Sounds like a very cool idea. Unfortunately I'm also terrible at drawing. Sorry not much help I know but thought i'd say it sounds cool anyway.
To be honest Envoy that sounds fairly basic. Most decent Tatooists would be able to blend a couple of images that you gave them to create a combined image that would be what you wanted. Say, take a picture of the three slashes and a detail of what Spidey's arm costume looks like and they would be able to fit it together. I did exactly that with my Slaine shoulder tattoo - took a celtic design I wanted and then drew a basic outline of the Tyr-Nan-Og symbol that I wanted to be placed in the centre of it - Bingo! One-off Tat!
Hope it goes well and you get what you want.
I concur, the slashes they'll be able to do easily, just get them to leave the space in between and bring a picture of spidey so they can get the webs right.
I have to agree with the others, a good tattoo artist will work with you to give you exactly what you want and will even tell you if it wont work right and make suggestions to get you something yo will love, I have just had my BDay Tatt finished 4 sessions over 3 months for healing etc and although it wasnt what I originally walked into the parlour with it is much better and I love it 
If they wont work with you or just tell you it wont work look elsewhere a good tattoist is an artist who loves to create custom pieces

I also intend to get a Justice League sleeve done on my right arm.
I'm sure you can find the components for it online that you can download, the tearing effect most will have in premade flash anyway so really all you need is the spidey costume piece. You have any pics of your sep tatt? I would like to see how that looks

Ill try and get a couple of pics online at somepoint, although a few people at download festival wanted to and did take photos of it 
Ok my 21st is coming up and i want one done (my 2nd).
I know the design in my head, but i cant draw to save my life.
So i need help with the following:
a)Finding high resolution images that i can photoshop from.
b)Someone to design it for me.
The design is thus: 3 slashes across my upper left arm as though wolverine has just slashed my costume. But underneath a spiderman outfit is revealed.
Any help with this is greatly recieved.
Note: Put in general as not many peeps look at the creative thead.
