The Casino tileset would make a great Restaurant too with some minor alterations.

Just rip out the craps tables and slot machines and put in some dining tables, switch out the bright lights for something more subdued, change out the cashier cages for a salad bar and put a kitchen in that poker room and voila!

How about because he only wants them to bother raising the limits for his server for his convenience and doesn't give a crap about anyone else, including yourself?

He's even changed the idea to a "let me pay for my special privileged spot during the special event to make sure no else can take my place if I log out" suggestion.

Yes, there is a cap on the amount per character. You can only have 10 at a time.

I can attest to this.

I have a Fire Blaster that used to use macros for some of his attack powers. After a while I got so many complaints from team mates that I just started using the regular power buttons again and I moved the macros off to the side so that I could still pop them off once in a while.

My macros:

/macro Blast "local Hey catch!$$powexec_name Fire Blast"

/macro FB "local Fire in the hole!$$powexec_name Fire Ball"

Now, imagine the chat window getting filled up with...

I have a number of natural characters that aren't human. This would be a "Natural Human" server though. I don't have a narrow view. I have just narrowed the definition for this server idea. So, don't start being condescending.

Yes, AR would work, using tech devices like Temp Powers would work. Low Tech and Modern Tech = available for Natural Humans. Rocket Boots would be fine, but there are no travel powers for them to work with so...

I'm just thinking how this would help people get a grip on their whining about having to travel with travel powers. Let them see what it's like to go without for a bit. See if they complain about the travel power servers after that.

And welcome to the game!

Mine would be a Natural only server. You would only be allowed to choose from powersets with weapons or Natural (human) fighting styles (This means no Elemental sets, no Empathy, no Mental powers, no Controllers or Doms at all) and there would be no Travel Power pools.

Swift and Hurdle would be as fast as you would go.

Now let's hear people complain about traveling to other zones with travel powers.

Nope. The airplane is still going to Denver. A performer is still going to put on the concert. If you pay more for your ticket just so you can have a nicer seat, the net gain per ticket is higher from you instead of the guy sitting in the back.

Note: Most airlines don't even have a first class/business class section anymore. They found they make more money when they can pack as many people in as possible and not have to deal with the greedy snobs who think they should come before everyone else.

Take my advice. Talk to your friends about starting an alt SG on another server. You'll be much happier when these events come around.

Think about it. If you get teams really super easy on Freedom then you level fast there all the time, right? Well, so why not work on another server where you can't level so fast all the time?

No. The amount of money you have in real life should never effect whether or not you get to play the game on a particular server. No one should have to pay to hold their place on a server during an event, period.

How about sometime you have a chat with your wife you friends and your SG mates and see if they maybe all would like to start a new group on an alternate server. I mean if you all moved at once you wouldn't have issues finding teams, would you? Then when events like this come up you won't only have one place to go.

My SG on Liberty has a second SG on Triumph. We play on both servers pretty regularly now. And that isn't even because of possible lag problems and lock-out during "overcrowded weekend" on Freedom or Virtue.

What it actually means is, from now on, if you happen to not get the Temp Power you cannot Petition to get it if you are level 25 or above. The GMs will the send the standard "working as intended" reply if you do.

Um, why? I almost always end up outleveling this granny before I can manage to finish her mission. Now I'm going to be out a Temp Power every time I do her arc while working other arcs at the same time. WTH?

As a standard for my solo heroes I always try to unlock Stephanie's arc as soon as I pop twenty before I go around doing the other arcs in that range. I did so to ensure that I would be able to finish the arc and get her temp power at the end. Now, well I guess that's right out the window.

Was there some kind of exploit being used? Are we not supposed to be allowed to have the Wedding Band after level 25? Really, why the hell was this change made?

I haven't had a hero come up missing yet. I did get the normal ambushes for the Weapon Raid and Jewel Heist side missions. There are no flying Longbow spawns in Atlas or Kings.

If this is known as a bug that good enough. I just didn't see it on the list, so I thought I should mention it.

I thought it might have been intended to make Mayhems more like Safeguards, which is sort of how it works out. A villain team can now run straight to the bank pound some guards and be done is about the same time as a hero group with it like this.

With the Longbow it is more of a challenge is all.
