain is 33.

Morgan got it one BU+TF+ET+Placate+Bonesmasher will take out most ATs quickly.

Although there are times when AS would come in handy but I get along fine without it so dont see much point in using up another power slot just to get it. I dont use stealth either, its quite easy if you use the enviroment to your advantage.

The sets are EM/SR btw so I get quickness to keep the chains going for the tougher ATs, the stun effect from the EM attacks helps a lot too. The endurance is quite bad though but I've got used to it.

I could post up my build if you want but he does need a respec.

P.S I did leave the SG but I only moved to another one that you've got in coalition.

Sorry I couldn't remember your name mini. I rolled a EM/Nin last night. Going to see how it gets on over the double xp weekend, I've always fancied a stalker for PvP. I had a Claws/Regen but didn't really like him.

What do you guys think of the EM/Nin combination?

This sounds like what he was doing. I think it was EM too. I might roll one myself, and go a more scrapper route.

Not the case, I was watching him and he was truly awesome. I asked him afterwards how he did it, but my lack of knowledge with stalkers just left me confused. I've never played a stalker btw.

A few weeks back I did a raid with my VG. We had a Stalker back then who I don't think is with us anymore. He said that he might be the only Stalker without AS on Union. Ha, I thought, why make a Stalker and not take AS? Why gimp yourself like this?

Guess what happened? He out killed everyone participating in the raid. He got something like 38 kills (I was 2nd with 32). Any idea how this is even possible? I think he may have been Energy Melee but I'm not sure.

Needless to say I was very, very impressed and would like to know how this was done.

Grats GG. Just a shame there aren't any unlockable cossie parts for reaching the big 5-0 (long dresses and necklines anyone?)

Forgot to mention (in your new players post) that it is possible to not have a travel power with Kinetics. You can get by with syphon speed (works like a temporary super speed but with no stealth) once you get to lvl 28 (i think) you can get inertial reduction, which works like super jump.

I have a few corruptor alts that don't have sg's. I would love to get involved in an all corruptor sg or team.
