Oh come on! Starting a thread like this is mean, now I hafta spend an hour or two sifting through all my screen shots just to find some I like. Well, you brought this on yourself : P Mad screen shot posting time!

I'll start with some of my earlier captures, and move along. Unfortunately, I cannot find one of my screen shot folders, so it's probably on an old hard drive some where : p

Trace the Rat with Super Jump: My first character with super jump, and most of us remember how awesome that feels the first time.

The first Respec: Hopefully, most of us don't remember the day respecs went live >_< Unfortunately, I could not find my shots of the day Icon opened >_>

Adrigon the androgynous...: Yeah, my first real glitch...copied my girlfirend's toon to test, and this is what 'she' became...he/she is still in test, because I can't bring myself to get rid of it >_>

I have a slight obsession with the Whirlwind power: I get these strange ideas, and usually go to test to try them out.

It's a bird! It's a plane!: No, it's a hellion. Yeah, did you know, before the rag doll effects, you could send a level one hellion to the zone ceiling with 6 SO slotted whirlwind and levitate?

Elevator: Then I thought, "What if I just took fly, turned on whirlwind, and set a baddie to follow?"

I think I wasted an entire week doing this in test >_> Though I should note, with ragdoll, it doesn't work so well any more : p

Land ho!: Shipwrecked ghost ship in Talos, fairly certain it doesn't get stuck any more >_>

Masterminds invade City Hall!: Well, one of the less annoying bugs in the CoV Beta testing ; )

Remember when physics debris went live?: I do ^_^

I remember it well ^_^: I think I have committed more litter law crimes, and mail fraud with this character then any other.

Pumpkin head: And not the one you think. I find the one guy in the Rogue Isles you can stand on, and this is what I do >_>

My first appearance at a Hamidon Raid: Yeah, I'm in there...really >_>

Hami go boom!: Not a yellow dawn mind you, just good timing on the screen shot at his defeat.

Now this, is a Yellow Dawn: Take the day after my first time seeing one occur.

Floating skulls?: Thanks to a little glitch with my brand of video cards, a certain combination of colors made costume pieces vanish for me.

And so, the floating skull was born: Though the costume must have looked really silly for anyone with a different video card >_>

I keep typing Red Wasp, because that is a name for certain paper wasps >_> I wanted to do some things different, but they just looked too silly for a finished costume. Really wanted to use the elongated alien head, since hardly any one does, but it is so difficult to make it fit with the rest of the costume.

Still don't know how you manage FPS like that though. I have to jack my resolution down to this size just to manage 60fps >_> Which is funny, because I manage 20fps in a hammi raid with all my settings jacked up, and that's still playable. One would think at lest then a quarter of the resolution, it could eke out a bit more processing power.

I really like the perspective and sense of motion on the Speedster one...which, in typing it, sounds silly and redundant, since he is a speedster >_> But you did it well ; ) ((And I don't think the muscles are bad, I mean, he is a scrapper, and with a pose like that, I think he would be using them.))

Fia was not born in to power, and was never meant for any great destiny. Thing like that never mattered to her, but some times, to protect the things that matter most in your world, you need power, and a little help from fate.

She did alright for herself, claiming an alley between two restaurants as her territory. As long as she stayed sharp, and made sure other strays knew she could fight, there was always a good pick of scraps at the end of the day. Nothing changed much, day to day, and it was a good time, a safe place.

Thing did change though, as they tend to do with time. Eventually, she met a tom that was better fighter then her, but that didn't bother her much. He was fair cat, and it was a good territory, and they shared the spoils. It was nice having another stray to keep the territory safe, and not have to fight as much. In time, they had a litter, and she was happy to have young to take care of.

But it was not long before things took a bad turn. One night, there was a commotion rising from one of the restaurants in their territory. It sounded like human trouble, and the big tom took off around the corner of the alleyway when the explosion sounded. Fia was nested behind a dumpster in a discarded box, sheltering her week old young, hoping the trouble would pass soon. And then the smell of fire reached her nose.

Not that she new anything about where these two restaurants were, but as it happened, on this night, several Hellion gangs had planned their own little inferno party. Steel Canyon was alight with fires that night, and the little restaurant burning down was no one's high priority. Still weak from birthing, the young mother cat began collecting her young by the napes of their necks, and carrying them out of the smoke filled alley, to a dark corner across the street. By the time she managed to collect the last of the kittens, she was having trouble seeing anything through the alley, let alone breathing through the thick smoke.

Darting out from the alley way in to the street, Fia had no time to react to the fire truck she had just run in front of. With a final push, just before the edge of the tire clipped her hind leg, the feline managed to toss her youngling to the sidewalk. Sliding across the pavement from the impact of the tire, Fia blacked out from the pain before she could see if her litter was safe. Everything after that becomes a confusing blur, when she tries to remember it.

When Fia woke, she was in an apartment in the norther quarters of Steel Canyon. Everything was confusing, and she couldn't understand what any of her sense were telling her. Looking across the room from the couch she had been resting on, she saw her littler, all of her young, sleeping in a wicker basked on a pillow. She did not understand how that could be...or even that she knew what a wicker backed was, but she was incredibly happy...

Happy, relieved...names for feelings she had always recognized, but never named. Some thing was wrong, everything was wrong, as she looked down at her hands..she...had hands?!

In time, Fia came to understand what had happened. She had died, in her old body, the night of the fire. But an entity, an alien mind, had found her in all the chaos, lured by the strength of her desire to protect her young. Searching for a strong host to prolong it's own live, it shared it's power with the dying feline, and merged with it's will to protect, to create a new being.

Deciding she would need to learn a new way of living, the entity chose to name herself after the star the alien had been born in, and the thing the is most proud of. The alien lived in an F class super giant, so she simplified the entities vast knowledge, and went with F-Ia, describing it's mass and color. Picking pieces she liked from several languages, Fia decided on Dam for mother, and Poesje for cat. Now, with her own name, she decided on a path. To protect any who could not protect themselves. Starting with her own young, she wants to protect as many as she can with the power she has.

((Has recently begun adopting any stray, or abandoned kittens she meets. Her apartment manager has a strict policy against pets, but is having trouble refusing Fia, since as it happens, she protected his building the night of the inferno...even though she doesn't remember it >_&gt

Well, I am of the opinion you don't need to show skin to be hot. I had many ideas, but I agree with Crown, in that it is difficult to create a costume with much distinction without throwing in a few colors to add contrast or emphasis.

Here is one I had fun with, though the only colors are the built in iridescence of the insect armor, the red in the skull's eyes, and gunmetal blue chains.

Stalkers, making you wonder why you even made a costume.

Far as I can tell, this is a side effect of having a map within a map. I only notice this effect when some members of the team are in the caves, and some members are not. I am thinking it is a bug that loads up the environment settings for the caves for the entire map the moment some one enters them.

I have noticed negative land goes back to normal when all the team members are on the surface as well. Probably loads up the original environments when the person who initially entered the caves exit again.

And I'm back with a new one. Found an interesting glitch when wearing any chest emblem on any character with the Pattern 3 chest design.

As cool as it is to have a hole in your chest, probably not intentional. I just use the tree, because it is most prominent on emblems with gradients.

This is on test, obviously. The Trenchcoat has a clipping issue when the waist slider is moved up. It appears no matter where the physique slider is positioned.

Next post has to do with some head clipping issues, female model again.

First, is an issue with using armor, and any standard female head, mask, mask/hair, hats and the like. The neck line clips with the armor, no matter where you place any of the body slider settings.

Normal head with armor.

The same happens with the special widow helmet and Armor.

As well as with the reptilian head in monstrous.

Another issue with the reptilian head specifically, is that it does not connect with the female model entirely, leaving holes. Only pertains to the reptilian head, since the others have fur covering that area.

Holes!

And gaps.

First post here pertains to belts on the female form.

A number of the larger belts, with parts that climb higher up the abdomen, end up clipping with the model's stomach if you have any waist setting other then the skinniest side of the slider : p

Almost unnoticable on the V belt.

Cannot be missed on some others...

Some are just silly.

And a few, you can be as skinny as you please, it will still clip.

((Edit: Of course, now that I am paying more attention, that is a Rikti paw in some one else's face ; ) Still, my point, and sentiment remains. It's cool ^_^ ))

Only things missing are her head band, which keeps the crazy hair out of her eyes, and the facial markings. Though I imagine it would be difficult to get those markings in on the line drawing and still tell she has facial features ; ) That and the head band doesn't stand out too well unless you are staring straight at her...same as her aura goes unnoticed unless you see her in the dead of night, against a dark back drop, with no other effects or powers running.

For example ; )

I have this problem where I like to use dark, rich colors in a game where they don't always stand out amidst the neon glowing greens and bright blues all over the place ; )

Heh, your finished pieces have a kind of film noir feel to them, with the shading. Pretty neat ^_^
