I made the vast majority of mine on buying every purple recipe I could get my hands on and selling Apoc/Arm/Heca/Rag. Takes a lot more loose capital to get a good churn going, but your profit per converter is a lot higher. Even with only a 50% hit rate on good conversions I was doing 60-70M per converter. A quick glance says that the recipes have floated up a bit, but so have the good pieces. It's probably still a solid 50M per converter.
1000 merits -> 20 AMerits -> 200 Converters -> 10B Inf. Minus a bunch of fees for conversion and market taxes, of course.
The basic thing about flipping purples (or PVPIOs) is that not only is your profit-per-flip likely to be higher, but you're also not using up as many converters, since it's only one per flip, compared to 2 or 3 for type/set conversions. -
So, the defensive build. How is it offensively? I've got quite a bit to spend on a build for my Fire tank and I'd love to get something that can survive but also dish out some damage too

Converters are definitely the best amount of money per merit still, I think. Convert to HAMs first, then burn HAMs on merits so you're getting 10 for 50 instead of 5 for 50. It's worth paying 4m per extra converter at the moment.
From there, lots of choices to convert.
- non-damage purples->damage purples
- non-stealth celerities
- kb: kd
- non-proc/global universal travels
There's a lot of options, really. I know some people did well flipping cheap Red Fortunes using out-of-set category converts to the LotG set, but I think that may have saturated? Haven't looked. -
Well, if he's going to take that one Black_Assassin, mind looking into a Fire/Fire tanker build that can do TF's and Incarnate trials? I've got about 800m to spend on him but that'll be flexible depending on how lucky I get with this new batch of converters.

So, I just recently switched alignments from Villain to Hero. How can I get Unai Kemen as a contact? He just told me to talk to Percy Winkley in Croatoa, which doesn't seem right.

I can farm +4x8 on SOs. Considering I can cap out tickets at +2x8, I see little reason to go beyond that for now. I'm only working towards either my general build, or the pure farmer.

Can anyone suggest a SS/FA build that can help me get started out farming? I figure the best way to build myself up is to go cheap first and farm out the Infamy I need for a build until I'm good enough to charge people.

So, I've started building up my SS/FA farmer(who is currently level 33). I was wondering if anyone could provide me with a cheap SS/FA build that can get me started when I get to level 50? I'm not good at this invention thing.

That said, for the higher levels the hand grenade is absolutely vital. If I have it, I don't die, but if I don't, that's it for me. -
So when do these things go down? I wanna jump in and do one sometime before my free 15 days runs out.

That said, finally level 28. I'm farming "Beasts" but I'm not sure that's the best level for me to be farming. -
I've gotten to level 26 now, and I'm faceplanting like crazy. What's going on? Bad luck? I was doing fantastic before then. SO's are up to date if that matters. SS/Fire if I didn't specify that before.

First of all, great map, super quick leveling from it. Great for people who've done everything under the sun. Now for a question. When is a good level to branch off into other farm missions? And which ones should I use?

Hey everyone, looking for an SG here. I've got three level 50's, and I'm looking for a home for them.
I can help with farming(I've got a fire/fire and stone/fire) for influence and prestige or getting your lowbies past the grind, if that helps. I'd like something that wasn't just made, if thats possible.

Folks, I call upon your help. I have a level 50 fire/fire that I haven't used since before ED, and honestly, I have no idea what I'm doing with him. He majorly needs a respec, and if anyone has a fire/fire build that was well, built for AoE, I'd love to look at it.
