Great stuff! Thanks for putting it together! I'm gonna toss a vote in for CoVideoHell.

I'd also like to see something similar.. That "all" link was probably one of the features from the old forums that I used the most. The closest thing I could find was to go into the User CP Options and set the posts per page to 100.

Thanks for pointing that out, Zombie_Man. And thanks to Stupid_Fanboy for his guide!
I've updated the spreadsheet accordingly. (same links as before)

Hello,
I have updated my printable invention spreadsheets for issue 13.
This old thread about them could probably be removed as well.
Cheers, -
Greetings,
I have updated my invention spreadsheets with the new sets from Issue 13 (along with a number of other fixes/tweaks). Most of the data was based on the information from this ParagonWiki page, so much kudos to the hardworking wiki contributors for putting the info there in the first place!
If you've not seen these before, the idea is that I prefer to have a hardcopy of information like this on my desk to flip through rather than needing yet another window open while playing.
[u]Invention Sets[u]
This spreadsheet tries to consolidate set information like recipe drop pools, rarity, set bonuses, etc. into one view. Note that it is colour-coded, so it will really benefit from being printed on a colour printer. Also, it's intended to be printed on legal-sized paper (8.5"x14"), but it does scale down well to letter-sized (8.5"x11").

- Link to ODS file (the 'source', as it were)
[u]Common Inventions[u]
This spreadsheet contains pricing information for the common IO recipes as well as the ingredients needed for crafting them.
- Link to PDF file
- Link to ODS file (again, the 'source')
Hope this helps those of you looking for this sort of thing. Feedback/corrections/suggestions certainly welcome. I'll attempt to keep this updated as I can.

Greetings.. I just wanted to stop by to mention that my invention spreadsheets have been updated for Issue 11.

Hello folks,
I've updated the spreadsheets to include what's currently known about the new sets in Issue 11. I've also removed the one sheet that doesn't contain the % numbers to simplify the maintenance of it a bit.
Also note that most of the past links in this thread aren't valid any more (sorry!).. Please use these links:
- Invention Sets PDF
- The spreadsheet itself (ods format)
In addition to these, I've had this next one around for a little while, though I haven't posted about it before. It's a spreadsheet with information about the common IOs.

Greetings folks,
So with the recent huge grants, I've been spending too much time in the base editor of late. I didn't have the patience to tinker with magic desks though (as cool as the results look), so I just made do with what's there.
This is the 4th revamp I've done for our group. We're a smallish team of 8 or so people with bad cases of alt-itis on Virtue. At this point, I think I've pretty much maxed out the usefulness of the 8x8 plot, but we can't afford to move up to the 8x12 yet.
On with the show!
For convenience, here's our gallery index. You can click a thumbnail and use the next/previous buttons to navigate. And then you can click an image to view it full-size.

Love the new wallpapers!
I've got a dual-monitor setup so I tweaked a couple of them somewhat (cropping/cutting/pasting/etc) and liked how it turned out so I thought I'd share this 2560x1024 monstrosity.
Here's a widescreen (16:10) version of it too, for anyone interested: 1680x1050
Enjoy!

Thanks for the feedback and I'm glad you found it somewhat useful. Another reason I left out the numbers was that I didn't want to stretch the page out past letter-sized paper.
But what the heck, here's some new links... (not sure how to change the original post)
- Link to the letter-sized (8.5"x11") PDF with no numbers
- Link to the legal-sized (8.5"x14") PDF with numbers
- Link to the ODS spreadsheet
Hope that helps you out a bit more..

Greetings,
Longtime player/lurker and not really a forum participant. Just some guy that made a spreadsheet I thought I'd share.
A quick background.. When I9 was released, I basically ignored inventions for a while. Then I started accumulating all the loot and my storage slots kept filling up. I finally figured I might as well learn what to do with it all. Next came the information overload and the fact that it was in many different places. Much kudos to the fine contributors at ParagonWiki for distilling a bunch of it. However, I don't like to constantly look things up on websites to find the info I need. Give me a hardcopy to flip through on my desk and I'm set.
My goal here was just to have a handy checklist sort of thing with indications of where I would likely find the bits of the sets I wanted (other than the consignment market). To that end, what I've done is copy the information from the Invention Set tables on ParagonWiki into a 3-page spreadsheet, printable on 8.5"x11" pages (landscape). Oh, and you'll probably want to use a colour printer.
Features:
<ul type="square">[*] tables organized by category, set level, and rarity (I tried to coax some patterns out of the data which is why they don't exactly match the ones on PW)[*] colour-coded drop pools and relative set bonuses[*] no numbers! (because I don't have any interest (yet) in working out any stats)[/list]Link to the PDF version
Link to the spreadsheet itself (ODS format)
Hope that helps anyone looking for this sort of thing. Feedback is certainly welcome though I don't stop by here that often. I'll be attempting to keep it up to date as the grey boxes on the sheet get discovered.
Cheers!
